Has a show like that ever been done, with all of one kind of gimmick match? That seems like it's be tough to watch after a while. And fuck the World X Cup sounds sweet.

Dean Malenko's time in the WWF as an active wrestler

Here's one I've been meaning to ask for a while: Why did it go from Taka Michinoku to TAKA? I remember it being TAKA Michinoku ( a combo of both, if you will) in the aforementioned SD 2 for PS1. It seemed like immediately upon the release of said game, TAKA was commonplace. Fill me in? By the way, Baron was sooooooo there. But no pics to my knowledge. -

*perusing through album* Why do you look like David Cross? God fucking dammit, I argued about that every day this past summer at a previous job. In hindsight, the little bitch was right, but who wouldn't defend themselves against a being compared to a guy who could blow himself? Incidentally, a guy came out drinking with that night, who reminds me and Red Baron of Czech. Though it's yet to find it's way to photobucket, Baron took the liberty of futher Czeching it. I'll soon post it. Also, I recalled last night how much I loved the theme Malenko used in PS1's Smackdown 2: KYR, if that helps at all. His video of all the compliments that start with "MALE" I thought was pretty cool as well. -

Need a bet settled: I work with a guy in the ECW (Electronics Coalition of Walmart) who claims the theme music of the Quebecers was the same the Mountie, but with "We're the" replacing "I'm the". I disagree. Help.

Wait....you're WHITE? This was discussed in L,S,D last week. I know, eh? Huge surprise. The Mr. Derp reference was gold.

My drunken attempt at the worm. That's all I can contribute to this thread. -
As well it should. It's a fantastic game, and is exactly what "Next-Gen" gaming is about. Damn near flawless. Yeah it's pretty damn awesome. Once some people I know (such as fellow board members) get online with it, I'm going to try online. I'm not great at it, so I'll probably get reamed. And "hyper-realism" mode is brutal. COD2 on "Veteran" status, with all the Germans suddenly turned into sharpshooters who specialize in one hit kills. I couldn't even make it out of the first mission. It takes time and practise and patience. Go through it beforehand quickly on rookie to learn where they pop out from.

I can't believe no one pointed out the owner's name is Charles Wang. Bad arena or not, thats terrible.

I believe youu were indirectly thinking of the not-so-aptly named Barry White. Anyone remember the band Unwritten Law? They had 2 singles in 2002. One was "Up all Night". The other I dont remember, but I seem to think it was like Chevelle's The Red. Fill me in?

FUCK! Of all the times to blow a lead from my perspective, they do it to a team hot on my heels? Come to think of, it with Anaheim tied late and Edmonton losing, this was an awful day for the Canadian teams. Is it just me, or were there a lot of games for a Sunday today?

Look at all these cool albums that came out in 1999

Incidentally, what was the big thing that was supposed to happen when the sixth card dealie happened? -
We've of course, repeatedly, heard JR refer to Ric Flair as a 16 time champion, or HHH as a 10 time champion. Is there an accepted definition to the IWC of what counts as a heavyweight title? To the WWE? I would think the accepted criteria would be : WWE/F, WCW/World Heavyweight, NWA, AWA, and ECW. Is there such a status, or is this just kind of thinking out loud on my part?
-
Keeping in mind I never really watched WCW, what was so terrible about Russo? I mean, he was at the helm of WWF during the summers of 97 and 98, right?
-
Is this what you're looking for? That was esentially it, sans the Canadian backdrop. Although I also have my avatar and an additional maple leaf as tattoos, so maybe a third isnt necessary.

Twoo things crossed my mind: One, who couldnt kick Yanni's ass? Two, it's probably a work, since Yanni hasn't been heard from in a while. I still haven't forgiven Jim Nantz for pandering to him a few years ago on a golf telecast.

Even with Samsonov, the winner is Carolina, I'm sorry. I still don't have enough fait in Roloson to trump the acquisition of Recchi. Maybe the Habs FINALLY have a policeman. They didn't with Dowd, or Odjick, but let's hope this one sticks.

Phone call with my dad yesterday: Me: "God damn unions. This is gonna fuck my buddy Scuba over" Him: "Yeah, I don't have much pity for them. Took away our hockey last winter, it'll be a while before I can pity em. That's where you went to school, how much teaching actually took place?" M: "Well, the co-ordinators of my program were there a lot, maybe 35-40 a week. But of the eight or ten teachers I had throught college, I'd say well more than half were there maybe 25 a week, if that. But two were there 40 a week H: "That's what a person is SUPPOSED to work in a week!"

I remember Razor using a modified urinage, not so much a chokeslam. It's spelt urinaji, I don't care what you say. Anyone know where I can find a logo of the 97 Hart Foundation? I'd love the Hart logo as a tattoo, but I recall the same logo with a maple leaf backdrop, which would be even better. I'm not imaginging this, am I?

Begs to differ. It won't be huge, but its certainly not bad. I just saw the score, none of the game. Certainly not upset, but the fuck?

The Great American Ballpark is actually the only ballpark I've ever been to, and it was great, not just because my ex and I were all over each o ther after a 3 month hiuatus(*long distance). Got to see Barry Bonds hit a homerun, which is something I'll always remember. I'm looking forward to opening day, my first time at the Rogers Centre/Skydome. Looking forward to seeing the Bosox come to town April 23. Looking forward to Bonds chasing history. Hoping he gets maimed somehow as well, scumfuck. My brother asked me about two days into the World Series if I missed baseball yet. We both agreed yes, not the game itself, just the routine of coming home at mdinite and asking who won. The upcoming 360 MLB game and the WBC are making it all the more exciting.

Im still not sure how I feel about Aebischer to the Habs...Huet's playing fairly well, Theodore has to bounce back sooner or later...Is Aebischer that much more playoff proven? I'm not denying his talent, but Theodore was REVERED in Montreal as recently as six months ago. The issue, I think, is one more stud defenceman. Even if it works out well for the Habs...Somerthing doesnt sit well with us trading a goalie to Denver.... So what, Milbuiry needed to cement his "ahem" legacy with one more bad trade? Tsn.ca mentioned in the report on Parrish moving west that Parrish came to Long Island for, get this, Luongo AND Jokinnen. There's no way I'm not calling in sick tomorrow.

Yes and no.There's probably 15-20 regular Canadian posters on this board, but a CFL Off-season thread is pretty unheard of. Sorry.

Wilbon described him on PTI as an 'upbeat, pleasant guy, the face of baseball during the early 90's" RIP Kirby.

The Sabres do it again, 3-2. Sorry Nskie. And god dammit, the Habs spend longer in the penalty box than I can last in bed, and it's a 5-3 Leafs win. Wanting all 6 Canuck teams in the playoffs as I do, this is good in principle but bad in practise.
