The link is now dead...any news on when he'll be back? I've got Ottawa yesterday and today in my Pro Line Pools.

I looked pretty hard at a 30 inch HD CRT before settling on the LCD that I went with. The tube was pretty close to half of what I paid for it.
-
Not necessarily. It's kind of got that stigma, as the opposite is true: Plasma is NOT recommended for a well-lit room. LCD will be fine in a dark room. That's pretty sweet that it comes with an HDMI cable. NoCal, did you say a 46 CRT? It must be rear projection.

Two for Koivu in their 3-2 win, and now Paul Stasny has scored his third of the game, and it's 3-1 Colorado midway through two.

What's defined as Leafs regional coverage? I know I'm grasping at straws, but HNIC can be called regional, can't it? Ok, wishful thinking over.
-
Just in case anyone doesn't catch PTI tonight, I'll give you a Wilbon preview: Fucking Bears. Mother fucking Bears. 2-2.
-
Yeah, I'd like to know also. Who would possibly overtake him, let alone two? (I don't think it's a stretch to assume Brodeur's retired by Vancouver).

I have a buddy who's the same way, and he brought it out of me as well. He'd often tease me about the guilty pleasures on my computer when he was over. Sample convo: Jay: Collins, what's with the My Humps? Me: Guilty pleasure. Jay: Ahhhh understood. Don't share your computer with me, though. You're never at my house, so I have tonnes of Matchbox 20 on it.

(4.5) Baltimore @ Cleveland (3.5) Chicago @ Detroit - Chicago is not an elite team, regardless of what we led to believe by Mike Wilbon. They are, however, better than this. (2.5) Green Bay @ Minnesota - The inverse of what I said above. But fuck, it's awesome to see. (3.5) Houston @ Atlanta (3.5) N.Y. Jets @ Buffalo Oakland @ Miami (4.5) Yeah, why not? St. Louis @ Dallas (13.5) Dallas shouldn't have trouble, but that seems a little too high. (2.5) Seattle @ San Francisco Tampa Bay @ Carolina (3.5) Denver @ Indianapolis (9.5) Kansas City @ San Diego (12.5) (6.5) Pittsburgh @ Arizona (2.5) Philadelphia @ N.Y. Giants (7.5) New England @ Cincinnati I don't like all these visitor picks, but, we'll see. St. Louis scores 18. Good luck to all. Edit: I take back that good luck. Lose, Baron. Not just because I want to pass you, but I anticipate a lot of smack talk until the day if/when I pass you.

Which Honey Brown? Please tell me that you're not talking about the Buck a Beer brands. Buck-a-beer isn't all bad. But you're right about the $1 honey beers. Yecccccccccch. I don't know how I drank 15 Lakeport Honey a day in college.

NHL Preseason and Predictions - 2007-08

Awesome about Neely, one of my all-time favourite players, and this is coming from a Habs fan. Even fucking awesomer about Wirtz. Czech is going to have, I guarantee you, the post of the year, in a few hours. -
It turns out its actually Fantastic Four....Oh well, a free game is a free game. And woot for more achievements.

Arizona @ Baltimore (7.5) Buffalo @ New England (15.5) - That's too many against a team that played them pretty well the last few years. Detroit @ Philadelphia (6.5) (6.5) Indianapolis @ Houston Miami @ N.Y. Jets (3.5) Minnesota @ Kansas City (2.5) (4.5) San Diego @ Green Bay San Francisco @ Pittsburgh (9.5) St. Louis @ Tampa Bay (3.5) Cincinnati @ Seattle (3.5) Cleveland @ Oakland (3.5) I have to take this, even if I'm worried about the half-point spot. Jacksonville @ Denver (3.5) (4.5) Carolina @ Atlanta N.Y. Giants @ Washington (4.5) Dallas @ Chicago (3.5) Tennessee @ New Orleans (4.5) St. Louis scores 19. Good luck, all.

Potential stupid question: What was the real reason? They didn't have heat back then, did they, or not to the degree that's been so documented?

I'm now fairly excited for this game. I was so-so over it, but a buddy of mine said Future Shop is having midnight madness, and the first x customers get a free copy of the Transformers game as well. Since I usually start work at 1 am, this is ideal.

Jericho's Holds Yeah, yeah, it's on here a dozen times. Can it be seen too much? This was the first decent quality one I'd seen, and "Give me my holds" might be my new fav Jericho line.

Martin Gerber had 52 saves last night. We'll let you have him. Rogers ShitNet suggested "goalie controversy" during last night's program. Dumbasses. -

Well, sure, unless they get one of Buffalo's famous lake-effect blizzards that day. It's surprisingly fun to blame snow in the Niagara region, regardless of when/how, on Buffalo. -

It's official! This is absolutely win win. -
This is, in my opinion, where the most tinkering needs to be done. I realise the odds of it are astronomical, but someone playing in the playoffs this week (as well as last) might not retain their card based on how the Fall Finish plays out. I'd like to see everyone play for points, or cash, all season. Should anyone in the playoffs be allowed to play the FF events? (I say yes, but that's not what I'm getting at) Should everyone not in the top 144 have their accumulated points reset as well for the Fall Finish? As I've said before, I still really like the idea behind the playoffs, and I still think a little tinkering after seeing it play out is what's going to make it work.

Atlanta @ Jacksonville (10.5) Buffalo @ Pittsburgh (9.5) (7.5) Cincinnati @ Cleveland Green Bay @ N.Y. Giants (1.5) - Yeah, why not? Houston @ Carolina (6.5) (7.5) Indianapolis @ Tennessee (3.5) New Orleans @ Tampa Bay I'm with Czech's theory here. San Francisco @ St. Louis (3.5) (3.5) Dallas @ Miami Minnesota @ Detroit (2.5) (3.5) Seattle @ Arizona Kansas City @ Chicago (12.5) N.Y. Jets @ Baltimore (10.5) Oakland @ Denver (10.5) San Diego @ New England (3.5) Washington @ Philadelphia (6.5) All these visitor picks make me a little weary, but dammit if that many teams are gonna win by that much. St. Louis scores 21. Good luck, all.

"I Can't Believe That Got Over!!!"

Damn, I forgot about one. -
Him? For real? I didn't make it through the whole thing, I suppose he coulda shown his cock or something; but if we're talking the same vid...that's a guy? Fuckin emo kids. I agree with the basic premise of the thread: I don't, nor will I ever, understand the love or fascination with celebrities. I'm ultimately indifferent to it, altogether.

Was there any reason Ric Flair had Bobby Heenan and Perfect with him in the 92? Why would the best talker in wrestling history need two managers? The only reason I could think of was to given the new heel more heel heat.
