    Great wrestling quotes

I'd have to say Bret's 1997 heel turn, any of Foley's ECW promos, or anything by Jake Roberts. I also got goosebumps during Flair's promo before his HHH match in 2003.

WWE Reaction To TNA Commercials, Smackdown, more

I remember them as low as 0.8 and as high as 1.8, usually around 1.2 or 1.3.

The death of VHS is coming very shortly.

Those people have them, because Wal-Mart sells one for less than $40. By the way, those less than $40 players are the best DVD players I've owned. Those little bastards play everything. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp...3A62055%3A95987 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> In Fort Erie ECW(Electronics Coalition of Walmart) the only model VCR we sell is 60 bucks. No fewer than 3 DVD players sell for 59.97 or less. Fox, I'm told, will be no longer releasing new relaseses on tape as of January 2005. It could be MGM, not Fox. Also, our DVD Recorders start at 149, making them plenty affordable, when you consider how many people had to have a DVD player when they first came plentiful and were 200 bucks.

    WWF/E Tidbits from the past

As recently as November 2003, he was doing ring intros for indy feds.

    Toronto is fuckin' gangsta apparently

While I didn't click the link, this was on Hamilton's CH Talk Live call in TV show yesterday. I personally find it ironic, what with the Ti-Cats being 0-8.

You don't actually think that, do you Barron? I've beaten the dead horse that is defending Heatley enough.

    Favorite Rock Moment

I hate the Rock any time past 1999. Thus, the Nation-DX feuds of 98.

    Seether

Now come on, it's an obscure musical reference. Any band that can give props to Veruca Salt... Oh. Nevermind.

Indeed. I always wondered the same thing about Qatar.

    You mean Sandman/Foley?

    Shark vs. Octopus

Raise your hand if you disagree ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm torn between being retardedly offended and screaming BAM! in defence of NL.

That was my first thought, especially since "Thornton traded for Heatley" was a loading screen in EA's 2004. Especially ironic, is that the two were traded as cover boys for the title. 1) Brodeur 2) Luongo 3) Khabibulin 4) Theodore 5) Turco

Falls isn't bad. I live in a seedier area of town, and it's pretty safe.

Pulled a Yashin? Did you see his statement to Atlanta fans? Go to tsn.ca, since obviously you haven't. That's not pulling a Yashin whatsoever. And I'm not gonna defend Kovalchuk, as he's an arrogant, smug prick. Hossa is at least, capable of playing with semi-heart. It doesn't matter what country you come from, Heatley is a gritty warrior. He's been through tremendous adversity in the last 18 months and is as purely talented as just about anyone in hockey today. You'll also recall he was born in Koln, Germany. It's impressive that you have been able to be a dumbass and a smartass simultaneously.

Don't forget Marc Savard has average a PPG over the last three seasons. But playing on a powerplay with Kovalchuk and Heatley(and Iginla and Conroy, briefly) will do that. Hossa is a great player, but he really doesn't have much to help him in Hotlanta.

    Shark vs. Octopus

While it may not count being cold blooded, I'll take a crocodilian over either two of those fuckasses any day, save the Great White.

Summerslam 98? It was a one fall, regular match.

    Fatwa issued by radical cleric

I'm sure Mike_Sc has labelled him a dangerous dictator by now. There's a reason it's called the 'right', not the 'correct'.

Not that you weren't right Y2Jerk, but do you really need to reference yourself in your signature?

    WWE Plug In Games

One of my fellow ECW(Electronic Coalition of Walmart) employees and I blew a gasket upon seeing these things. Then we realised how bad they probably were, especially considering we both have No Mercy at our disposal.

I disagree, this is a pretty even trade. It's easy to forget how good a player Hossa is, but Heatley will fit into Ottawa like the pants of a man with five penises.( to anyone who knows that I hacked this from) DeVries will be missed in Ottawa, but the Sens are lucky that Phillips didn't leave town. This also clears up some room for Chara and Redden to re-sign. Also, the trouble in this for Atlanta is that I recall Kovalchuk basically refusing to sign if Heatley wouldn't do likewise. Both teams benefit, assuming Kovalchuk re-signs.
