I've begun looking at three places that I can technically afford. I'll probably wait until Christmas after all and eliminate my debt altogether instead of bringing it with me into a mortgage, however. I realise that all three likely won't be on the market in four months, but they're pretty prototypical of the houses in the area, so I'm not married to them yet. I'm seeing a vast difference in variable and fixed rates. Suggestions? A perk of the fixed is that TD is offering cashback with them, but if my list of furnishings and closing costs comes to about 6000, I can probably save that up on my own. On the other hand, a variable rate seems like a bit of a gamble. The variable rates appear about the same as they did in March, but, I'm not much of a forecaster on these things. I'm seeing a difference of $15-25k in pre-approval from variable to fixed.

What is "Winner Winner Chicken Dinner"? My friend Krissy and I were playing drunken skee-ball the other night. I let her win, and said that line. She asked what it was from. "St. Gabriel of Djibouti/Qatar's avatar" isn't really an answer. -
Sorry about the delay. I flew back to Niagara Saturday night, and have been at home for literally ten minutes until now. I'm on my folks computer right now, as my laptop is getting fixed up; thus, I have no access to the draft spreadsheet. Off the top of my head: *The Great Ones were the winner. This may not have been the case had EMHE's picks been submitted, and not given my 1/13 point penalty. *I had actually done the opposite for points: A first-place vote earned one point, a last-place earned 13. *The Great Ones, The Calgary Silly Nannies, and The Excitable Boys all earned first-place votes. (I think there's a few others, but again, this is off the top of my head). *The Calgary Silly Nannies, Five for Fighting, and The Excitable Boys all earned last-place votes. Yes, two teams earned votes at both ends of the scale. I don't recall if there were others that were voted last. *It was close between The Calgary Silly Nannies and Five For Fighting for last place. The penalty to EMHE may have given him the nod, but Joffrey Lupul was an extremely second-guessed pick. Like I said, I'll try and put up the official results and some scuttlebutt if the spreadsheet survives its trip to the doctor's, but, at the very least (and for those of you keeping score at home, this was the same pic used for VX when he won my avatar contest last December):

That's pretty well it, the 'hot food in hot month' rule applies. -

I think spelling 'honour' properly would be more of a tribute Plus, chili in August? You, sir, are a braver man than I. -
I pm'ed him to have his picks in by noon. He does not. I'll tally everything up, and, provided my packing and such gets done on time, will post the results before I fly home.

I had that for a while a few years ago. "Best of" is a stretch, but the Hogan-Warrior vs. Perfect-Genius was pretty good (and started the feud to WMVI), and I actually had a match from it in the matches draft: Rockers vs. the Hart Foundation.

In retrospect, I regret not contributing to the Dennis Green lines. -
I had mentioned this earlier, but my STB ran off DVI-HDMI, after a few weeks of component, and the only difference I noticed was less noise around text, on, say, a sports ticker. I will re-iterate how much better having one cable instead of five is, especially given how often I unplug my 360 and bring it somewhere with me. I sold my old 360 when I came out west, on the grounds that when I move back east, I would buy a new one with HDMI out. It turns out my timing was perfect. I had saved the HDD from my old 360, so I was able to buy one of the few Arcade bundles left, which are becoming pretty rare.

Stevie Y did it, too. Or it may have been Sylvain Lebevfre. The one of those two who didn't use it for a baptism showered with it.

By the way, on my draft chart, instead of reversing the points, I gave one point for a first-place pick, two points for second, etc. Thus, the team with the fewest points will be the winner. If EMHE doesn't have his picks in by Midnight tomorrow, he'll receive 13 points, and every other team will receive one on his behalf.
-
Everyone but EMHE has their picks in.

I think it should read: Fuck you, Bennigan's. You're dead. I'm incredibly liberal with commas, but I'm putting my foot down on this one.

No worries, I haven't even opened my HD DVD yet. I would have thought it only had one.
-
I agree, ultimately. Out of curiousity, why did you choose Bil and Thelma Keane as your examples?

Does anyone have Bob Barker? My buddy's MSN name is RIP Barker. When I saw it, I did a scan online, but found nothing. He got back to me about eight hours later; It turned out to be his hockey coach from when he was a kid, but claims his first name actually is Bob.

Anyone have Motorola Phone Tools? I'm cheap. Failing that, anyone have a recommendation for a free program? I just switched phones (as well as providers). My KRZR doesn't really feel like it's mine without photos of me drunk on it. "Grace, Too" is the ringtone, though. So I got that going for me. Which is nice. Anyone else look at Koodo, for that matter? That's who I switched to, I'm thrilled with them. They're opening up a retail store in St. Kitts, I'm furiously applying there. -
Will a USB hub work in a 360? I'd like to have both my HD DVD and the Scene It sensor plugged in simultaneously.

A love of TSM AND Hart Foundation Fan? Is this a drunken gimmick account of mine?
-
Yes, that and the baby. I know of one.

I don't mind Steelback, but I'll sleep with an ugly girl if it's last call. Steeler, on the other hand? Yecccccccccccccccccch. By the way, his name is Frank D'Angelo. How the hell did he rope Espo into those spots? I don't care if they're all geriatrics now, he has no place anywhere near those ex-players.
