Wasnt it Killswitch Engage? Wait...they covered it. It does the trick, as does Benoit's theme, either the WWE or the OLP version.

Crazy. When did that happen? I've always prided myself on knowing the names of arenas, stadiums, and where golf tourneys are held. I dropped the ball for about three weeks on Scotiabank Centre this year as well.
-
Where the hell's the Honda Centre? L.A. I assume on context clues, but, I've never heard of it.
-
Home? Yes. Away? No. Well, I liked em, but not everyone likes the 80's as much as I do, to the extent that every night is ok for them. On that note, maybe Lafontaine will shuffle off to Western New York and close the deal to bring back the 80's ones. Or not.

I've always liked Kornheiser, foremost. But I can't even watch Le Betard. He's like a high school kid appearing on TV.

That's not NHL. That's community college or AA ball.

Quite frankly, the trouble seems to me is that there aren't TAG TEAMS. There's wrestlers with nothing to do lumped as a tag team. This has been a problem since about 1999. The New Age Outlaws were an exception, but they had a name. They weren't Billy Gunn and Road Dogg. Look at the Tag Battle Royale at WM 14 or the Tag Royal Rumble on a June 98 Raw: Two or three combo teams (to fill out a show), but they at least had a common denominator, be it stablemates, or same manager, or past storylines together. Go through the last 15 or 20 tag champs on either show. Save Spirit Squad, it's all combo teams. Again, an exception are Billy and Chuck, but they had a gimmick. Two defences of Billy Gunn? That shows how bad it's gotten.

Thanks, Sideburnious. My search to look for said sig lasted about 10 seconds. Admitedly, though I never really watched WCW, I prolly should have recognised Stevie. I feel shame...but doesn't everyone not named Czech or Slayer leave NHB with their tails between their legs? -
Wrestlers with extreme heat and where and why it started?..
CanadianGuitarist replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
I had never heard that. Austin and DX aren't surprising, but a lot of people refused to work with him? -
Just in case Baron wasn't being sarcastic, They should go after Leetch(and that's a worst-case scenario).Tarnstrom, Ulanov, Markov should top the list, if they need to shop...which I don't necessarily think they do. If they want to bring back anyone (see: your Recchi comment), Eric Desjardins. Maybe one more defenceman is the point I'm stressing...but Streit, Rivet or Bouillon could probably get the job done to complete a competent top four with A.Markov, Souray and Komisarek. There's enough young talent on this team to do just fine, for the most part. Switching gears, Belfour in Florida? Why not? He and Keenan had some success once upon a time, but...you know. If we're playing Fantasy GM, Hasek > Belfour. So what's Detroit going to do if Belfour does indeed sign with Florida, pending results of his physical(which, if he fails, pack it in, Eddie, for the love of God)? They still haven't signed a competent Legace(and likely won't, pointing the finger over the Edmonton series). They can't be serious about Osgood, who's about 45 years past his prime (waits for Major League joke). I mean, this is still a good enough team to not have to re-build.

Isn't it true Virgil earned his WWF job by allowing Pat Patterson to suck his male member? Come on? Wouldn't Virgil blowing PP be more befitting?

I read this post while listening to Stompin Tom sing "I've Been Everywhere". That is all.

Or imagine if Bret Hart came back to feud with DX! It's not gonna happen. The gimmick is fine, they don't need to be bought as badasses, just as annoying, cocky, cheating heels, but when you can't win a 5 on 2 handicap match, that just makes you look unbelievably weak, and they may not be able to recover from this. I agree. I don't have to buy them as bad asses. Let them get some credibility by at least staying competitive in a match, much less winning it. Have they won even a single match of any kind since the tag titles? The gimmick should warrant heat. It's not reallllllllly, but the fact that they're being treated as a joke is going hand in hand.
-
I'm surprised it took so long for someone to post that. Weeks after weeks of losing to DX. The Highlanders clearly have heat, so they'll win the now meaningless titles. SS gets mad at one another for it. Common sense.

YES! That's still the Shark for PIL to jump, I say.
-
Agreed, but I don't think we've seen Walker at his best yet. He'll wind up third line though probably, so, maybe this post is moot.
-
I mean, come on. There is no way this could possibly be anything less than tried, ridiculous and stupid.
-
Also my first thought.

What's not to like about that?

That's fucking Oprah? I thought it was that guy in the Froot Loops signature that someone has on here...Suckas got to know. If TSM were the History Channel, Czech would be our Hitler. He's just that integral, memorable and discussion-worthy. -
Not to sound like a tool, but you didn't quite answer it. Is an Integrated Digital Tuner what makes the difference between an HD and HD ready? Is an ATSC tuner and Integrated Digital Tuner the same thing?
-
My ECW just received, on a whim, a couple 32" LCD HDTV's. They claim to recieve both NTSC and digital signals. Is a digital signal, in essence, the same as HDTV? Is the inegrated digital tuner what receives ATSC signals? Basically what I'm asking - is the integrated digital tuner, ultimately, the major difference between an HD and an HD Ready Tv?

$750,000? That's not unfair by Big E at all.

Fact. Said TSN just now "Despite reports, Lindros has NOT signed with Dallas, and is expected to make up his mind in the next 24 hours."
-
As he was with Hogtown 12 months ago, Lindros is a gamble. But he's still a talented (albeit tentative) player, taken at a bargain of 1.5 mil. I don't like him, but if I were a GM who could sign him for that rate, I'd do it as well.
