Whaddya mean "unfortunately"? That song is quite awesome, and a fun club tune. I also saw them live as part of a local radio station concert back in 2000.

We could just use "Faded" and have the theme done by Soul Decision. I think only Northstar and I even KNOW that song, let alone like it.

I like "Natural" myself. But that would require us to wrestle nude, and there's NO WAY I'm doing that. Although I am the guy feuding with the female...

How about "Autumn Bomb"?

I think they're gonna run with some form of RAW vs. Smackdown at SS. That being said, I could see Orton as the captain of the RAW squad with Benoit, Michaels, Edge and Christian (mixed group of RAW talent, since it's not really face vs. heel, it's show vs. show). They'd take on Bradshaw, Angle, Guerrero, Cena and Van Dam. SD! wins when Triple H runs out and costs Orton the match, and tells Bischoff (who'd be pissed at losing to SD!) that getting at Orton and wanting the title back is more important than even the RAW brand as a whole.

Since you died, Inc, what were you buried with? And don't say the Miles Davis shirt, because that's just asking for Banky to start commiting Floridian grave robberies in hopes of claiming it. -
There was actually a Mr. Perfect face scanned that was to be in the old Unchained Fury series about two years ago, but the figure got cancelled when Hennig got fired. There were plans to put him in the fourth series, but it's obviously a no-go right now. Perhaps in one of the later editions of the line.

That was the idea I once had behind Title Wave, until Northstar and I came up with the concept of having multiple titles at stake in one match. That still stands out as one of my favorite OAOAST matches to do, as well as read.

I think I once suggested Climax as the Dec./end of the year show. Others: OAOAST Criminal Intent (although IMO, it'd be similar to the This Ain't Oz prison theme. Could always switch it to Hostile Intent, or something). OAOAST Off The Hook OAOAST Uprising (I'd envision this as a "newcomers/upstarts vs. the veterans type of PPV) OAOAST Point of Impact OAOAST Zero Tolerance

They had to play it that way though, because the storyline was that Rude was bringing in challengers to "toughen him up", then got his own enforcer to turn against him. Rude then jumped to WCW and left the angle in the dust, so there was really no point in keeping it on Bam Bam.

Even his drunkeness wouldn't keep him away from here. It fuels his surly nature, and typically makes for a good time on otherwise slow news days. -
November Reign. A play on the Guns N' Roses song that I used to use in my EWR game.

It can't be Hoff. Thrillogy unity and all that!

Have you made out a will, and if so, do any TSMers stand to inherit any of your belongings? -

Somehow I don't think death via hurricane whilst on TSM was the way you wanted to go, Inc. At least the inebriation should soothe things for you. -
1) Stevie Richards showing up...was this when he was with WCW (and if so why was he allowed to be on the show), was he with the WWF who were obviously involved with ECW at the time or was this an actual return to ECW? This was after Richards' brief WCW run with Raven and The Flock. Richards was actually set to win the ECW Title due to his popularity from the bWo gimmick, but bolted for WCW during an injury hiatus. He was crowned "Superstar" Stevie Richards during this return, but was gone shortly after, only to turn up in the WWF in '98. 2) Lance Wright's bodyguard who Tazz punks out wrestled for the WWF as Brakkus, right? That was Brakkus, who was notable for mumbling, incoherent promos, a match with Jesus of the Boricuas on RAW, and getting his ass kicked in the Brawl For All, IIRC. 3) What was the deal with Douglas after his match? He had injuries going in I understand, but did he have legitimate injuries from the match because his post-match 'celebration' certainly seemed that way. The PPV was in Shane's hometown. The Douglas/Bigelow deal was them trying to do the "hometown hero overcomes monster heel" type of story. Only problem is that Douglas was the heel up to that point, and Bigelow had just recently gone face to challenge him for/win the belt. 4) What was the deal with Al Snow and Head's origin? It was a spoof on a lot of the insider dirt at the time, but got over huge. Meltzer thought it was too inside for casual fans, but found it to be pretty funny. And 5) What the FUCK was up with Lance Storm hair? Seriously, that ponytail was horrendous. The man obviously was stuck in 1992. Although it's a good thing he was a heel at that point, because I couldn't get behind a babyface with a Marky Mark and The Funky Bunch haircut.

