Well, what I meant was, if you pretend those sequels don't exist, thats the way Myers was in the first movie. The sequels pretty much take away everything scary about Myers in the first movie by trying to explain his motivations and such. Things are much more frightening when there is no motive.

Smokin Aces was weird. It was ok, but there was one awesome scene where Ray Liota and another hitman were shooting each other a bunch of times in the elevater, until they shot all the lights out, and its complete darkness. That was badass. I did think it was funny that Affleck was hyped as being the main star of that movie, but was only in the first 15 minutes.

I got this kind of vibe with RVD in his last year in WWE. As in, they didn't want to put him against any good workers for potential good matches (CM Punk) in fear of him getting over after the whole weed thing, yet he played cat and mouse with management with his contract situation on his way out, that he had a very inconsistent last few months where it would look like he was buried one night, and another night he would win, making people think he would get pushed again.
-
No, I'm not. Why would WWE spend time and money on a guy that can't stay consistent? Rey has a fanbase, and sells merchandise, so he won't get released, and even though Angle got huge pushes at times, he wasn't a draw really, so they released him. What makes Kennedy so special?

Halloween is probably the scariest movie I've seen. Love the creepy music and atmoshpere it has. Also love that Michael Myers in that is pretty much an enigma, as in there was nothing logical behind his murders at all, and there was no reason why he became a psychopath. Thats just pure evil folks.

Oh shit RedJed, you were actually at those shows? God, I can't imagine how awful that football shit would have been watching it live, as I thought it was unwatchable watching it on TV. I mentioned on the previous page that I too thought Johnny Stewart looked like Chris Candido. I thought it was pretty funny on the newest AWA show they mentioned the turkey match!

Wait a sec. They actually thought Jericho would GET OVER BY JOBBING TO RALPHUS???????????????!!!!!!!!!!
-
Its funny that TNA NOW realizes Joe is booked as a whiny little child. He's been booked that way since Janurary when he was doing that angle where he would complain to Cornette about not getting paid enough money, and at that month's PPV he got booed, and the crowd started chanting "lets go Tomko!" when Tomko was a heel. Judging from that news you posted RedJed, Russo seems more crazy than ever.

Well, I did actually see Jericho's new tights on Raw the other night, and yes it was bizarre.
-
Yeah, Rey won't get released because he at least has a fanbase and sells merchandise. But I really don't see many bright things in Kennedy's future. He will most likely just be in midcard hell, and possibly getting injured again.
-
Yeah, I'm sorry my statements didn't make much since there. What I meant was that I saw bits and pieces of JBL's title run, but mostly I just stayed the hell away from it.
-
If a guy gets injured this many times, they should just release him. They released Kurt Angle over this, so why not Kennedy?

I really don't remember what happened to Jericho, I wouldn't say he was buried in late 98 but he wasn't doing anything of note. I think he was in a tag team with Eddie, then I never saw Jericho again in the company. I know there were contract disputes backstage and they eventually just took him off TV. As for guys leaving a company in embarrassing fashion, I would have to go with Tazz in ECW. He jobbed every night for months, and even got pinned by 2 guys at once! A favorite burial of mine would be Muhammed Hassan at The GAB 2005.

Jesus! Again?

Yeah, I do like Batman pretty well. As for guys in the WWE I like, I like pretty much everyone besides Miz/Morrison, Kennedy, and Orton. You can pretty much name anyone else on the roster and I like them or I don't have a problem with them. Let's use Bam Neeley for instance. Does anyone really like him, or do most people just not have a problem with him? I don't have a problem with him.

I too thought the Nash scene was the best in the movie. I've never read a Punisher comic book, so I don't know how faithful the movie was, but according to jingus, not very much. I personally thought the movie was ok for what it was.

You can have a horror movie with a monster or killer going around killing people and have it be scary. The first Halloween and the first Nightmare on Elm Street have killers that are basically just an unstoppable force, yet they're scary films. Old Universal horror movies are great too, as they have tragic monsters in some cases like the wolf man, and the Frankenstein monster.

Smackdown spoilers (a little basic)

I wouldn't be shocked to see HHH turn heel since I hear he wants to turn heel all the time. Edge turning face I don't think will ever happen. Him turning heel back in 04 is what has made him get to the next level. -
I still hate those kind of horror movies though. When I see a horror movie, I want to see a monster or some dude going around killing people, not shit where "there may be a monster, but its really just your imagination" bullshit, or it turns out to be some stupid plot twist at the end. Plot twists are the worst things ever invented, since it kills a movie and makes it useless to watch again.

I don't know, but when WWE pushed Lashley hard and tried to make him their next big star, I just thought of him as being the next Tony Atlas!

Like I said, why is Edge a heel for shoving Vickie out of the wheelchair? Vickie clearly doesn't need it, as we've seen her walk clear as day the past few months, and only uses it just because she doesn't feel like walking, and has someone push her around. People won't accept Vickie as a face, because I think they have a legit dislike over her, because of her just doing tasteless angles for money after Eddie's death, and also because she's naturally annoying. -
I don't know how anyone could enjoy that JBL main eventing Smackdown era. Hell, the very thought of Bradshaw main eventing offended me so bad at the time (and still does) that I quit watching Smackdown the rest of the year and didn't start watching again until after WM 21. I quit watching Raw too around that same time due to the Diva Search garbage, and that terrible Orton/HHH feud. I didn't start watching Raw again until after WM 21 as well. Basically, that was just an awful time period for the WWE, and was the worst they've had in the past decade.

I think Harris has been worse than Ortiz really, since Harris shouldn't be this bad. I've seen Ortiz in OVW when he was called Atlas Da Bone, and yes, he was terrible, but Harris is just embarrassing at this point. Many people for years have called Harris a breakout star waiting to happen, but I always thought James Storm would have the better future, since he is lightyears better on the mic, and is a pretty underrated worker. So far, that has come true.

Yeah, dubq, I too find that laughable. I think people are sick of seeing psychological horror movies, although I always hated that shit since the Sixth Sense inspired all that junk.
