Guh. I don't like where this is going with ECW. Good lord, I never thought I'd say that again. Oh, wait.

Fuckin Foley. God damn, he always brings it. I'm a little worried that they might be going to the well a little often.

Comments that don't warrant a thread

Woody Paige + Bayless + LeBatard + Smith would make the perfect Around the Horn....hell make Stu Scott the host. So I'm not the only one who hates Scott? The Jonathan Coachman of ESPN....(although I don't hate the Coach that much, really).

    NHL 2006 Off-Season...

Ottawa did indeed get hosed. But it's not a wash. I didn't realise how little Havlat played last year, so I suppose it all comes out in the wash. Smolinski never made headlines or anything, but at least could two way play. If Hennessay can refill that role, they'll be alright. If I were an Ottawa fan, I'd be fairly excited to see Preissing with Redden, but would want another big d-man, preferrably a stay at home type. On second thought, the top two would likely be Redden-Phillips now. So, yeah, get a fourth guy, maybe to round out the PP and this'll all work out. It's kind of unfortunate that a talented player like Havlat will be sucked into the Wirtz black hole. What's his salary like? Ottawa has a little room to breathe now with this deal, don't they?

As much as I like Bell, Chicago is the clear winner here. Although Bell is going to, IMO, fit really well in San Jose. This is a vastly different playing style on paper than the team that got to the Western Finals two years ago.

    The Youtube Thread

Schultz promo on Hogan I'll admit to never hearing of this guy, ever. But this is one of the long list of promos to fall under the "so bad it's good" category. Freakin watch Mene Gene(how many times have we said that during this thread?)

    Pictures I Like

Between the kid on Raw this week and this movie, we've all earned some bad karma delighting in kid's displeasure this week, haven't we?

WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot

Along the lines of the PBS documentary, I marked the fuck out during an episode of Whose Line a few years ago. Bunch of clips of Mike Awesome and I think Harlem Heat used in a game.

    Why have we been

Thank you. I was worried as coming off as a 'noobist' lately. If 20,000 people posted here, I'd be cool with it, but if the quality of threads suffered, then that's where my problem lays(or is it lies?)

A Good Start Not to single this guy out, but there's been more of this lately.

    NHL 2006 Off-Season...

Props. I couldn't come up with that one. And my entire life is based on naming old school players.

McLennan is back in Calgary after a tour of the East. I vividly remember discussing with Baron and my brother about a week after the '04 Finals wrapped up. All three of us thought that McLennan would step up in Turek's injury, not Kipper. Nonetheless, I'm sure he's happy to be back, he's a good backup. Baron - I, too would love to see Ryan Malone in Montreal....but he's not what we should be going after on the free agent market. A bigger centre, and maybe one more stud defenceman (although Souray, Komisarek, Markov and Streit can be a competent top four most nights). Scoring wasn't thaaaaat bad last year.

Not really a concoction, but a legend is growing over my Tootsie Rolls: creme de cacao and oj
  22. Well done. This on yesterday's news of a MAJOR terror bust in Toronto. Interestingly, Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair reported that the motivation for the attacks was not faith-based. Either way, we can all learn something from the article above, I suspect.

    OAO Raw Thread - July/3rd/2006.

I work with another AAE mark. We forcibly, physically fought over who could answer the phone this weekend, since we wanted to answer it like AAE.
