Pun not intended...this is a sticky situation all around. If they wasted the same thing more than once, well then, I say the restaurant's right.

Better Angle: NWO or Austin/McMahan
CanadianGuitarist replied to slabinskia's topic in General Wrestling
While Austin-McMahon was a good angle, it did more to showcase the good undercard angles the WWF had at the time. NWO in a walk. -
Smues, your avatar is the every definiton of old school. I have a few questions re: saves. What exacly is the criterium? Isnt it no more than 1-2/3 innings pitched, no earned runs, lead of less than three runs preserved?

Pronger has got HEAT in San Jose. He's getting booed like Big E in Montreal. 2-1 Sharks late.

NHL Awards: Calder: Ovechkin...but only slightly over the two of them. Selke: Brind'Amour Hart: Thornton. No two ways about this one. Adams: Ruff. This was a tough one. Norris: Niedermayer...no love for Chara, Redden or Visnovsky? Pearson: Jagr had a better season per se than Thornton. But Thornton did more for his team, thus the Hart nod. Vezina: Kipper. A northwest crown despite a less than stellar season by Iginla.

Against San Jose, you're gonna need scoring, especially with a fairly untested playoff goalie. But, they did score four goals more than once agains Detroit, no reason why it can't happen again.
-
I'll get the ball rolling: Edmonton in six. Colorado in five. (Curtis Joseph may be waiting by the phone for 1997 to call). Ottawa in five. New Jersey in 4.

Since I didn't see a "comments that dont warrant..." I know have a Bret Hart skull tattooed on my left arm. Upon seeing this at the WWF Niagara Falls store Sunday night, a 10 year old asked me, a bearded 21 year old if I planned on being a wrestler when I grew up. That is all. EDIT: No, that's not all. Was the Honky Tonk Man really singing his entrance theme? It sounds like him but watching a few clips of him frwom WM 13 and RR2001, he sounded very nervous and not himself.

Ok, since my playoff pool fizzled, with no less than HALF the participants leaving the area, I decided to tally our picks up. Going on the basis of 1 point for correctly picking the team and a bonus half-point for picking the required # of games: T1) BPS21 - 7 T1) TakerHart - 7 T3) Nskie -6.5 T3) Red Baron - 6.5 T5) CanadianGuitarist -5.5 T5) CanadianChris -5.5 T5) EHME- 5.5 T5) Kingofthe909- 5.5 T9) Treble - 5 T9) max- 5 (a compromised 1.5 point, having mixed up two matchups in the east) 11) Mike546 - 4 12) HockeyFan - 2 Not one person picked Edmonton. Undertaker Hart had Anaheim in 7, and BPS took 5.5/6 in his east picks. Discuss.

And that's that. Flames out, Ducks move on.

I'd have called you a bevy of names until Clarke stood up for Quinn last week. On paper, that's a pretty fuckin tough choice, isn't it? Forsberg or Hitchcock? Bryzagalov is starting in a bit of a surpise. But I'm looking for Iginla to have, without exagerating, somewhere around ten shots. Fun fact just displayed on screen. The last time the Flames won a game 7 at home was 1989.

Since I've got the time, and more finger pointing is just what this thread needs, I'll keep tabs on all the predictions after tonight's game is complete.

It's true. It's damn true.

Buffalo needs to ride the momentum of coming back from what every analyst alive was calling "A series turning goal" in game 3, then winning BIG. But other than that, Ottawa is a very, very, very complete team.
-
Take your pick of the expletives on my mind. So who's the team to beat now in the East? Buffalo's hot, Cam Ward looks unflappable behind a solid Canes team. And New Jersey's won FIFTEEN IN A ROW! And I didn't even mention the Sens.
-
Isn't that basically how Billy Smith became the first goalie to score, come to think of it? Rob Ramage was somehow involved on the play, too.
-
I suppose a lot of it could have depended on the circumstance in which it was mentioned, which I don't vividly remember.

I have a question, one thing I've never understood.. I've heard alot through the playoffs(and these are examples) that if BrindaMour is the reciepent of a delayed penalty, and Habs Kovalev still has puck possession. Why is it better for Kovalev to try and give the puck to Justin Williams and get the penalty started right away? I mean, there's still gonna be a man advantage when Huet heads toward the bench, right? I can't get over how great Jim Hughson is.
-
It's getting ugly. Fuck, I'd have to quit my job at Wal*Mart if Buffalo keeps it up. That place is stocked with Sabres fanboys.
-
It's time for Kovalev to step up. He's the best player on paper in this series, and that's underllined with Koivu being out. This is gonna be great. It's FUCKING LOUD at Bell, especially with Koivu in attendance.

Not eight days ago, I told my dad that it could be the 83 Wings on the ice, the Oilers would not be winning. I couldn't be more prouyd to say I was wrong. On second thought, this was the best period of hockey I remember this year. Id have been going to bed happy either way. But more happier this way

Habs lose. Sabres win. Cena wins. Jesus Christ, I was ridiculously nice to customers this weekend at work; where'd the bad karma from? Shake it off tomorrow for the Alberta games, I hope. Rexall's gonna be nuts.

Regional Differences In Fast Food Joints
CanadianGuitarist replied to alfdogg's topic in Food Folder
Fact. Value menu's not bad by any means, but a Big Mac for less than a twonie on Tuesdays will be missed. -
My first instinct upon this news was a Golf Digest article from 2002, when Michelle Wie was essentially unknown. The headline read : WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEE! Bad name, but fun to say. < Revolution, but still.
