  1. Well that's terrifying. Who else can they add to the mix? In their minds, Cena/Hunter/Vince/Shawn are the top players on Raw. Hopefully Vince leaves after Mania and they finish Cena and Hunter at Backlash. Its not like any of this is so compelling that it should strech three more months. I can easily see them stretching Cena and Hunter well into the middle of the year, possibly ending up at Vengeance in yet another HIAC.
  2. Was there any allusion to Bret or Montreal tonight?

  4. Maybe Cena helps Shawn beat Vince and Vince then helps Hunter beat Cena as payback, and they can build to Cena/HBK vs. Hunter/Vince matches. It would certainly let them hold off the Cena vs. Hunter rematch for a while.
  5. I can see why people think so highly of him.
  6. Ok, sorry, but point stands. Demanding to win twice, one time completely clean against an active wrestler 12 years younger than you isn't being reasonable. I think it should be understandable why anyone would have a problem with that. I think a lot of people would have a problem with it. But I don't think all of those people would have gone on live tv the next day and done a shoot promo over it.
  7. He jobbed to Hogan, he jobbed to Austin, he refused to job to Bret who was barely a draw at all and responsible for some of the lowest buyrates in history. What are you talking about? He is obviously talking about the fact that if Shawn had his way, he wouldn't have jobbed to any of them. His problem with Hogan was that Hogan wanted him to lose completely clean to a legdrop, not once but twice in a row. The second match was going to be a cage match. Hogan was willing to compromise and have a photo finish with Hogan barely winning.
  8. Triple H is coming out on Unlimited.
  9. Matt Striker is doing his thing now.
  10. What happened to Val?
  11. Michaels didn't have a choice over doing the job or not. Hogan had creative control. Being a good Christian doesn't necessarily mean you're a pacifist about the people in your life trying to screw you over. But it allows for cutting a shoot promo on someone on live tv with the other person having no chance to make a comback?
  12. He showed how much he'd fixed it by throwing a fit over not getting his way in the program with Hogan, and getting Vince to let him do a shoot promo on Hogan on the live Raw the next day, where he mocked Hogan and all but came right out and said he made Hogan look good the night before, thus making a complete mockery of the match.
  13. Now that you mention it... He did get banned? Where did this happen? I can't be sure, but I think it was a week ago or something. I think last week's Raw thread might have been the last straw. I can't be bothered to check and make sure. Bottom line is that he's gone.
  14. Every time someone brought it up, he always furiously denied it. At least one person, not sure who, said that they knew for sure DH was not Dave.
  15. Now that you mention it...
  16. From those who have seen what Shawn said, he said nothing positive about Bret at all and totally buried him.
  17. Three weeks later they'd be jobbing on Heat to Val Venis in three minutes. Not sure if that's a bad thing or not.
  18. Where the Hell has he been? Breaking into MMA. Judging from most of his fights, MMA has been breaking into him.
  19. We all know how trustworthy Shawn is with that. Apparently, there's always the potential for people to change for the better, except if your named Shawn Michaels. Shawn might have been given the benefit of the doubt, but stuff like that unprofessional stunt he pulled on Raw the day after Summerslam make it hard to really trust he'll keep his word or not try and pull another stunt.
  20. On The Law, they said the SNME rating in Canada, on City TV(?), was 0.8.
  21. Bret has gotten over it as much as he can with Vince obsessively bringing it up on a regular basis and constantly wanting Bret to be part of a Montreal angle, which he knows Bret wants nothing to do with. Bret should have known far before now that Vince is a mentally unstable ego-manical sociopath. Hell, I work for one; but that doesn't mean I go and piss myself silly every time he does something stupid just because he's a rich, obnoxious jerk, which is almost every day. Bret doesn't "piss himself silly" over Vince rehashing Montreal. He, like everyone else, is tired of Vince bringing it back up on a regular basis. From what I've seen, it's the fans who will never let it die, with those "You Screwed Bret!" chants every time Vince or Hebner were out in the arena. They're the ones that bring it up every single time. And you don't think Vince bringing it up for over 8 years has kept them going just a little?
  22. There was ZERO chance of that happening. I've read, or heard somewhere, out of Bret's mouth, he was going to do it, because he was offered a lot of money to do so, and was already angry with Vince and company. Every shred of evidence points that Bret never had that intention and even Eric Bischoff supports against that idea was suggested. It would have been a massive legal lawsuit that Turner wasn't going to back. It was a hoax, created by McMahon-supporters to paint Vince in a positive light and make it look like Vince had no choice in the matter. The difference between Medusa and Bret? Medusa, wasn't under contract...and because of that incident certain actions against WCW were taken. Also, whether the WWF could have sued over it happening, it would still be a huge event for WCW, and they might have seen it as worth any potential financial/legal backlash. Turner higher ups would have squashed anything that could open the company up to a lawsuit they would have no chance of winning.
  23. There was ZERO chance of that happening. I've read, or heard somewhere, out of Bret's mouth, he was going to do it, because he was offered a lot of money to do so, and was already angry with Vince and company. Bret actually cared about the belt and wasn't about to disgrace it. He never had any intention, they offered him alot to do it and he turned them down. He didn't like it when Medusa did it and he wasn't about to do it to the belt he actually gave a damn about. And that little lawsuit thing. Stupid enter key, I hate you. They didn't offer him anything to do it because they'd open themselves up to a lawsuit they would have lost.
  24. There was ZERO chance of that happening. I've read, or heard somewhere, out of Bret's mouth, he was going to do it, because he was offered a lot of money to do so, and was already angry with Vince and company. Again, there was ZERO chance of that happening. Doing so would have opened up Bret, Eric Bischoff and WCW to a lawsuit which they would have lost. The idea of Bret taking the WWF title to WCW is a complete myth.
  25. There was ZERO chance of that happening.
