You gotta love Michael Bay using the same scene from Transformers with Rachel in that script.

Man, this is sad. I thought the guy was funny in everything I saw him in.

No way in hell does Big Daddy V end up in TNA. I know TNA creams their pants over getting any ex-WWE workers, but isn't TNA's whole gimmick that they have wrestlers who can actually work? TNA wouldn't have gave Tomko a look at all if he didn't go to Japan and learn how to work, because in WWE, he was terrible. I've never seen anyone improve as much as Tomko has the past 2 years.

All of those early designs for the Joker are horrible.

I didn't know Juno was hated by many people. If anything, too many people liked it. I couldn't believe it got nominated for all kinds of shit. I can see why people hate the new Indiana Jones, as it wasn't nearly as good as the previous 3, and was also a pointless movie to make. Its the definition of making a movie just for the sake of nostalgia. I liked the movie when I saw it, but I have a feeling if I watch it again, its gonna suck.

This Impact episode was pretty boring last night, but that ladder spot with Angle was sick. I too keep wondering why TNA showed that same girl in the crowd whenever Gail Kim comes out to the ring. If thats her sister, why don't they mention it? That isn't the first time TNA had people on shows without telling us who they were. Remember that guy that Karen was with last year during that whole fake divorce angle? That guy was on TV all the time and even on PPV, yet TNA never gave us his name. I think there was also some Japanese guy on that PPV with Steiner during his promo, and they never told us who he was either! So TNA had 2 guys on the same PPV that we had no clue who they were. After seeing the past few weeks of Impact, does Abyss have the "run-in man" gimmick or something? Other than that, he has had no reason to be on these shows.

None of those names mentioned were shocking releases, since those guys weren't doing anything anyway. I didn't even know Nick Patrick was employed. I must not pay attention to refs in matches I guess. I wonder if Carlito is next? We haven't seen him ever since he got drafted to Smackdown, and WWE hasn't had ads on TV hyping his return or anything either, and considering that thing he pulled at that press conference, I wouldn't be shocked if was fired tomorrow.

Holy shit. Jillian really does look like a completely different person now after seeing those 2004 pics. And her face may look bad now, but it doesn't look even close as bad as Chyna's from a couple of years ago. Hell, she didn't even look human.

Saw Pineapple Express today, and it was awesome. Franco was great, and I loved how the movie stayed funny even in serious life threatening situations. I was glad that someone on here said they didn't like Juno. I wanted to see that movie after hearing all the hype about it, then I watch it, and I'm like "why did anyone think this was good?" One of the most annoying movies I've ever seen. Had the most unrealistic dialogue out of anything.

I have a 2-disc Divimax DVD of Halloween, and even though its not blue-ray, I think it looks excellent on a HD TV. By the way, I was wondering how much better a blue-ray disc looks better than a standard DVD. Can anyone tell me?
-
I was actually at that show, and yes, the crowd went NUTS for Taker's return. It was the loudest pop I've ever heard in my life, out of any wrestling show I've been too.
-
Well, that has to be the most least shocking thing I've ever heard. WWE must have had enough with him after he could barely lift James Curtis for a suplex on this week's episode of ECW.
-
Yeah, any movie that has Will Smith in it ends up making at least 200 million these days.

Even though I was 9 years old in 1999, I remember hearing that stuff about Sable filing a lawsuit against the WWF and she quit the company. I don't remember the WWF ever mentioning that stuff on the air though.
-
Its funny that you mentioned this bps, since when I read the thread title, that was the first show that came to my mind.
-
Damn, Southland Tales was the weirdest movie I've ever seen. I really hope that director was on drugs while making that, otherwise I fear for his sanity. Can't believe Dwayne Johnson would agree to be in that since he's trying to become one of Hollywood's top stars.
-
Yeah, its almost like that guy wrote a parody of a negative review.
-
Yeah, Bad Boys 2 is pretty much the definition of overkill.
-
Yeah, Bad Boys 2 was probably the fastest 2 1/2 hour long movie ever. There was nothing boring in it, and the movie has the most over the top action you'll ever see. That movie is the example of the reputation Michael Bay has, of making movies that are loud, have guns shooting constantly, cars crashing, and shit blowing up all the time.
-
Wow, I read that review, and that person has to be the biggest retard on Earth.
-
Well Lushus, every critic dislikes that movie for all the reasons you mentioned except for maybe Clooney hamming it up. If anything, Clooney was just cashing a paycheck and didn't even try pretending that Bruce Wayne and Batman are supposed to have different personalities. But, yeah, some critics do say that the movie being too loud also hurts it.
-
Well, Batman & Robin was also extremely loud, and some critics use that as one of their excuses for not liking it.
-
Having that benchwarmer Bob guy being their "celebrity" involvement pretty much sums up that the AWA was 3rd rate then. Their commentary is so embarrassing when they try hyping him.
-
Yeah, Angle has pretty much lost his mind the past few years.
-
Well, I think WWE would have put up with Angle's other antics, such as backstage politics, and his painkiller addictions, but I think since he was injured all the time in 06, they finally had enough. When I say that Angle isn't much of a draw, I mean both companies, WWE and TNA. The mainsream WWE audience I think could have cared less if he was in the company or not. It was hard for them to get emotionally invested in him, since he never could find the right character to play to get over with. And I remember in 06 when he went to TNA, everyone was thinking it would start another wrestling boom or something, and no one cared, since he never had a connection with mainstream fans.