WWE was actually interested in this guy a while ago, as he had several good dark match and Heat outings. IIRC, he came out with the "magic carpet" gimmick on Heat during the past year at some point.

I actually have that issue of THING somewhere. Got it in a comic bundle my grandmother used to order me every Christmas from the JC Penney catalog (one of those "50 Comics Mega Packs" or something).

Samaire Armstrong AND Jeremy Piven (whom I've enjoyed ever since PCU)!? I'm there. Do they replay the early eps often enough so that I'm not stuck in the middle?

Drive My grade: A Stars:Mark Dacascos, Kadeem Hardison, Brittany Murphy, and a slew of bad guys who exist to get their asses kicked. A longtime favorite of mine, I recently got around to watching the DVD (which I just bought after over a year of being outbid for the previous, out of print DVD release on Ebay). Drive may seem like your typical "buddy cop/clashing personalities/kick some ass shoot 'em up chop-sockey flick...but it's not. The martial arts are flawless and fascinating. The banter between Dacascos' Toby Wong and Kadeem Hardison's Malik Brody is funny. Murphy plays her typical loopy self to a T, and also serves as a psuedo love-interest since she's digging Malik (though he's trying to get back with his wife in a minor plot point). Anyhow, we screened this this past week at my coffee shop hangout, since the owner keeps a DVD player there solely for the purpose of me bringing in DVD's to watch. We usually get a good amount of customers sticking around, as well as my usual entourage, so I figured why not show off one of my favorite movies, right? Well, everyone loved it (dead serious, this movie got applause from random coffee shop customers, and more than a few "Holy Shit!"'s). Now, I must preach to TSM about how good it is. I won't go into great detail since I feel that this is one DTV movie worth getting, so here's a plot overview. Toby Wong is on the run from an EVIL~! corperation hellbent on making the perfect killing machine. The only problem is that Toby doesn't want any part of it, and in fact wants the technology implanted in his chest taken out. Another company in LA agrees to do this...and give him $5 million for his trouble. The EVIL~! corporation has dispatched a slew of henchmen led by Southern hothead Vic Madison on Wong's trail, and right off the bat we get a fight scene on a California dock. Wong escapes certain doom and the fight carries over to a bar that was open early so that Malik had a place to pen his "hit song". Wong comes in, bad guys come in, and much more fighting ensues. In order to get out of the jam once the cops come, Wong takes Malik hostage and forces him to drive him to LA. Reluctantly (as reluctant as one can be when a semi-automatic weapon is pointed at you), Malik agrees. Needless to say, LA does not come easy for these two, as roadblocks, crooked cops, the aforementioned henchmen, and a run-in with a ditzy hotel manager keep this movie flowing. The fight scene at the end, which takes place in a NASA-themed bar, features dirt bike riding goons, Madison pulling a whip on Malik (which leads to the classic line "Don't you EVER pull a whip on a black man!" as Malik is fighting back), and Wong's showdown with the new TurboDrive model. It is a thing of beauty. Dacascos has long been my favorite martial arts star (ever since Only The Strong), and Hardison is funny and totally leaves the Dwayne Wayne character in A Different World (pun intended). Give it a rental, or buy it on the cheap at Circuit City (where I found mine for $9.99) or BestBuy.com (where it's $12.99 plus free shipping). Rant over.

You know, I've been meaning to check this out for weeks now. NBT, you and I are right up there as far as similar tastes go, so what's the gist of it (I know the basic premise is a Hollywood star and his friends) and think I'd like it?

Chappele's not a sitcom, he's a sketch show, so chalk one up for him from me. The OC is probably my favorite non-comedy show. For something that people were gonna write off as a 90210 ripoff, it's got a brilliant writing staff and awesome cast. Sopranos, of course. I also enjoy CSI, NYPD Blue, whichever Law & Order it is that has Vincent D'Onfrio (I honestly am not sure which one it is, because I always seem to catch it just after it starts or something), or any of the VH1 countdowns or "I Love..." specials that get played 75 times a week. I'm nostalgic like that.

That's actually good news for me and CC, who planned on co-writing something.
