I thought this Hulk movie was good, and miles better than that shit we got in 2003, but I didn't think it was close to Iron Man though. Iron Man is such an interesting character while the Hulk isn't. That's maybe why Hulk movies never do anything at the box office, since I don't think people REALLY care about him. After all, the Hulk is just a green monster who breaks stuff. Iron Man was a very interesting character arc, and also had a great performance from Robert Downey Jr.

OMG Terminator 4 is definetly going ahead

I think Bale's a good actor and can draw money, but I still think there is people who will ignore this movie because Arnold isn't in it. It really depends on what the movie's word of mouth is. The third one also had Arnold in it. -
I too found Batman Begins to be a little odd when I first saw it. Even though Begins didn't get any kind of hype compared to Dark Knight, I was stoked to see that movie too, and when I saw it, I liked it, but I thought something seemed strange about it. I wasn't expecting to see such a realistic take on a superhero, so I actually didn't think it was as good as the 89 Batman. Then over the next few years, I watched it more and more times, and read some graphic novels that influenced it, and I now consider it a great movie. Trying to go back and watching the previous 4 movies now is like torture for me. Those movies were too obsessed with focusing on villians and ignoring Batman, and they don't feel like Batman movies either. They feel more like fantasy, when Batman movies should feel like crime dramas.

I think I heard somewhere that the expected gross for the weekend is $118M. Now, don't panic since there is more stuff out right now than Spider-Man 3 had to compete with, and I think making $118M when stuff is actually out is a bigger accomplishment than making a lot of money when nothing is out. It still will make tons of money the next few weeks, and I think it will end up being the biggest hit of the year.

Its so disappointing to see Kong lose the title to someone who came out of nowhere though. I mean they have her dominate an entire division just to do that? I also never like men vs. women angles in wrestling since it does neither side any good. If the man loses to the woman, it makes him look like a pussy, and if he beats her... SO WHAT? Its a woman, he should be able to beat her anyway.

I don't hate Taylor or anything. In fact, she's probably a pretty good worker, but I just don't like the way she's booked. I agree that WWE are the only ones who constantly have new people win belts on their debut, but that doesn't mean I want TNA to start doing it too. The only person I can remember winning a belt on their debut and actually got over was Christian in the WWF, but the light heavyweight belt was meaningless at that point. Ironically, Gail Kim won the belt in her WWE debut, but didn't get over from it, yet she's really over in TNA because they didn't just push her out of the gate. I know TNA doesn't vacate their World title that much, but it just seems like every month they have some dumb angle with their titles, whether its people stealing them and being declared having the physical belt but are NOT the champion, or vacating them due to stupid controversy (Eric Young/Kaz with the tag belts).

I have a feeling this Terminator movie might flop. With a budget that big, and the mainstream will complain about no Arnold, I just don't know how it will make money. I don't think it will be a bad movie, since I've always been kinda interested in seeing a whole movie of John Connor fighting the machines, and not just in prologues. I am worried about the choice of director though. McG? WTF? It seems like when a director only has one name, the movie ends up being terrible. -
I really think Raw has been fun the past 3 weeks. I really like this direction of having anarchy stand supreme, and there is no established order. I think the opening segments with the McMahons telling everybody to act professional, and then we get crazy chaos is really funny. Its also going to be funny if they put a GM on the show to try and store some order, and everything is still out of control.

Yeah, Begins was sort of a mix between Batman graphic novels as well as adapting Ra's Al Ghul and Scarecrow, so the movie can have some of Batman's rogue gallery. There is also some of The Long Halloween thrown in there too, by including Carmine Falcone in the movie, and having the theme of him being above the law.

I'm actually glad that Hollywood decided to let Beverly Hills Cop 4 be rated R. It just wouldn't be the same without it. I think I heard the next Terminator movie is going to be PG-13, but I don't think it will hurt it much.

Is there anything more obvious than Val turning on Lethal at Hard Justice? Gotta love those ambulance angles!

MVP is the weirdest character right now: a heel who thinks he's a tweener. It kind of reminds me of Kurt Angle's first year in TNA.

Oh man, this movie sounds like its going to be awesome. I can't wait to see this!

