You can, however, be bitter at Steve Begin who missed a ridiculously open net about halfway through the third. Though he did briefly rectify it with his goal to briefly take the lead. Hehe, rectify.

Arizona at Detroit (4.5) Baltimore at Jacksonville (7.5) Houston at Indianapolis (18.5) Kansas City at Buffalo (2.5) Minnesota at N.Y. Giants (9.5) (3.5) New England at Miami San Francisco at Chicago (13.5)- They simply have to cover one of the weeks I take them, even though I don't see them winning. (1.5) Washington at Tampa Bay (3.5) Denver at Oakland N.Y. Jets at Carolina (9.5) Green Bay at Atlanta (9.5) St. Louis at Seattle (6.5) Cleveland at Pittsburgh (8.5) Dallas at Philadelphia (2.5) St. Louis- 18 points Good luck, all. Man, I'm conflicted over the Dallas-Philly one.

This has not been a good year for the Republicans.
CanadianGuitarist replied to CBright7831's topic in Current Events
I want to say it was Lewis Black who eluded to this in a Maxim last December: This was the greatest chance for the Democrats ever last election, and they couldn't get it done. Kerry was just so iffy, how could you get b ehind a guy like that? Blackbasically said "Anyone but Kerry". Maybe it's wishful thinking being as leftist as I am, but I just can't imagine the Dems coming up with this bad a candidate. -
Two weeks before the Gomery results...

Well, even with Martin cleared, the CPC did have the lead for about 3 days. The Liberals have retaken it, and it's about where it was in June '04. 35-25-15 for Grits, PC and NDP. Fuck, I hope there's not an election. I still don't feel there'd be a change, it'd still be a Lib minority, but we don't need one. We still haven't seen this incarnation of the Grits in action, really, just lots of squablling. -
Yeah, but do you have any idea how fucking many Cheez-It's that would be if adjusted for inflation! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Do you think it'd be a lot of regular sized boxes, or one MONSTER box?

Do you mean Delay? I would add the Terri Schiavo debacle to the list. And Mess O Potamia. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> * doesn't hold anything against Republicans for Schiavo. She's in a better place now, isn't she? The fact they were trying to keep her alive is essentially moot. And I'm even one of the aforementioned hippy canucks. -
Worst excuse to get out of a job/angle?

This question hardly warrants a thread, and we didnt seem to have a CTDWAT like we do on every other board? Who the hell did Atlanta beat in the 92 LCS? I can picture Cabrera's slide into home, and I'll be more than happy to rundown the Jays lineup in the Fall Classic, but this has been bugging the piss out of me.

Favourite story from a Wrestlers book?
CanadianGuitarist replied to Fartsauce's topic in General Wrestling
Loved that one <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My buddy Matt, who's 22, has a little brother named Chris. He's 5 and 7 in the two incidents I'm about to tell. Anyone ever see the Clerks cartoons? Remember the 5th, where Dante has to call himself gay? Matt and I were watching that once, with Chris sitting there. Dante says, "yeah, I'm gay", Matt and I start laughing. Chris thinks that's a good thing, so he proceeded to tell everyone he was gay for the following two weeks. Also, Matt and I were once playing Halo 2 online, with a guy we'd never met but were thrown into a match with. His gamertag was Teabagger. We both thought the guy was awesome, and at one point, Matt screams "Yeah! Teabagger!" Chris also thinks this was a good thing, and for about 4 days told everyone that he was a teabagger. -

Bret Hart shouldn't be remembered for that, it's not like he'd been unprofessional his entire career. -
Or even had a different host altogether, like SS 94, with Monsoon replacing Lawler....is it that implausible to have say, Tod Grisham?

Ask Shelton Benjamin or Christian.

I'd willingly get a vasectomy to see Styles/Bret on Raw. But the ECW mark diidn't want me to see this.

Fuck, I'm stoked. If all 15 games Wednesday end in 0-0 ties, I'll still have an all day hard-on Thursday. General thoughts about the week ahead? I'm particularly intrigued by the Ottawa-Toronto matchup. Ottawa's always had the edge in the regular season, but Hasek's still a question mark. I'm calling for a monster season for Heatley, and I relaly think Ottawa's the team in the East. Just imagine the confidence they'll have from either beating Hogtown in the playoffs, or not having Hogtown around for April. While I'm getting ahead of myself, Wednesday is long overdue, welcomed with open arms, and should be a great preview of things to come.

Thank you. I love that song and had been looking everywhere for the title. (I've heard it a few times, I don't just find it catchy from the commercial snippet)

I had a book called The Top 10 Of Everything. It said Another One Bites The Dust was the most requested song at funerals.
-
That's actually another intersting point, accidentally. I think we're more likely to label a match as five stars if the characters are beloved as opposed to two nobodies.
-
Well, great storytelling results in more memorable matches, I'd say. Having said that, the ME of Wrestlemania's 3 and 20 were hardly stellar wrestling matches, but I remember them more than any other matches in history. So, I'm going to say a great pace, preferably a different style of wrestler(wrestlers), maybe a few spots, and some really close near-falls.

Ok, and this is kinda sucky, but any 3 songs on Wish You Were Here. But I guess I can get away with it, it's 5 songs in length: 1) Shine on I-IV 2) Welcome To The Machine 3) Have A Cigar 4) Wish You Were Here 5) Shine on VI-IX

I'm fearing it'll become a Senators-Leafs style thing, where Indy runs rampant in the season but can't get over the hump in the playoffs. God, I hope not. Manning's too good not to have a ring or four.

Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here: Shine on...Parts I-V Welcome to the Machine Have A Cigar Does it have to be tracks 1-2-3, or just 3 good consecutive songs? If so, the Hip's Up To Here: Blow at High Dough I'll Believe In You New Orleans Is Sinking If not, The Hip's In Violet Light 3,4,5: Darkest One It's A Good Life If You Don't Weaken Silverjet

I'm surprised we never got it on the commie 64. What he said. Mostly for pointless college year nostalgia, but honourable mention to the Mario Party series. I once tried to drunkenly hang myself at a party for dropping the ball at Leaf Leap.

Feel that, Cena's Writer? That's my breath on your neck. EDIT: That sounded kinda queer. But 4 in a row

Fantastic finish all around? One minute to go in the first in Mile High 160 yards for the Broncos. Four for the eagles.
