It calls for Rob to be out for revenge, and he didn't look like a guy ready to kick some ass.

If facial expressions are anything to go by, Van Dam looks like he's losing and isn't happy about it.

WWE General Discussion for June 2007

While you make a point that we only hear things against Stephanie, you have to wonder why we hear very little in support of Stephanie. Even when Triple H was at his worse years ago, you'd still hear plenty of people talking in his defense. But with Stephanie, almost nobody says anything positive about her. -
The Stretcher match is opening the PPV up.

RVD/Balls would have been better had it gone 12-15 instead of almost 20. Paul had a major problem when it came to having matches go almost twenty minutes when fourteen minutes would have been better. RVD/Balls is one example. RVD and Sabu/Hayabusa and Jinsei Shinzaki is another.

Memo to TNA: piping in fake crowd noise just makes your product look more minor league than it already is. On TV, it's impossible to get a proper reading on the crowd reactions because off all the piped in noise drowning out whatever legitimate reaction there is. -

That's the beauty of the WWE business model. The quality of the product has very little effect on the bottom line. As long as Stephanie does nothing that is off-the-charts stupid, marketing and promotion will ensure a healthy bottom line year after year, and Stephanie's position is safe, even if the product itself is terrible. -
Koloff had two things going for him in the NWA; a consistent push thanks to Dusty, and decent money for a travel schedule that, while hard going, was nothing like the nightmarish one WWF guys had. If Koloff had gone to the WWF and feuded with Hogan, he'd have slid down the cards once the feud was done, with his pay sliding down accordingly. On a short term basis, a feud with Hogan would have made him more money than he was getting in the NWA, but in the long term, he had the better monetary prospects, and a far lighter travel schedule, in the NWA. Regarding the travel schedule, would his wife's illness have something to do with that consideration or did that come later? Koloff left the NWA to care for his wife in the second half of 1988, after the Hogan vs. Foreign Heel phase. In Koloff's position, I'd have stayed in the NWA as well. Jim Cornette and The Midnight Express had the chance to leave and stayed for the reasons of decent to good money for a less hectic travel schedule.

Yeah, because having him win matches and do some cool signature spots would never work. -

Why...? Because it's "funny" and involves "character development". Or because TNA have yet to figure out that it's 2007. Take your pick. -

They were fired for mainly having a hugely inflated opinion of their value and expressing that opinion.

I haven't read it myself to confirm, but apparently the latest Observer says that Sonjay Dutt will soon be doing a Ghandi gimmick. He'll dress up like Ghandi, and preach non-violence. He was going to wear a turban complete with jewel in the middle, but he nixed that part. -
