I like Foley, Jarrett and Ms. Brooks being the authority figures, as they all make sense in their storylines, but why the hell is Cornette still on TV? I thought when Foley announced he was the new authority figure, Cornette would just be taken off TV, and they would just pretend he never existed. And he wasn't seen for weeks either, so why would they bring him back?

Sting is really neither heel or face the past few months really. The only heel stuff I remember him saying was bringing up AJ's dad and all that, but otherwise he's been a complex character who believes the veterans are being disrespected. The promos with him and Foley seem like they're buddies that have different opinions on one issue, so basically, Sting is a face within a heel faction. I know, it doesn't really make much sense.

I agree. Can't we all just move on from the whole "terrorist paranoia" stage?

The more violent and edgy Bond worked well in Casino Royale since it was an origin story, but I too don't want to see Bond like that in every movie. This also goes for his antagonistic relationship he has with M in the new movies, as it too worked well in Casino Royale since he just got promoted to being 007, and I can see why he would have problems with M at first, but I don't want to see that in future films either. Also, I actually liked the other choices that were rumored for Bond before they cast Craig. I like Craig as Bond, but I think Hugh Jackman, or Clive Owen would have been better. I kinda wonder why they never thought about Christian Bale? I think he would have been a good choice for Bond.

Is it supposed to be a bad thing if Jarrett is the one who saves the day for the originals? I mean, judging from the booking so far, Joe and Styles, and the rest of them don't seem like they're going to do shit, so it makes sense for Jarrett eventually helping them out in the end.

Yeah, from watching early TNA shows back from 2002-03, Tenay and West weren't annoying at all, so it has to be scripts or someone telling them to yell and scream all the time. I wonder who's idea it was to have them do that?

Yes, I think the words make the song very cheesy sounding.

Hmm, maybe I should watch Smackdown next week, since this show sounds like it has some different kinds of stuff going on, with Jeff being a tweener wearing the facepaint, and from what you guys say, had a good match with Taker.

I was dissapointed with that as well. I thought that was such an awesome and memorable movie poster, and yet that scene wasn't in the movie.

I liked Quantum of Solace, but yeah, Casino Royale was a better film.

I don't know the deal with Palin. Has it been confirmed she actually IS showing up, or is it just speculation? Because if they don't even know if she will show up, it makes TNA look very dumb for having the Beautiful People talk about her on the air.

We have a winner! I don't anyone could have summed this up better than Venkman on why the TNA Originals have no support from the fans.

I'm starting to think that this TNA Originals stable is one of the worst face stables ever. Either everyone is booked bad, or they have an unfair advantage on the heels. Also, I thought the stipulation of Christian/Booker was really retarded as well, with Christian either winning a fake title, or joining a heel faction. What kind of punishment is that? It was basically a win-win situation with Christian.

Since Florida went democrat in this election, I doubt Sarah Palin will be cheered. Also, I think people are just sick of hearing about her anyway. Apparantly, wrestling promoters these days don't understand that fans watch wrestling to get away from political stuff, not to hear about it on there too.

What the hell were they thinking about that Final Resolution main event with the tag match? Why the hell does AJ become champion if he doesn't even win the match?
-
You know, if there is one guy I haven't missed at all, it would be Umaga. A feud with the Taker sounds so uninteresting, that I can't describe it.
-
This makes a lot of sense, with Hall being mentioned all over TV the past few weeks.
-
Ha! I actually thought of that when I saw Khali start doing this stuff. I was thinking "this is just like the fat chick thriller Mike Awesome!" With Khali it works better though, as he has a good sense of humor, but with Awesome, it was embarrassing.
-
I think the Christian/Booker storyline is the only thing in the upper card that seems flat. I just don't think this feud is working very well, maybe because its over a fake title, or because the feud seemed to begin out of nowhere, when other feuds like Joe/Nash and AJ/Sting have had build up.

Kong may already be getting stale. I still like Kong, but sooner or later, its going to be just like watching the same thing over and over again with nothing new added.
-
I totally agree with you on this. The MEM are awesome.
-
Well, I kinda meant like having the Kiss Cam segments with the fat chicks.

Bashir with the X-Division title is probably the only bad title holder in TNA right now.

Joe is a huge victim of bad booking. He was doing fine in 2005-06, but once Angle came in the company, I felt that TNA just lost all faith in him being their main star. I think Angle came in about right at the time when I thought Joe would get the title, but I think TNA just thought "Man, we have Angle now, let's make him our main star now!" And Joe ever since has been booked badly. He lost clean to Angle, was constantly chasing the title and not getting it, and currently this year, booked as a horrible character who whines about his contract, and was always yelling at Nash, even though he was trying to give him advice. I don't really think Nash should be the heel in the current storyline, as I think he has every right not to like Joe.

I think WWE should have gave Val the current gimmick that Khali is doing now.
