Thank God. I can enjoy Raw, not the case from last week. An AAE/Cena rap battle = ratings
-
Was that against Mr Perfect and the genius Poffo, if so I was there. Yes, yes it was.

A guy I work with and I discussed this. Batista goes over Finlay and Lashley in a 3 way dance for the Summerslam #1 Contendership. Finlay and Lashley beat each other enough that they can't continue, Batista pins Finlay, but this keeps Finlay/Lashley from being ruined. Booker jobs the title to Batista at SS, after beating Rey at GAB. Its tim to wrap that up.

Not bad, but will we be able to Umaga seriously in three/six months, if he keeps going over jobbers and Duggan? Somewhere in all of this, Chris Masters will be back, and he can play the UMC heel role just fine, I think. Cena needs to stop being built as an unbeatable Superman to make Raw more interesting. Why wasn't there a draft this year? -
He started a thread in February-ish citing a fault with every regular poster here. That belongs in the TSM Museum's Czech wing, along with this test.

The Ultimate Mario Bros. Showdown
CanadianGuitarist replied to CanadianGuitarist's topic in Video Games
We have a winner. Started at level four. He lost all three lives fighting Birdo in 4-2. I lost one in 4-1, one in 4-2 and defeated Birdo to win. As per the pre showdown stips, he'll be paying for my wings Monday night. His MSN name is now Joe Amateur as well. -
Since nearly everything in our lives becomes a pissing contest, we decided to settle a Mario Bros. debate the old-fashioned way: Bloodshed. I heart Luigi. Always have. I'd always used him in Mario 2 out of loyatly, which came up in discussion at work one day. He said he always liked the Princess, on the grounds she could float, unlike Luigi's slippery landing. I maintained it was an acquired talent, and he was both an idiot and a pussy. Which led to the Best of 3 Mario 2 Showdown. Three lives. Whoever gets further with their respective character gets ten Mcdonald's sundaes and either a free beer or JD/coke at this weekend's drinking bonanza. I lead 1-0. Made it to 2-3, despite losing two lives in 1-2. He was defeated by Birdo in 2-2. Discuss.

Despite the fact I don't like either of them, there's something that really stands out to me in the Warrior planting the feud seeds with Hogan by accidentally clotheslining him.

DDP was at two Wrestlemanias. Both in Toronto. 12 years apart. 18 vs. Xian, of course, and, I just learned, driving the Honky Tonk Man's pink Cadillac to the ring.

I agree, as much as I like Emery.

The Ultimate Mario Bros. Showdown

Tied up. Round 2 started at Level 3. I died in 3-3. He died twice on the way there, but survived. Round 3 goes between hamsteaks and SNME Saturday Night. A handful of McDonald's sundaes are on the line. -
I agree. Fleury could, should and will be a highest calibre goalie by 2010. Apart from his puckhandling gaffe at the 2004 World Juniors, he is an excellent goalie, and the veritable revolving door goalie in Pittsburgh is screwing with his head. Coupled with the poor Pittsburgh D screwing with his stats, and there you have it. I'm saying Detroit is where Hasek winds up. Detroit seems eager to get an over the hill goalie in Belfour, and I've hear rumours that they were interested in Hasek as well. Hasek won them a cup three years ago with basically the same team, sans Yzerman, Hull and Shanny. That seems to make the most sense.

We can hope, can't we?

Haul-a-Cost < Supplies Party. Props either way, you magnificent bastard.

I like Johnson coming a lot. Props to Gainey who at least seems to be making an effort to counter the problem of the Habs being so small, especially up front. Granted, I'm taller than Sergei, but I like these deals a lot. Zednik never did quite become all he could of. I was beginning to think he was a bad locker room guy, especially the way they had talked of trading him over the last 17 months. If we can just get one big defenceman, I'll be really happy with our starting six. If Higgins, Ryder(provded he re-signs), Komisarek and Ribero all play like they can, I'll be every excited. Max, Chara could feasibly kill anybody. He's the Undertaker, for christ sakes.

People Dynamite Kid had heat with over the years?

I don't know what happened with the Rougeaus. Foley says in his first book, while he doesn't hold it against him, DK definitely took some liberties with Foley in his second match ever. Don't be afraid to use the shift key nxt post. -
I don't know if that should be construed as unpopular. I fucking love these people who think the government is just out to get them. You were right on the money.
-
I think we indeed have a winner. I'd never actually seen/heard that, only heard of it.

Short answer: Yes, if Long answer: No, but What determines the best angle? Most impactful? Most entertaining? Personal favourite? -
I've been looking for the Hogan turn, in particular, Schiavone telling him to got to hell.
-
Not bad Smues. In a similar one, a buddy of mine has as his background, the same scene, but a horse and Christopher Reeves.

which proves you clearly don't follow hockey. simon has been a prominant player with calgary for the past 2 seasons. well, he was traded at the deadline in 04. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Isn't anyone entitled to a little slip-up now and then? In July no, less? Chris knows his shit. Cut him some slack.
-
Well, I agree in principle with this. It is hypocritical. But Kim Jong is a fucking lunatic, so I'll make an exception.

Wait a minute. Are you guys suggesting that HBK, HHH and the McMahons would somehow steal the spotlight at the expense of up and comers? No, that can't be.
