Explain. Foley has throughly put over his devotion(if not, love) for Melina for months. Before the Flair angle even started. Put over how much he cares for her as a friend and hasn't shied from showing a emotional connection to her. The match was brutal as expected and Foley took it like a pill and we know he could have taken more. Re-watch the pre-match promo with Foley and Melina and they well established that Melina cares honestly for Mick as well. Foley with almost his last breath urges Flair to stop and gives away his pride to save the girl who tried to save him. If you still can't realize why it was great, then you never really paid attention to Foley in the last 5 months. On the same page.
