How could ya not like "Mr. Hole in One" Barry Darsow?!? Making Barry Horowitz try to put his way to victory was gold. Horowitz: I can't put w/ that! I'm left-handed. Darsow: THEN YA SHOULDA BROUGHT YOUR OWN CLUBS!!! So I'm not the only one who liked the so called Stewart Payne? Along with Repo Man, I'm a huge Darsow mark.

Carlito Getting Into The MITB match?
CanadianGuitarist replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Is there a forseeable way, other than the RVD scenario desricbed in the ONS thread, to have the MITB play out differently than it did last year (immediately taking the title after the champ is fallen)? Other than that, I don't see how a MITB shot can be used differently than an ordinary, four TV show build-up PPV shot. -
I'm also very excited for Paperboy.

We do? That question wasn't exclusively meant for NSkie, Max. By all means, you can answer it too....I've heard Raycroft kicked around, but it just seems weird to hear the defending Calder winner as trade bait. By the way, what's everyone's pick for Calder thus far? I'm still saying Svatos over Ovechkin and Phaneuf.

You might get your wish Nskie, with eight place Montreal earning 12 of a possible 14 points over it's last seven, and upcoming games against the Cats, Leafs and Bolts. Every team south of eighth will be pulling for the Bolts Saturday, as a Habs win will basically solidify them as buyers come next Thursday. Play a quick game of Fantasy GM with me, Nskie. I'll be Gainey, you be MoC. Please don't kill yourself or most of your team. Whom would be shopped around next week? Say Bonk and cash for Gill, or a pick and a prospect for(insert here). Not that I'm expecting a trade between Montreal-Boston, for any two teams in the same division anywhere in the league for that matter.

Who's the best poster on Leena's ignore list?
CanadianGuitarist replied to Hoff's topic in No Holds Barred
Later, it's too early. Despite my half-assed defence of you in 'let's right this ship', fuck you. It's never to early to start drinking. In all seriousness, what happens when someone on your ignore posts? Will it simply not show up, or, say, a blank post that says "you have ignored this poster" or something to that effect? -
Okay, let's right this ship.
CanadianGuitarist replied to The Czech Republic's topic in No Holds Barred
Baron's over now, actually. We're both surprised we got mentioned, we thought we were under the radar posters. And Holyfield's Missing Ear should have gotten done, as him > me. Or maybe it's < me. Still. Why aren't people jumping to the top of the rank: "Do me next! do me next!" -
Carlito Getting Into The MITB match?

This has stopped them before? -
6-0 Florida after 2. 5-2 Capitals after 2. Three unanswered, including a shorthanded by Mike Pettinger. Olympic break taking its toll, mayhaps?

Some big black guy hitting running big boot on some mexican dude he hated.

Anyone else remember an episode of Shotgun in Novemberish 97, where they were still fall guys, but had a hell of a match against, brace yourself, the Truth Commision? There was even a Hardy chant, and they were full-fledged jobbers at this point.

It's not a run away, but The theme to Where In Time... > Where In The World Come on, apart from Ducktales/Darkwing Duck, which still tie for #1, "We're on the case and we're chasing her through history" was as catchy as TV themes get. I still mark for Greg Lee though.

Primeau's out for the season, thescore reports. And Cale Hulse has been traded to Calgary.

How is Arnason for Antropov(which I don't see happening) effect Montreal? Arnason is quietly good, but not at his full potential, so both of those disqualify him in Hogtown, whose brass seem to love Antropov for some reaosn.

He was 83?!? He sure didn't look it. RIP Mr. Mcgavin.

Bret Hart farewell speech? Come on, I can't miss that, regardless of what TNA has planned.

Fuck Ken Williams I just saw this on PTI. That was unbelievable, right or wrong, thats a pretty ballsy way to talk about one of the best players of our generation.

What did he do. *Reads quote, sees avatar. *Head explodes I'll catch the replay tonight at midnight. Raw very seldom satiates my wrestling appetite, and Jannetty kissing a 60 year old's ass will hardly alleviate that problem. Sorry to come off as a fan boy.

^ In Soviet Union, thread bumps you. We're quietly only 10 days away from the trade deadline. Should be very interesting this year, with so many teams on the playoff bubble, and so many usual playoff pretenders performing well. Big week to determine who goes where.

I went to a catholic school as well, but in Canada catholic school's arent was strict as they are in America. Canada the only thing different between catholic school and public school is that there is an extra course required where you learn religion, and on religious days you go to church for a period. Other than that it's nothing. No dress code or anything like that. *Went to a Catholic high school, where dress code was enforced. But you essentially hit the nail on the head.

Ever gotten bad service or bad treatment at a business...
CanadianGuitarist replied to Damaramu's topic in General Chat
I'm gonna side with KKK here, and the others, who said not to say/do anything until food has arrived. Also, KKK, what's Steak n Shake? Like, I get the jist of it, but is it fast food? Casual? How bad could any place that serves steak and milkshakes be, despite the bad service you described? On the opposite end of the spectrum, the caterer I used to work for ran his show out of a restaurant, which he also owned. I was bussing tables one night. The restaurant was basically empty, 15 minutes or so before closing, except for one table in the smoking section upstairs, and one table downstairs, where I was bussing. I had a bus tray in one arm and a bunch of rolled up forks/knives in napkins in my right. I cleared off one table using a sweeping motion with my arm, at the same time setting a new roll of fork/knife down. Not so! Upon setting new roll down, I wound up spilling the new for onto the floor. The clank got the attention of the guy sitting downstairs, so I blatantly looked at him while putting the fork I just spilled into the bus tray and putting a new one on the table. He gives me a disgusted look, and proceeds to tell our hostess he'll never eat her again. Hostess told me this, but told me I was right. In a fun sidenote, restaurant went under one month later. I like to say it's because I left one week after the above incident, but meh. -
C'mon Tommy Soderstrom??? He was good for a shitty Islanders team. He was good for about 90 minutes. Hockey time, not real time, I'll be fair. What ever happened to him? He kinda signed up for the Jim Carey "Lots of talent but I'll disappear soon" plan.

Sunny admits that she slept with Shawn Micheals

Lex Luger's been in the business for a long time. I wouldn't want him in a creative role. He could be alright in a creative role. Then again, maybe he couldn't. I DONNNNNNNN'T KNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! -

A girl I work with was telling me about her husband, who's a kitchen manager at a Perkins. A woman ordered a vegetarian omelette. He had accidentally made it with ham before frying it. He managed to get all but one piece of ham off it, which was on the outer side of the omelette as it was served. When said woman approached the restaurant manager, RM asked how long the customer'd been a vegetarian. She said five years, and the manager replied "Well, then you're probably due for a slip-up".
