Fuck, Ray Bourque and Eric Desjardins is an awesome top d-unit.

Judge Reinhold had that dream again.

I know I'm a day behind, but I just re-read this, and as a staunch ECW loyalist, this statement couldn't be more accurate.

I'm the ice cream man. I'm a one man band.

The Brownie Iced Cap from Timmy's is awesome. It was, but I felt awfully wussy drinking it. -
What became? The way it was phrased (Worrying about Max, when Goblin had a pick ahead of you as well), kinda suggested to me it was a Bruin you had in mind....but I wanna make another London Byers reference.

Working. My plan was to work my ass off in Calgary. I play in a golf tournament every Thanksgiving weekend; I was hoping to transfer home, debt-free, for that, and buy a house. So, work, work, work. Give me 90 minutes or so a day to sit on the patio with my feet up, and I'm content with summer. I miss the fuck out of playing golf (and it's going to worse before it gets better), but I make enough money to get a membership somewhere next year and make up for the lack of golf this summer.

No, my 40 minute bus ride took nearly two hours today. Every street in Calgary is having construction done on it.

Late again, but, meh. May 8-11: The PLAYERS Championship, TPC at Sawgrass, Orlando. Phil Mickelson May 15-18: AT&T Classic, TPC at Sugarloaf, Atlanta. Zach Johnson May 22-25: Crown Plaza Invitational at Colonial, Colonial Country Club, Dallas. Rory Sabbatini May 29-June 1: the Memorial Tournament, Muirfield Village, Dublin, Ohio. KJ Choi Interesting leaderboard at the Stadium Course. Kenny Perry is at -6, in first alone. There was a period in 2003 where he looked he was going to be really, really big. Provided he doesn't win this week, he'll probably be best remembered for not hitting the range before the playoff he lost at the 96 PGA. Someday, he'll be an answer on a sports trivia show - he won the 2003 Colonial, when Annika teed it up. At -5 are Paul Goydos, Sergio Garcia, and Bernhard Langer. Last week's winner, Anthony Kim, could prove a lot of writers right if he wins - he's two back. If Garcia wins, can we call him the best without, even with Adam Scott's world ranking? (#3) Also, I really really wish the logo for the Memorial would be corrected, and 'the' would become capitalized.

Anyone had a McDonald's iced coffee yet? It's tough to imagine my ever drinking an iced coffee, but I'm all over these. I'm also kind of happy that I don't have to go anywhere near Starbucks. Still, I fear I'm on a slippery slope. -
Good call, George Michael.

The Brick in Calgary is closing one of its locations, and is having an obscene clearance. They were gone by the time I got there, but 42-inch plasmas were on for $300. It would have cost $105 to ship it home - so in essence, I could have had a 42-inch plasma for $450 dollars. I've often said I wouldn't buy plasma, but if I could do it for half of what I had planned, I'd bend the rules a bit.

Kenny Perry is your winner, his third at the Memorial. Others came in 1991 and 2003. That's a hell of a stat, actually, that much of a stretch between wins at a course. Two things I need to wikipedia having made that comment: Gap between Sam Snead's wins at Greensboro and Peter Jacobson's in Hartford.

Have at 'er, Max.

Sons of bitches. All my eluded-to sleepers are gone, save one. Forsberg, Mikita and Bure were the three. There have been some awesome picks this round. Also, re: Forsberg, my dad and I were just talking about this a few weeks ago; Like Ken Griffey, it's too bad he was so often injured, as he legitimately could have been one of hockey's 10 or 15 best ever.
-
Once again, I have four picks in mind, and they go in draft slots 3-7. Cena-Umaga was not one of them, but that's a hell of a pick.
-
Anyone remember Crystal Pepsi? Also, how come nothing came of my TSM Olympics idea?
-
Number two on my aforementioned sleeper list. Not only that - remember my Kurri-Gretzky interruption? As anyone who frequents the Music folder could tell you, I'd love a line of Hull-Oates.
-
Shanny's a good pick. TakerHart, with whom I'm also waiting to play Ninja Turtles, has the floor.
-
^ I'd hate for this to turn into an obscure free-for-all, like the wrestling draft. (I suppose if I don't spoiler tag it, it's half the battle). But if you have Chris Nilan or Bruce Shoebottom on that list, you should be fine. Wait. London Byers is my favourite obscure Bruin. Is it him?
-
Angle's up. I'll leave my computer idle all night, as I'm staying in; hopefully we can knock a few rounds off.
-
I'll add you shortly.
-
There's four guys that could be considered sleepers, all of whom I badly want on my team. They'll probably all be gone by the end of this round, so I'm going to strategize a bit. My pick for this round was the third guy on that list. The Great Ones is looking like the early favourite, and The Great One himself probably wouldn't have had as much success without my pick. He's the second highest-scoring European of all-time. He's Jari Kurri.

Sign me up for herpes. There is no Waffle Day before Lent. It's close, though.

So, set a time for TMNT, Venk and Hart? I don't mind not having the two for beating Shredder and Krang flawlessly, but it makes me irate that I don't have the freezetrap achievement.

I'm finding myself, more and more, subscribing to the theory that "You can't be a nice guy to be a good coach". (It seems like an awfully long time ago that Therrien called out the Pens, doesn't it?) With that, Torts would fit like a glove in any of the cities you mentioned.
