IIRC, Flair was grooming Austin for a feud with him, and they hadn't yet figured out what to do with Pillman. Then Hogan's arrival ruined it all.

First off, this isn't WWE material. Secondly, they're the greatest tag team that ever lived. Thirdly, at the time they were equals. Both were getting shafted by WCW, got thrown together (neither one was keen on being a team), but made the most of it, bonded in real life and became arguably the top team ever.

From Justin To Kelly. It's under $10 everywhere. Get it now.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on my future, and perhaps subscribe to your newsletter.

Happy birthday to the awesome bastard who scored me Screech's autograph.

Happy Birthday dude. Abobo Mix is coming, I swear!

I found it to be very much like a Troma movie. They know they're not aiming for an Oscar, and they have as much fun with it as they can. If you go in expecting campiness and poking fun at itself, you'll like it like I did.

I think my problem was with them using William James Jones in the role. After having been a major character for a shows entire run, they slap him in a role during a lower rung show's second season? I'll agree, Lazz was much better. Regarding California Dreams, I think that's the show that got better as time went on. The original stories with the Garrison family are probably my least favorite eps. Once Sam and Jake came aboard it got better, and I actually enjoyed the final cast (with Sly's cousin Mark and Lorena) the best. -

3rd season of The New Class was the best, because it had the best storyline and reason for a cast change (new students transferring from Valley due to the school districts expanding). Hang Time actually didn't change the cast that much. The first season group was pretty much done away with, save for Mary Beth, Julie and Vince. Anthony Anderson, the Vince character, and Danny were the only other writeoffs, and they kept Julie, Mary Beth, Kristy, Michael, Silk, Rico, Hammer for the rest of the run. Then they made Jay Hernandez' character permanent when the character of Hammer went to North Carolina to finish high school in order to play for Duke. As for UseTheSledgehammer...I don't care what Dustin Diamond told you. Hell, when I met Dennis Haskins this past spring he said that the New Class wasn't his favorite time. But I enjoyed most of it, and that's all I care about. City Guys was good because it was more "updated" and they didn't have cheesy plots, instead dealing with real issues like gun control, drugs, and date rape. USA High was cool, but I didn't watch much second season. -
Bullshit. Austin would fuck a horse before he worked for Jarrett.

I don't think it was a bunch of comics, I think it was just one rare one. But as far as Sarah Lancaster being there for the one-shot, you're right. I actually don't like the first New Class much (WAY too much of a rip on the original), but felt it got better over time, especially with the Valley kids transfer storyline in Season 3. -
More of Zack's thoughts on Hoff's situation, and a matchup is made for Thanksgiving Star Wars.

I've never heard this, but remembering 5ive as a third-rate boy group during the peak of Boy Group Mania, I can only imagine how horrible this must be Do not speak ill of those who brought us "Baby When The Lights Go Out". Go figure that you would defend even the worst of the boy groups I could defend NSync... maybe even the BSB *shudder*... but not 5ive. They were to boy groups what Pretty Boy Floyd was to hair metal I don't hold 5ive on a pedestal or anything, but "When The Lights Go Out" was damn catchy. The follow up song was meh, and I can't recall anything else of note by them. So it's not OMG YOU MADE TEH FUN OF 5IVE, I'm more of a fan of their single than anything. NSYNC actually got better with time as opposed to worse, like most boy bands. I feel the same way about O-Town, actually, because the second CD was more pop/rock than boyband-ish. BSB stayed consistent, but they were better for ballads than pop songs. 2Gether cannot be looked at as an actual group, but something that was pretty funny and got popular by mocking a trend. And Laz has my back on 2Gether, so it's all good.

When NBC took over from Disney, the plan was made to keep certain cast members and "restart" from California. You're right about the Miss Bliss eps taking place in Indiana though. I'm still marking out over those DVD's. My heart might give out. -

HOLY SWEET MOTHER FLIPPY FUCKING SHIT! I'm so...SO happy right now! Fuck finding tape traders...I've hit the fucking jackpot. ::does Balki's dance of joy:: -
DH, there are actually three mixes, although damned if I can find Mix 3, which is "Chrismukkah" music, just in time for the holidays. Awesome episode. A little bit of a copout on the Jimmy/Hailey deal, but Seth was again gold here, and Ryan's got a new hobby. I already hate DJ the Yard Boy because he has the type of demeanor that makes you want to slap him. Yeah, go ahead and get cocky with me, grasscutter. BTW, I marked the fuck out when Seth made a "Zack Attack" reference, talking about Summer's b/f. Awesomeness. Caleb's in jail, looks like the time is ripe for Julie to really start showing why she married him in the first place. I'm calling Sandy as CEO of The Newport Group, so that Cal can pay him back for everything he's put him through. Unless they work the whole deal where he can't since Sandy's his lawyer, in which case I say he picks Jimmy.

Pyromaniac wins this round. So now, he's booked the following for this show: UWE Title: Randy Savage© vs. Shawn Michaels Sid vs. Brian Pillman DDR final: Blue Meanie vs. La Parka And apparently Shamrock vs. Windham, according to their confrontation. So, the stips this time around: Four corners tag team match to see who will take on the champs come the next PPV. Name the next PPV. Masked Man cuts a vignette on his target for the PPV. Run a skit involving Punk, Kamala, Dustin Vice, a thighmaster, and the mens room. Have a "wild card" match, because the semi-main at the PPV will be a 4 on 4 "Random Act of Violence", similar to the Survivor Series '95 Wild Card match with faces and heels teaming together. Try to set up some storylines for it.

You will also not speak ill of 2Gether.
