    Planning a road trip

Toronto is a great city. Niagara Falls, about 150 kilometres away, is a great tourist town, with lots of do. There's a tonne of history in Fort Erie/Ridgeway/Crystal Beach(though it's hicktown now) about 25 kilometres past that. The drive is boring as fuck, but Niagara Falls is great. Czech, I'm a touch scared you know to such precision where Baron and I live. He's in Muskoka for the summer, howveer.

    NHL 2006 Playoffs thread...

The fuck happened? I was getting laid (against my wishes, mind you) from about two to play in the second until just now, I didn't see any of this. 5-3? All comes off in the wash, I guess, but god damn.

*bites tongue on black joke. This has been a very entertaining game. Lots of emotion.

    NHL 2006 Playoffs thread...

There's been a lot of talk about Edmonton taking bad penalties. Well, Niedermayer just took a penalty in his own end five seconds into. This puts the Ducks at 2-32 for the playoffs on the man advantage. Sit and think about how awful that is for a second. On the plus side, Saddam's "We found him" beard has nothing on the scruff that Niedermayer is currently sporting.

    Short songs

All I want was my first thought. We might need a separate list for non-punk bands. Anyone ever hear Music is like Beer by the Dave Brockie experience?

    Best/Worst

Wasn't that his actual name for a while? I was all over that one at first too. Cyrus' "Ayatollah of Rock and Bowla" was so bad it was good.

    Potatoes

Beef specifically chopped for stewing is readily available. If you have a Crockpot and ten minutes before you leave for work to do a little prep, Special K has given you gold.

Going To See Mick Foley On Saturday

Like a pornograhy store, I'd have never thought of that. Good call.

OAO 5/22/06 Raw Thread in SIN CITY

I'm late as Raw was on about a 75 minute tape delay from hockey in Canada. - I shouldn't be, but I'm more entertained by Armando Alejandro Estrada every week. - Leena is exactly right(not just her, these sentiments have been echoed). Five nobodies could easily do the Spirit Squad's job. (See the short-lived X-Factor stable). -Mickie is among my top 5 most beautiful women. -Enough. Pull the trigger on the DX Reunion already. Theyve been teasing it for what, eight weeks now? (Altough, and this has been discussed on here, they should make it an Evolution reunion, HBK's God love trumps DX) On the flip side, that Triple H chant was kinda surreal. - Im excited for One Night Stand. I'm less excited than I was a week ago. Two full fledged WWE'rs are the best case Vince is making for fans to order this show. -The new ECW will flop unless it's a separate entity. Fuck that "Heyman has day-to-day decision rights" nonsense. That's like a 14 year old saying he owns a house because his parents went away for the weekend. As you often do NoCalMike, nail on the head.

*gulps You're right, come to think of it. The Toronto Sun will be calling you tomorrow treble, offering you a job as their hockey expert. Yes, I realise you were kidding.

The only time I ever got caught cheating in school

I was going to say "Not that I can remember, really." I was sure I had, but didn't remember any specific examples. Until I saw Czech's avatar. Lori Farnsworth wouldn't let me copy from her English test in grade four. She was appalled by my leering eyes. I cant believe I recalled that, as I remember maybe three names from that year.

Fuck, now I have the Mountie's theme in my head. You can try to run. But you can never hide. The Mountie always gets his man.

    NHL 2006 Playoffs thread...

I'm playing fantasy hockey at best here, but: Lecavalier has expressed wanting to play in Montreal before. Montreal may have two legit starters in net, (and a WHL MVP in Hamilton), one of which Tampa could use. Montreal also has 3 million in cap room from the Theodore trade. Aebischer/Zednik for Lecavalier/Dingman and a pick would thrill me. Zednik has to step up(havent I said that before?) and Dingman would continue to remedy the problem of the Habs' size up front.

I'll be humming that for at least a week. Beats having the Mountie's theme in my head.

In case any Oil fans were in need of some more confidence: The last time Anaheim won in Edmonton, the greatest concern of Edmontonians was the looming threat of Y2K.

    The Old School questions thread

What? What? Um, what is the story behind Austin's doing this, and the fact we're still hearing it today? I got a 45 second video package off Limewire with him just saying it repeatedly, as well as one of my favourite Vince lines ever "I HATE THAT WORD, AUSTIN!". He's also talking down to Hugh Morrus, but I still haven't been able to make heads or tails of this. Fill me in?

    NHL 2006 Playoffs thread...

Anaheim looked far superior for my money, mostly because of some questionable (and silly) penalties by the Oil. It all comes out in the wash, 3-1 Oilers.
  25. That old school sig Slayer posted gets the nod, but anyone remember the Real W C W?
