My ex was from Ohio. I liked it there. That's all I've got. As for the topic, I'm comfy in the Niagara region, maybe Victoria or Vancouver BC, or in the Maritimes. Having said that, I'm getting to Augusta, Georgia before I die.

A combination of more slump, less juice and better pitching. Sorry, I realise that won't exactly light a fire under the ass of this thread, but thats my two cents.

NHL-Poor New York Rangers- Rich I forsee bribery. The Cosby Show was set in the Big Apple. Every writer in North America has called him "The Crosby Show' at one point. Duffman has a bad feeling about this. And on the last post, does this mean the door's open for Bertuzzi again? The rest of the regular season and playoffs were punishment enough. Bring him back.

The circle of life is complete. Or something.

Thats a new one... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Everyone likes them. EVERYONE! As such, it's tough to listen to, he's got a point. I'm not one of these 'If the mainstream hates it, I love it' poseurs, but sometimes it's frustrating when everyone in the free world can sing Wrong Way ad nauseum.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}> In November 95, Michaels 'passed out' during the middle of a match, allegedly as a result from an Owen Hart enziguri the week previous. I vividly remember Vinny Mac saying 'Even Michael's opponent, Owen Hart(who had just been thrown out of the ring by HBK) stopped and was clearly concerned for HBK". Which added some belief to it. From what I've seen/heard/read about Owen, it was plausible. As for last night, the attack before the match was buy-able as a shoot,(even with Lita's awful acting). Once they hit the next commercial, I knew it was a work.

Not that I'm condoning the angle, as it was pretty borderline. Having said that, I didn't even really think of it as a connection to London when I saw it. With that in mind, it was taped before London, so I will cut the WWE a little slack.

Venison is nothing short of phnoomenal. It's a spicy kind of tender meat. It's tough to accurately describe.

Yep. Are you gonna argue with Hogan?

Wrestler who should have retired young
CanadianGuitarist replied to Epic Reine's topic in General Wrestling
I'm fuckin sick of Hogan making a 'one more match' comeback every week. -
If this story isn't fake, I dont know what is. Well, it may have happened, but to make a paper? come on.

You don't think Longview, Buddy Holly and Come out and Play are all by the same band, do you?

World Baseball Classic officially announced
CanadianGuitarist replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in Sports
It looks good on paper, but(and this could me ignorance on my behalf), the Olympics were pretty well AA ball. I realise that MLB wouldn't allow a lot of players to the Olympics, but it seems roughly the same. -
Should the U.S. pull out of Iraq immediately?
CanadianGuitarist replied to cbacon's topic in Current Events
Agreed. Sorry if this sounds shitty, but how many of us are afraid of our own shadows now? -
Go on... The rules of wrestling are pretty well reversed between Canuck and Yankee Fans.

You'll recall I said that on the first page. I win. Actually, this past weekend I worked my job at the casino from 3-1 Friday, Walmart 8-3 and Casino 5-2 on Saturday and then 8-3 Walmart Sunday. My solution? When I got home, I drank as much as I could as fast as I could. Six or seven beers in 45 minutes made me sleep heavier than fuck. And, I just recalled last night having a similar discussion with a friend of mine, when my ex and I broke up in March, she dumped me around 10 pm. I hit the bottle pretty hard, and was still up drinking when my brother got home around 3. He and I had a few drinks and I recall saying to him 'I'm pulling an all nighter, i gotta work at 7'. He said 'Heavy drinking, that's a good idea for an all nighter'. He was right, I passed out 10 minutes later, and without the aid of an alarm clock, got two hours sleep and woke up in time for work.

Actually, a guy at work and I were calling for it to be a swerve, and have Rey turn on Eddie, although I wasn't surprised when Eddie made the turn. They could have at least made the suspense last longer than a week.

A buddy of mine said he heard that Hogan chaperone's his daughter's dates. This of course, rules out the concept of bonking the Ms. Bollea, who is smoking hot. At the same time, you get to meet Hulk. We debated for a half hour and couldnt decide, so I'll leave it up to you: Let's say you have a date with Brooke and you two hit it off. Is Hulk being there good or bad?

Of all time. My nominees, though I cant quite pick: -Hockey night in Canada -Darkwing Duck -Knight Rider -Sanford and Son

I hope it struggles to draw big names. I might be in the minority, but I preferred it when the people that were competing in the Olympics weren't famous pros already. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Me too. But yep, we're in the minority.

Correction ... most of them are 14 but look 8. And I'd have no issues with new sports, as long as it's two of the following three: rugby, golf or karate. Fuck squash & "roller sports". <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm only worried about the new rash of "This now means my father can win an Olympic Medal, and trust me, he's no athlete" stand up jokes. As for golf, I can't see it drawing big names, certainly not in the summer, when the major tournaments are at their peak. Also, none of the big names play in golf's World Cup ever fall, so...

The one from May 96? I thought I was the only one who remember how good that match was.
-
Nope. You're right about the Dogs, but there's no legit tag teams anymore, which kinda trumps the copied style remark.

Beat me to it. I'm most impressed he managed to do it twice consecutively.
