That scared the fuck out of me. I was sure RVD was done.

    The OAO 6/26 Raw Thread

he's not the WWE guy. But he is the WWE Champ. That trumps, I say. They're doing the intros ECW style...hmm.

    The OAO 6/26 Raw Thread

My ECW love notwithstanding(and my hatred of Cena) WHY THE FUCK is RVD coming to the ring first?

    Post Your Unpopular Political Opinions

Unless you're a member of the Canadian Alliance (), that's not a very unpopular opinion, I've found. Most seem to side with me that Martin was left with a hell of a mess that Chretien left. (See Kim Campbell and Brian Mulroney). Mine: I'd love to see the death penalty legal. I also think we need a woman as a Prime Minister

    NHL 2006 Off-Season...

Interesting true-but-not-so-strange story: In 2004/2005, a couple of my buddies and I had an online hockey league in ESPN 2K5, among them Baron. Our buddy Kevin, who's a Habs fan to some degree but is a huge poseur, decided that, after playing the exact same strategy for 40 minutes of a game, that Jose Theodore was at fault for his being down 6-0. So, he put Huet in net. And lost 7-2. So, Kevin decided to play Huet the next four games, all of which he won(he was the best team in the league to begin with, somehow). When we told him "It's not your goaltending, it's your strategy" he said "NO! HUET > THEODORE!" Also in the same department. The two worst teams in the league were Me(Edmonton) and a friend of a friend (Carolina). Oh, how times change indirectly.

    Mr. Smitty goes to Washington

Will you be greeting Senator Kennedy by saying: MISTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTER KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENEDDDY! ? If not, well, I got nothing.

    State Your Unpopular Opinions

I agree with the Melina thing. Steph never looked better, for my money, then when Test asked her out, but she was indeed smoking hot during the Helmsley era as well.

    NHL 2006 Off-Season...

Understatement of the year. I agree with the remainder of what you said as well, EMHE. There's a difference between a power forward and a grinder. Tanguay is going to fit like a glove with Iginla.

    Your Dream Shows Gapping Generations

^ Currently leads the way of a show I'd pay to see.

    State Your Unpopular Opinions

Omar, I agreed with the majority of what you said. That is, until you dropped the ball by saying: You're right, it wasn't great. But Katie Vick bailed it out? MY markdom aside, that manages to trump the drop-jawed reaction I got from your saying Bret's anti-American gimmick was the worst ever. So Ludvig Borga was a better heel than Bret? Nikolai Volkoff? General Adnan?

Do they have HDMI multiple ports yet?

So what would happen were I to put an HD DVD in a standard or HDMI DVD? Would it simply not read?

    NHL 2006 Off-Season...

I'd love to see Savard back in Calgary, and it's a lot more reasonable now that Calgary's a little more stable financially. Carter's a UFA, if I'm not mistaken.

    Decent Wrestling T-Shirts

I'm still wearing my Lance Storm T from '99. And I still have my EC FN W shirts, which I wore faithfully, up to and including ONS. EDIT: I'm also in the works to buy my buddies old Sandman "Drunk 24:7" shirt, which his girlfriend wore into the Wal*Mart Electronics I work at (Electronics Coalition of Wal*Mart, we call it) the day of ONS '05...while Enter Sandman was playing on the radio.

    Best pitchmen

I posted this in the "Funniest Wrestling Lines". About a month after the commercial aired, D-Lo hit someone with a phoen during a hardcore match and proceeded to bark "I told you you could savea bundle using 1-800-Collect, fool!"

    NHL 2006 Off-Season...

I don't see Rutherford doing that. I was floored when I came home to see all this news (I was out of the house from 7 am to 1 am today). -Im intrigued by the Demitra deal. O'Sullivan has boatloads of potential. Don Cherry, although pretty lax with his superlatives, once called him the best junior play in the world. A line with Demitra and Gaborik could be scary. -Nice to see Iginla get some help with Tanguay. Conroy has always been underrated, and this proves it. - All the goalies on the market, and Raycroft is their choice? I'm a little guilty of playing fantasy hockey here, but come on. He does have some credentials, but it still seems like a gamble. For all the talk of the Leafs only ever trading away for players with higher mileage, a goaltender is one time you might be able to get away with it, especially with some youth in Pogge. What happens to Telqvist? It seems to me he did alright last year in the starter's role and won't want to backup. -Max, how comfortable are you with Toivenen now as your starter? And nskie's been quiet for a while, since I'm getting a B's fan opinion. - Yes, I know, tease me all you want for what I'm about to say, I've preached it before: When first heard of the Stars/Thrash trade, I read it as "Dallas gets Savard(UFA, by the way) and wrote off the Thrashers this year.

How do you feel about Iraq?

I ultimately chose option 3, but, as the first post eluded to, it's not a very cut and dry issue. I thought somewhere between options 2 and 3, being a thorny issue on either side.

    Weird Former ECW Alumni

If you're referring to my previous statement on the first page, I was horribly, horribly wrong.

    Pictures I Like

Surely there was a more hatable character on Full House. However, Irene Sorkin wasn't that bad, so fair enough.

    Strange food combinations you like

We had these on tacos the other night. It was a nice compliment when spread out evenly on the shell, a little asier than sour cream, which I don't care for. King, don't eat anything for about 18 hours before poutine. It's harsh on your heart, but very good, and very filling.

    Guitar players

News to me as well. And with KKK being white? I'm still digesting that one. I've never been one for he flying V, actually. I've always found it difficult to keep steady, although I'm not known for my patience. A yard sale Bentley acoustic and an Ibanez R7.

    NHL 2006 Off-Season...

This is an absolute win for Vancouver. A bit of a headache is solved with Big Bert gone, about 2 mil in salary is cleared from Bert's monster paycheque. They can shop for a good power forward to replace him with they money the save. Krajciek is about equal to Allen IMO, so maybe pick up a prospect. Use the saved money to get a good power forward. Did I mention that the Canucks now have one of the league's three best goalies? But not a total loss for Vancouver. The change of address did well for Heatley, who's to say it won't here? And while it seems kinda down for Florida, Auld does have potential, and Keenan and Dudley do know what they're doing.
