I'm saying Buffalo. Don't know why, just think it.

The most hated heel and most loved face
CanadianGuitarist replied to zyn081's topic in General Wrestling
Loved-Hogan WWF era, Austin summer 98, Rock Early 99. Hated-McMahon attitude era, and both Douglas and the Dudleys in ECW. -
Yeah. That's about all I got out of that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's all? You say 'that's all' if the same situation got you a cookie or something. A broad who screwed you when you're 7 years here junior is by no means a that's all.

Mis com by Bernie and Matsui. Tie game in bottom 6 in Arlington.

Red Baron can attest to my hockey knowledge. He tried to name all my McDonald's replica hockey trophies. I beat him to it, and he sounded an awful lot like Patrick Star singing the campfire song trying to catch up. 2004-Khaibulin 2003-Brodeur 2002-Hasek 2001-Roy 2000-Brodeur 1999-Belfour 1998/97-Osgood 1996-Roy 95-Broduer 94-Richter 93-Roy 92/91-Barasso 90-Fuhr 89-Vernon 88- Fuhr 87-Fuhr 86-Roy 85-Fuhr 84-Fuhr 83-80 Billy Smith 79-76- Dryden 75-74- Parent I think my point's been illustrated, and I know you were just teasing, so

Why does the Rock fear Paper? I'm probably gonna wind up with egg on my face for not knowing, but.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Rock paper scissors. Paper covers rock. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> *is retarded. I should have known that.

That's remarkably debatable. IMO, Aenima is far and away the best Tool album, and that's not selling short Opiate, Undertow and Laterallis.

Wrong. Hasek was Detroit's goalie in 02. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ah yes. Forgot all about that. I was plastered when I wrote it, to be fair.

If anything the numbers totally contradict your argument. In terms of both raw points and particularly points per ice time, Daniel is most definitely an effective 2nd line scorer, while Henrik is to a lesser extent. How many left wings in the NHL outscored Daniel Sedin last year? Answer: not very many. And even less did it with the sort of ice time he gets. He scored almost as many points as Rick Nash who gets worshipped despite producing under 60 points with massive ice time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> To be fair to Nash, he has exactly one other offensive weapon. David Vyborny. After that, Columbus relies on such luminaries as Brian Holzinger and Andrew Cassels. Should Nikolai Zherdev play to his potential, that's another player to watch. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Zherdev could be great. Sanderson and Cassels aren't all that rough, they could realistically get 15-20 a year. And they could have Crosby.

Jaleel White. He was great in Big Fat Liar playing himself. The awesome Paul Giamatti, playing the asshole agent, calls him Urkel and says he'll never work again. "I've got Urkel money!" And he drives away. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> YES! I swore I was the only human being who remmeberd that.

You mean 2002. Osgood was there while Detroit won him yet anotrher cup. Mike Gartner doesn't have one though, for shit's sake.

That's the best word play I've ever seen. As for the HI-C, I marked out, then got an erection over the mention of the ability to still get it. Fruit by the Foot, I just learned, is also still readily availble, and I bought a box of Dunkaroos last week.

That's not your nose, it's a false one. By which I mean, you're incorrect, My Friends is on their Best Of. Can anyone name the movie in question? This one won't last long.

The Lita one was pretty freakin clever.

Anyone see Hirschbeck's brutal call on Zaun in Toronto? He's had quite the career at Rogers Centre.
-
That sounds about right, but to be fair for Tiger, his 71 yesterday really opened the door. Today the field beat themselves.
-
Tiger just birdied and Olazabal and Monty made bogey. 4 shots with 6 to play. It's all Woods.
-
It's not that great. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Been to the National? That's the fucking Mecca of the male side of my family.

I disagree. Burke is by far the best GM in hockey, and made Vancouver a great team on and off the ice. Naslund, Morrison, Bertuzzi may very well have been hockey's best line, and the Sedins with (insert anyone here) made for a high octane second line. I found Vancouver to be probably the closest to being the best threat for a Canadian team to win Stanley's mug. A great mix of Canadian style, European style hockey, leaders, great locker room guys, rising young players, and a solid defence core. Cloutier was clearly the problem.

Though it's been overdone by this point, "the Guy Behind Me Can't See" was always good. This is a great topic idea, by the way.

I thought so too. Anyone else see the blatant irony? An anteater has a hardhat?

Khakis or nice shorts with a button up or golf shirt. I essentially wear solid colour shirts and solid colour pants/shorts everywhere. I basically wear the same clothes on a golf course that I would anywhere else.

Athough Tiger probably has it locked, there's a lot of potential for a pheomenal Sunday, with Singh nearby, and Els and Philly Mick, while not in contention really 8 back, are in decent position at T25. And how about Montgomerie? He's been written off since the 97 US, which he lost late to Els. Maybe he'll be more comfortable at the home of golf. Of course, the last time he played with Tiger on a Saturday in a major was the 97 Masters, where he played the weekend 75-81.
-
Probably not since he should have won the Vezina trophy the last NHL season. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why, exactly? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I wouldn't mind hearing more about this, as Brodeur has clearly been the best goalie in the league since Roy retired. Luongo deserved it more than Belfour as well.
