*sighs* Yeah, I could too. It's too bad Rae's gonna take the Liberal crown, because I'm sure as hell not voting Tory 18 months from now. But Layton's gonna win, at most, 35-40 seats.....I don't want to vote for Bob Rae as PM, although I do like his Pharmacare Idea.

By the way, how is the first name of your avatar pronounced? anne-zee? on-zee? anne-yay?...you get it.

Fair. But three 5-on-3's in eight minutes is a lot.
-
Is there a quota to fill as fas as penalties go? There's already been three 5-on-3's at the ACC tonight, and, by my count, eight total penalties in the first 13 minutes. 3-1 Leafs with eight to go in the first.

His name says it all, although I'm sure he's heard that a million times. -
I disagree. But I can't back it up. *Waits to be the Semenko to C-Bacon's Gretzky.

Yes. Hell yes. Both worthy contenders, but I'd go with Steve Simmons. But Bob McKenzie would win hands down if he still wrote for the Star. I don't hate Simmons, but I can see why someone would. McKenzie, though? Maybe it's because I'm used to seeing him with far inferior panelists (Domi, McGuire, Healy), but I like Mckenzie. -
Even though, in it's purest sense, Smash Adams > Quailman, my cap is tipped to Mole. I appluad your creativity and effort, Mole.

The story I heard was that he hit on Hilary Duff in said nightclub, but Duff preferred Alex Auld instead....

Yes. Hell yes. -
Max, why is Gene Wilder so pissed in your sig? A buddy of mine swears he looks like Gretz. San Jose continues it's PP success, with Thornton's first coming on the man advantage. Criminally underrated Patrick Marleau also scored on the PP in San Jose's 4-2 win over Tampa.

Bret and Vince's hockey fight? Tell me more, as that doesnt ring a bell even slightly.

Would anyone consider that Marie Antoinette a bomb?

Buffalo's down early, 2-1. *Holds breath Already three powerplays for the Leafs, and they've taken advantage. 2-1 with seven to play in the first.

Green Bay - Even with Arizona reeling, GB as the favourites? On the other hand, what the hell, why not? Cincinnati Baltimore Tennessee Jacksonville Kansas City Chicago N.Y. Giants San Diego Indianapolis N.Y. Jets Pittsburgh Dallas New England

Along the lines of Goldberg, there was a great pic of Snitsky(that was once someone's signature) looking exceptionally goofy during his first "It wasnt my fault promo".

I'm all over the Rumble one... Even as a long time ECW mark, I've never quite been interested in DVD's put out under the WWE umbrella.

I've become Amish by default, as I didn't shave for three weeks, and the Keg costume I was going to buy sold out.

I was going to mention that, but as a 13 year old mark, I was horrified.

*vomits* That said, er, done.....Raw from Montreal in August '05 was a classic moment, and probably a top 10 Raw moment ever.

I'm gona say the exact opposite of your post. Why are the Sabres so dominant when I wasn't sold on Miller starting the season?..And quite frankly, I'm still not. When the league's leading scorer isn't on your top line, you've got shit figured out. *Sigh...I agree with the noob. Ten wins are ten wins. They were for the Leafs, they are for the Sabres.

Definitely Neil. The second might have been McGrattan. Either way, he's got way too many stones in his living room. Spezza indeed had a sick goal.Spezza notwithstandig, I;m thrilled over Heatley's hat trick. I'm sure I mentioned it dozens of times last season, but I wrote a piece for my paper in college defending Heatley, and this only confirms what I wrote and am still pretty proud of three years ago. So, I had considered a poll: "Who's weirder to see on TSN out of Cuthbert, Dreger or Williams?" Instead, "Best-spoken black goalie out of Weekes or Emery?" EDIT: Anyone ever recall a post-game with Fred Braithwaite? Also, check out Bill Berg on the NHL network (also on TSN outside of Leafs Region tonight) pleading for an asterisk on the Sabres' record-tying win tonight.

*Has 20 dollars a piece through his bookie on Tampa and Ottawa. I heart gambling. Conversely, I dislike Buffalo. It's a longstanding Mullen/Collins (my ancestry) character trait that can't quite be explained. As such, the 10-0 doesn't sit well, especially with 80% of those being Leaf fans. As CC touched on, its geting ugly at ScotiaBank, even worse after the Leafs had a comeback going for a while. Kilger and Tucker already made the shitlist Tuesday, I'm thinking Belak will melt down a little at some point tonight....calling Patrick Eaves an idiot before the game starts doesn't start off on the right foot. It was pretty entertaining to see Ray Emery respectfully calll Belak an idiot on Sportscentre today.

Though I never saw it, a guy I know loves that night, for, mostly, Kanyon's "Who better than Austin" shirt that night.
-
In no order: -Sid getting the night off. -Michaels passing out after Owen's enziguri. -Pillman/Austin gun incident -Sabu diving off the Raw sign in 97 -The Bret/Sid cage match from March 97 -Bret turning heel. -Bret reforming the Hart Foundation -Paul Bearer screaming "Kane is alive!" -Rocky joining the Nation. -Owen joining the Nation -Vince cutting an unreal promo on Dude Love encouraging him to make the sacrifice to fight Terry Funk later on that evening. -Terry Funk introducing Scorpio as his tag partner. - In the, I think second to last Raw before KOTR 98, there was an exceptionally fun last half-hour which featured a Tag Royal Rumble, including a great last mini-match between Funk/Scorpio vs Mankind and Kane. My moment, howeer goes to after the Rumble, in which Austin and Kane fought atop the Hell in the Cell, and Undertaker had Bearer locked inside and beat the crap out of him. This is by far my most favourite 'forgotten' Raw moment. JR's hype of Austin when the glass broke was exceptional. -Also that summer, the last Raw before it was revealed that Taker and Kane were in cahoots, when Austin dragged Kane (in Taker's clothes, but with the Kane mask on), to a hearse, which the Undertaker had locked and then drove off in. -Mankind's title win. -Raw is Owen -From Raw in Toronto in Feb. '99. Vince had Austin tied in the ropes and began mimicking him. -Austin disrupts Tyson. -Vince's speech with all the roster in the ring after he fired Austin the previous night. -ECW reforms in 2001 - Heyman shows up to protest the ECW Funeral in '05. Fuck, that's a lot, isn't it? Sorry.
