Who was Brakkus? Anyone of note? -
Congrats, I guess. More interestingly, regarding your signature: The fuck? Also, your Dibiase avatar > sex

Most forgettable stint in a promotion

He could be better remembered for ending Kurt Angle's undefeated streak. Rarely mentioned, unfortunately. What did Chris Daniels do in ECW? Lita, also was in ECW for a while in '00. -
Except Toronto usually sucks against Ottawa in the regular season (2003-04 being the exception). Oh, my bad. They could be the Toronto to our Ottawa?

An scary win for Canada with a third period mini-collapse. By all accounts, Finland is making the favoured Yankees a bit worried. I'm really looking forward to Saturday. Two hours of TNA, a Canada-US hockey game and a New Year's bender? THis could be gravy.

I'll grant you about Johnny Miller, who seems to be beloved, even though I don't care for him. He's just an idiot, sometimes. Anyone remember when he said Craig Parry's swing would make Ben Hogan puke? Parry, by the way, holed out from 185 yards to win a tournament 10 minutes later. I have to admit, though, I never heard his radio show, and maybe I wouldnt hate him as much having heard it. HABS WIN ON THE ROAD! For the first time since, what, 1996? History may prove me wrong, but I've always found them to play pretty well against Tampa in the regular season. They could be the Ottawa to our Toronto.

Dutch Mantell as Uncle Zebekiah in 95 WWF. Super Calo and Fred Dirst in 99/'00 ECW. -
My brother and I both agree we had no business liking "Don't Phunk With My Heart".

There's your answer. He's, by far, hockey's most slanted, annoying colour man. Watch the Juniors during any Canadian game, you'll notice it.

The way I see it the big power boost, which is definitely what the Jays needed, more than makes up for the slight downgrade from Hudson to Hill. But if they could have traded Hinske, they would have. They've been trying to get rid of him for awhile now. Even before this deal Hinske was going to be riding the pine if they couldn't unload him. Can Glaus or Hillenbrand play OF at all? I wouldn't miss Hinske whatsoever. Christ, he NEVER swings the god damned bat, and while, this isn't his fault, the expectations have been way to high based on his fantastic rookie year.

Can someone tell me about Glaus, and alleviate my worries of giving up Hudson and Batista for him?

I always preferred BadNews Baseball, with actual major leaue cities but fake players, all of whom only had one name.

There was also the 'Go around the table and tell everyone your grievances' tradition. A Festivus for the rest of us!

I'll agree to that. He never said they were a better team than the actual Team Canada, but they could at least stay competitive.

I agree with you, but TIME basically pissed all over that by not making Bin Laden person of the year in 2001. Making "The American Soldier" person of the year last year was pretty lame as well. Al Franken made an interesting point: Somewhere, bin Laden is enraged at Bush for giving all this 9-11 based recognition to Saddam. And if Stalin, Khomeini and Hitler all got it, bin Laden certainly, um, deserved it. Who did get it in 2001, incidentally?

Cherry isn't as beloved by Canadians as you might think. I have to think most of Canada isn't as conservative as he is, and most Canadians are far more meek than that loudmouth.

Despite, my, *ahem* being a hippie, I vote for A. Atlanta at Tampa Bay (3.5) Buffalo at Cincinnati (14.5) Dallas at Carolina (5.5) Detroit at New Orleans (3.5) (6.5) Jacksonville at Houston N.Y. Giants at Washington (3.5) (7.5) Pittsburgh at Cleveland San Diego at Kansas City (1.5) San Francisco at St. Louis (9.5) This is the one, finally this year when I've picked em, that San Fran covers. Tennessee at Miami (5.5) Philadelphia at Arizona (1.5) Indianapolis at Seattle (0.5)-Even if it is by a half point, wow. Oakland at Denver (13.5) (6.5) Chicago at Green Bay Minnesota at Baltimore (2.5) (5.5) New England at N.Y. Jets St. Louis with 21 points, Good luck, all.

They probably did torture him. But that's not a bad thing. That's a good thing.

For shits and giggles, let's say all of the cereal mascots got in a giant battle royale: Two rules: 1) Any character ever, retired, dead or current. 2) Straight fighting, UFC style. Special powers or what have you, no dice. Lucky the Leprechaun is the greatest casualty. My pick has always been Tony, with Frankenboo a close second. Thoughts?
-
1) October 5, 2005. Take your pick. 2) Tiger's Final Round of the Masters was remarkably entertaining, even if I was drunk to shit during. 3) Agassi-Blake 4) Superbowl 39. 5) Tied between the finals of the Brier and the 18 inning Jays-Angels marathon in June.

Fuck me, but why isn't Roenick on it? God damn I hate him. He's said outright that he'll be rooting for Canada.

Can I get a review and the like of 2 player GM Mode? I'm pretty excited, but is there anything more to it than an EWR on ps2?

I'm told by a guy at work the kayfabe thing was a jet ski accident, but Hogan was actually punched by Savage.

Or failing that, have a giant Royal Rumble with all the world leaders. Suddenly, the West won't be looking down on the warlords who run third world countries any more....hmmm.