Well, I personally think fans don't accept people who just show up and win belts immediately. It comes off like they give people an obvious push, and fans just roll eyes at it. As for Booker/Joe, I know that this is leading to title matches between Joe/Nash and Joe/Sting, but it seems like there was no reason for them to book that crazy finish on that PPV. This is also about the 5,8594904th time that TNA has done this with their titles on PPVs, in which there is controversy, and they end up vacating the title. I think fans are sick of seeing this happen every month.

Wow, this show doesn't sound very good at all. Half of these matches made me think WTF? The Edge/Victoria Crawford stuff was pretty obvious, and I bet its pretty funny to see on TV, but I also agree with other people: How can Vickie turn face? I know in storyline it makes sense, since Edge has basically been using her all along so he can have more power, but Vickie draws too much heel heat, and is too annoying to be a face. I'm glad to see Kennedy being buried though, since I have never understood why the guy has such a following.

I agree with you on this. Batman Begins was more of my taste as well. When I think of Batman I think of stuff that is dark and gritty, but also very exciting, and Begins nailed it. When I think of Iron Man, I think of stuff that is more fun and lighthearted. Same thing with Spider-Man.

I think TNA should run shows in a certain area too. I don't know what area they should run out of though. The south?

That critic has got to be an idiot. Hancock was by far the worst movie I've seen this year, just awful. Its pretty much impossible for any movie to get in the high 90's on rotten tomatoes as there are always dumbass critics who hate a movie for no good reason. I think its disturbing that Batman Begins only gets 84% on there. That rating isn't bad at all, but I think people thought it was an excellent movie. If it only gets that much, why does Iron Man get 93%? Does anyone think its that much better than Batman Begins really? I thought Iron Man was a great movie, but I didn't think it was better.

Wow, I didn't know some of those Eddie Murphy movies cost that much. I didn't remember Haunted Mansion being a flop, and why did I Spy and Showtime cost that much to make? Well on the cartoon topic, I don't count well known actors being the selling point of those movies either. I think kids could care less who does the voice in them, and the movie sells itself, if it looks good. I mean kids might notice that a famous actor is doing a voice while watching the movie, but I doubt they really care.

I know Norbit did pretty well, but Pluto Nash might be the biggest flop in history. That movie cost like $80M to make and made $4M in the U.S. and $2M overseas. That makes a total of $6M! No telling what the marketing might have cost. As for his flops, how about BHC3, Vampire in Brooklyn( a movie I didn't know existed until last week), Holy Man, Metro, and of course Pluto Nash. Its just that he seems to have a hit every few years that covers up the flops.

Let's Talk About...Kevin Sullivan's run with the book in WCW i

I've also heard the stretcher match between the Mamalukes and David Flair was pretty decent, but what does it say about a PPV when DAVID FLAIR was in the MOTN. Going back and watching Uncensored 2000, it really isn't all that bad. Norman Smiley's stuff on shows in 2000 were hilarious, and I also agree that the match between Finlay and Vampiro was pretty good and underrated, even if it did rip off Benoit/Sullivan. -
Angle and Styles have no direction because what the fuck is this storyline's endgame? Styles gets beat down every week, and for what? He says on TV that he isn't having sex with her, so why is he willing to take so much punishment? Angle on the other hand DOESN'T want his wife back in storyline, so why would he care if AJ is with her? As for Abyss, is being in a program with Awesome Kong a good thing? I mean its not possible for this to lead to anything good. Also doesn't help they keep jobbing Kong to Taylor for some weird reason. There are other people who have no direction either, such as Black Machismo/Dutt, Eric Young, Curry Man, etc. This Machismo/Dutt feud can't have anything good come out of it. I mean, you can almost feel his heat leaving the building the past few weeks.

I don't think Big Al was 911. It just looked nothing like him. I don't guess it matters though, because even if it was, it still would have sucked. -
Yeah, The Dark Knight has been overhyped, but from what I've heard, it lives up to it. I'm glad that Nolan's Batman movies are based off of The Long Halloween, since that is my favorite Batman story. It seems that a lot of themes in these movies are in that book.

I really liked this movie. This was one of those movies where the director tried making a "bigger, better" sequel and it turned out great. I did miss Kroenen though, but other than that the movie was better than the first in pretty much every way.
