Really? I thought Cabrera slid, not that I'm calling you a liar. Maybe I don't remember it as well as I thought. -
Fair enough. But most of all, he's clearly within his rights to not stand. His rights as an American. I still don't agree with him not standing.
-
Granted, I don't agree with not standing for the Pledge as it is the respectful thing to do, but he is not required to do so. We've replaced the bleeding-heart liberal state with the conservative "you do what we say" state...I don't like either options to be honest. Either way they try to take our rights away. That being said, there are far worse things to worry about right now than just two words that really have no true meaning in the Pledge as they're said so much they lose that impact. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Two people who more or less agree with me Supremo. Stupid argument, my ass.

Incidentally, *ahem* Billy the Stud, who's that in the sig? Not HHH...he looks like both Theodore Long and PeeWee Herman.
-
I'm actually conflicted over him being called 'UnAmerican'. He's actually a greater American for refusing to stand. While it was, at best, semi dis-respectful to refuse to stand, at the same time, he did exercise his right as an American. Isn't the whole idea of America based on the right to choose? Look how often the Constitution refers to freedom of expression and what have you. Having said that, don't cry, it's only teenage wasteland for this guy.
-
I think with you should expect is Theodore allowing 3 or 4 goals on 16 shots as usual. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And you're from Montreal? Now THAT's disechanted.
-
I'm in your boat as well. Luckily, it hasn't done me in just yet. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hey, I really thought they'd win this one too For some reason. Nevertheless, I took this week's TSM Bearded Hippie matchup with NoCal.

There's waaaaaaaay to much going on here.
-
He's right. Mike was banned for a reason for Christ sake's, let's stop allowing him to find these loopholes.

In my experiences, it was usually the teenagers -- many of the adults showed up for work and were bitter about their lot in life. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's about right. The cynysicm of the colege kids at work is fairly overbearing. Anyone between the ages of 21-49 feels that they're far to good to work there.

What's DXM? I've put on 50 pounds since January from excessive drinking, the winter shoiuld be interesting.

Probably me. "That punt hit a Texan in the head! And now a penalty for illegal touching". Sounds about right.

There are presumably 100's of matches that we individually love that won't go down as classics, and more or less ar elikely forgotten, say Raw moments or PPV filler, I'm sure we all have a few. I always loved the 6 man elimination on Raw the night Austin interfered with the Zamboni. I can't even honestly remember all the participants, but Droz, Marc Mero, Edge and D-Lo Brown were involved. Also, Shamrock/Rock from WM14. Anyone else?

Even as a pro-choicer, Finch wins.

Why aren't any of them answering the bell?

The ECW mark in me still loves Rhino. And Sabu, but GORE!
-
Sabu looks about 50 years old.

I'm losing my TNA virginity as we speak. Monty Brown is really impressing me thus far, and the Serengeti is by far the best hometown I've ever heard. Who are America's Most Wanted?
-
Anyone else think Bunson was always a dick to Beaker?

What's everyone's thoughts on the Bills-Jets game tomorrow? Seems like that' s just about it for the losing team tomorrow. I work with a plethora of Bills fans who are brimming with confidence after last week's win, citing history and whatnot. On the other hand, Gandhi < Testaverde.

Game's been over for an hour, but no lining up per side among posters re: the Ottawa/Boston game? Wow. And Montreal loses a close one to the Toronto Ed Bel, er, Maple Leafs.

I am going to have to make a...aw, fuck it, but I agree. I think the much debated goal with the Stars, the NHL wants to kinda sweep that udner the rug. I remember him as a Blue more than anything else, if nothing else because of his hair and the sportswrite's walk in the park with the Hull and Oates pairing. "Blues are man-eaters" was im sure the headline in St. Louis every time they won.
-
I doubt they ever seriously considered giving it to him. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Then why the KotR title in the exact same match 3 months later? I thought they were priming him for it as well.

I voted for the NDP Party last June, after my shift at the Department of Redundancy Department was finished. Milky still fends off challengers in the best signature category.
