It's all about the presentation. Edge isn't presented as someone who got lucky and fluked into three title wins. He's presented as a conniving and opportunistic bastard who will take any advantage to get the big win.

Magical. That's the only way to describe how it felt. Just finished watching the entire segment off of, I think, the Australian feed, and it really is one of those moments that feels like you're watching something special. The Mark Henry attack on Undertaker is a lot more physical than the fancam clips showed, as he rams Undertaker into the steps and the ringpost before hitting the splashes in the ring. Edge gets a great reaction coming out, even though they've dubbed in a lot of boos, as it's obvious the ringside fans and those in the lower decks are going nuts for this; you've got ringsiders slamming their hands in the barricade, chanting Edge's name like crazy. Michael Cole, and JBL at first, are putting this over like something really treacherous, with JBL going, "No, Edge, not like this", and they do an excellent job of putting this over as a cheating, conniving and low down thing to do. Undertaker does a great job of selling the beating, as he's got a bloodied face from the cage match. The reaction after Edge gets the pin is great. Again, you get the booing dubbed in, but that doesn't take away from the fact that everybody was into this, either hating on Edge or cheering him on wildly. Just looking at the crowd you can see them paying total attention to what is going on, and I don't think anyone was leaving their seats. There's a post-match attack by Edge, who returns to the ring and lays out Undertaker with the briefcase, and the final shot is of Edge standing tall, holding up the World title belt and the briefcase. JBL puts it over with something like, "Undertaker's good, but he just got bested by Edge", and Cole is acting outraged, but not in the over the top way you'd think. I don't know how anyone else will view this whole deal, but to me, it felt like something special was in the air. This could be the start of a really great run for Edge on Smackdown, or a short-term buzz. Either way, they couldn't have done this any better. Thumbs up.

I don't think you watched the same video that everyone else has. Here's another, lengthier fancam of what happened. It's a .flv file, because the original got taken down from YouTube. No way you can argue that Edge's music, or this whole scenario, didn't get a reaction. The place went nuts from the moment Edge's music hit to long after the match was over. Edge cashes in We'll see how it comes across on television. From what I heard, it didn't sound like much of a reaction. You must have some really bad hearing.

Don't quote me on this, but I seem to remember Raven making mention of this in one of his various shoots recently. He might have been joking. And in a news item that personifies the title of this thread, The Naturals have been released. -
That crowd popped like a motherfucker when Edge's music hits. I hope this translates well on TV. Ok, I watched it, and the title change got over HUGE. That place went nuts for it.

That's the plan, to have a new PPV every couple of months.

3.6 Cena/Khali should be tolerable, as long as they keep it to under ten minute and use every shortcut in the book.

Edgicho. As for Rey, he's meant to be back around July, but he and the company want him back sooner. His doctor isn't wanting him to come back at all, because his knees are in such bad shape. There is also semi-quiet talk, and I don't know how reliable this is, that Rey's heart isn't in the best of shape either. I can see Edge and Henry being paired up, as I think WWE see Edge working better with some kind of companion, be it a girlfriend or bodyguard of some kind.

The referee's have been instructed to treat the match as a shoot. So, if a wrestler is meant to kick out, he/she better remember to, because the referee isn't going to hold up the three count. It's what caused the unscheduled women's title changes on the recent European tour; Victoria forget to kick out, or wasn't able to, and Mickie James pinned her to win the women's title, forcing a hurried rematch later on in the card for Melina to get the belt back. And it's Benoit vs. MVP 2/3 falls at JD.

F4W Serious or not, it appears WWE are under the impression it is. Also, Alvarez shot down Keller's version of the Orton incident as being incorrect, and the room trashing was what got him sent home rather than a reaction to it.

I wonder if the 'developing circumstances' are TNA telling Aries that if he says anything, he'll get fired. Didn`t Aries want that in the first place though? He wanted his release. Who knows what conditions TNA have attached or could attach to people they fire. -
With everything he does, it's understandable that Vince would forget a storyline from six years ago, even if he played somewhat of a part in it.

Guess this means Batista/Mark Henry at JD. Couple that with Cena/Khali, and you've got a pair of classic main events.
