I guess the way he talked to Flair could be called heelish. Or a face standing up to a heel. Or something.

The gimmick says yes, but the putting him in with a guy that is a heel says no. How many fans do you think remember Stevie is a heel? How many fans do you think remember Stevie at all ? They should have put him in there with Hurricane. At least he could have bumped better for Hoss Masters' big man spots, and we'd know for sure that Masters is meant to be a heel.

Not to mention it wasn't a mistake.

Is it a month ago already ? Save for that last line, this all got reported ages ago, and even that last part has already been talked about.

Pinfall or submission, it doesn't matter, but it has to be decisive. No 10 count gimmickry or touching four corners rubbish.

Whatever the gimmick, the WM main event should end in a pinfall. That was one of the reasons the proposed Ladder match for Benoit, Shawn and Hunter never happened, because it was felt that the main event should end with a pinfall. And they're right. Gimmick the main event all you want if you need to hide weaknesses, but it has to end with a pinfall.

It was meant to be Daniels v AJ Styles, but Styles had flight problems, and so couldn't make it.

The problem with Masters is his physique doesn't stand out, and that's meant to be the basis for his entire persona. If Vince was going to foist another juiced up bodybuilder on us, the least they could have done was have him have a physique that stands out or looks spectacular.

Steve Williams had a great deal with All Japan; really good money, no political bullshit to deal with, and pretty much a guarantee of a high level spot for as long as he wanted. He'd have been nuts to have signed anything lengthy with the WWF or WCW.

I'm feeling the same way, except I won't be watching at all. I'll read reports, and if anything major does happen I'll try and catch a repeat, but apart from that, I'm tuning out.

The crowds at his matches tell a different story. When a guy can get crowds going apeshit for him, and he has limited ring skills, you know he's great at psychology. I'd like to know how you define psychology if a guy who can get the crowd going crazy even though he's limited in the ring has, in your eyes, 'bad' psychology.

Of course he will. What better way to take a lot of internal heat off himself, as well as give himself political capital to ensure fewer jobs in the future.

When he got out of the limo, I thought it was Orton. Masters looked like just another muscular wrestler, and for a guy whose gimmick is his impressive physique, that is not good. He should at least have great abs or something, but Masters looked like any other 280lb musclehead. And the end angle was good, but the talking that led up to it went on for way too long.

I wonder if they'll acknowledge the past that each team has with each other. With E and C, I'm talking about their deal at NYR, and Edge attacking C a month or so ago.

That's probably because Cornette has little interaction with Vince. He mainly deals with JR or Johnny Ace. Not to mention he isn't involved, directly, with creative.
