I'm sorry for the delay, but here are my two picks. First, Foley-Funk vs. the New Age Outlaws from Wrestlemania 14 - dumpster match. Second, Tables, Ladders, Chairs, Canes - Steve Corino, the Sandman, and Justin Credible from ECW Guilty as Charged '01, including Rhino's run=in and title win.

Slum with RCA? Lol. I'm not comparing them to Samsung, but since when is RCA bad whatsoever? I really liked your perspicacity there, though.

Dates my kindergarten teacher. Yes, "Miss Debbie" was dating Brian Bellows when I was four.

My top five: 1) Tiger. Let's say his knee isn't 100% and that cancels out his success here. So at the end of the day, it's still Tiger. 2) Phil Mickelson. Looked pretty average at the Memorial. Still, been playing well, had some success here, including a win over Tiger in 2000. 3) Geoff Ogilvy. Played well in the big events this year. 4) Sergio Garcia. It's pretty naive to compare Paul Goydos to Padraig Harrington, but I get the impression Sergio's made it over the hump. 5) Charles Howell III is my darkhorse. Runner-up here before, and sneaky long enough to handle Torrey. I've deliberately worked overtime each day this week, so I'm forced to leave work early Sunday. Turns out with primetime, it'd still be on if I worked a regular day anyway, but, even better.

The Nickelback-hating brother I often bring up effing loves Hal Gill. We were playing NHL 08 when I called him a pylon. Naturally, Gill went on to score the Leafs second, third, and game-winning fifth goal (in OT).

For christ's sake, RCA and Sanyo 42 1080p's on for 1000. Maybe I'll just throw a dart at a board covered in TV brands. Well, I guess I have until the Royal Rumble to decide anyway, which I had often said would be my housewarming party.

In news that could easily be discussed elsewhere Ballard, if you're home for the Mini Masters, Meagan is now welcome. Aaron has invited Andrea, throwing the 2nd-most Augusta-like thing about our tourney out the window (that being the sexism).
-
Much like when I screwed over CC with my pick of Kurri, I had considered taking Spezza to put a wrench in your machine.
-
No tourney names and locations? Amateur. And yes, the pin at 18 will be front on Sunday, as always (John Daly's sand save in the playoff is probably the most memorable image of it the last few years).

That's a good pick. I don't actually remember him hitting 90+ assists twice, just the year Cheechoo won the Richard.

And while it won't effect my enjoyment of HNIC in any way, it's beyond surreal that the theme will now be on TSN....and possibly even on ESPN, for that matter. Continuing on with anecdotes about my brother's dislike for Nickelback, I once joked that "Saturday Night's Alright" had actually overtaken the theme as CBC began their Saturday broadcasts. He believed me, and went apeshit.

It was a complete non-story. Yeah, I read James Duthie's column this morning; I guess it was an off-the-cuff thing. Meh. That doesn't bother me, and I'm no Tiger fan.
-
Four things. It's late, so just headlines 1) Hasek to retire tomorrow. 2) Looks like Ron Wilson is the new Leafs coach, contract signing Monday. 3) What's this about the HNIC theme being dropped? I'm fully prepared to write Parliament over this. 4) I only like hockey, golf, beer, HDTV, and WalMart - surely worlds would have collided there, but why haven't I heard of this? Dave Hodge of TSN said the above on The Reporters this morning.

Chara was the other guy. Sons of bitches.

I'm unfamiliar with his non-Attitude work, and I'm fuckin thrilled to hear this. (Though I vaguely remember LoDown with Tiger Ali Singh). The fuckin look on his face when he won his first European title "I'M THE CHAMPION OF EUROPE!...I'M THE EUROPEAN CHAMPION!" and that fucking chest protector. Being introduced from Stockholm, and Belfast, and Budapest, and Vienna - this is awesome news.
-
Double DQ indeed.
-
FUCK! Good pick.

CG's list: Theo Fleury He was one of the two I mentioned earlier. As for Angle, yeah, go ahead and jump in, after the pity-pick confusion of a week ago.
-
Annual poster tournament FTW.
-
Furthermore, is it gay of me to like angelfood cake? I hope not, because I don't like it, I fucking love it.
-
Tough luck, Angle; Takerhart, go ahead.

The Things That Anger You Thread.

I love me some potluck, so I'm going to defend them. That sounds more like poor planning or notably stupid people are to blame. Edit: Incredibly-easily impressed is more appropriate than 'stupid'. -
My friend Nadine's chocolate pie is amazing. Otherwise, cake. EDIT: Yeah, I cleaned up a six-month-old drunk post.

Of course you weren't. Wide World wasn't in HD
