You mean Monster Squad, from '87? Where Frankenstein was a babyface? Another awesome movie, I WISH I had this. BOTB 1 and 2 ruled, the jury is out so far because I haven't seen 3 or 4 yet. Shootfighter was awesome. I know there is a sequel where a cop forces them to fight again as part of his vengeance on someone, or something like that, but I haven't seen it either.

Ahem. Look up a few posts.

I'm still waiting for the Bradshaw joke in here.

Could be Dreamer, maybe feeling the need to stick up for an old friend in RF? Tommy's a genuinely nice guy, but if it were him, maybe his carefree attitude caused him to look at this in an entirely (and in my opinion, untrue) fashion. RF's a sick fuck, and there's no beating around it.

That would have made for an awesome ending. As for the "getting into the mall", could it be that the zombie guard (did they call him Ben?) that attacked them at the water fountain was out on patrol or something? That could explain a)how they got in, and b)how he got bitten in the first place. Same could go for the janitor. -
Best of the Best is another favorite of mine. However, part 2 is more of a "so bad it's good movie", with the underground casino fighting, Wayne Newton as the heel promoter, and the fact that Asian Tommy has family on an Indian reservation. I just taped part 3 off HBO but haven't watched it yet. All I know is it has Tommy, Gina Gershon, and a plot about white supremacists ruining a town. I'm a sucker for martial arts movies. So many of 'em fall into this category, I could be here all day.

Capoiera. And that movie rocks. I just found it on DVD and brought it to my coffee shop hangout for the movie nights I run there. I adore this flick. Mark Dacascos owns. They have this movie on DVD? SWWWWWWWEEEEETTTT $6.99 at Circuit City here in RI, baybee! I was shocked to find it myself.

The Dude was going to be short-packed (one per four cases), but that idea was scrapped. He'll now be in the assortments.

Series 3 will be out in summertime as well. It's rumored to be DiBiase, Snuka, Mr. Perfect, Jake Roberts, a new Bret, and a new Warrior.

It's one of the two e-feds on the board, along with the SWF. While they've got a good system of competitive writing going, ours is more laid back for the most part. Just a way to be creative and have some fun. More or less an "extracurricular activity" while you're on the board.

If you remember the Undertaker angle with the "Creatures Of The Night" in the crowd (during the Kama feud I think), Doug was one of them.
-
Damaja (Danny Basham) isn't bad either from what I've seen of him, however Doug Basham is good both on the mic and in the ring, so he'd exceed far more as a solo. I loved the promo he did back in Dec. of 2001 where Cornette tried to fire him from OVW, but Basham revealed he owned stock in the company and wasn't going to let himself be fired.

He quit at the beginning of January, at the Smackdown that was from the Mohegan Sun Casino in CT. He's already been working Japan and some indies, and will most likely wind up in TNA in a few weeks, as he's talked with them about appearing once his no compete runs out.
-
OK, Grenier IS on OVW's alumni page, but he could be one of the guys who simply trained/worked out a bit. Sakoda is another example of a guy who went for a short-term, never wound up on OVW TV, and just worked out.
-
Spanky quit though, and I don't think he'll want to go back anytime soon.

Nova would most likely be the first one to get the call. And I'm not saying move ALL the cruisers to ECW. Just the ones that need something to do. I'm talking more along the lines of London or Shannon Moore, with Nunzio thrown in due to his ECW ties. Then that would allow for Palumbo and Stamboli to be used in more of a brawling setting, something they might actually be worthwhile in.
-
Grenier, to the best of my knowledge, has never spent any length of time in OVW. At the most, he probably just did a few training sessions. I can always check, since I've got all OVW TV Tapes from '99 to now at my disposal. From what I've heard from a few people, Grenier got into the WWF solely on his Patterson connections. Take that as you will.
-
I wouldn't mind seeing a few of the lesser cruisers shifted to ECW to fit in with the (hopefully) more high-impact style. Paul London vs. RVD could get over very well IMO, especially amongst smarks. If WGTT gets broken up, I could see Charlie Haas trying to be the moral majority of ECW. Almost in Angle-like fashion, he could be like "You need to use weapons to beat each other, all I need is my God-given ability".
-
Amen to Sleepaway Camp. The ending alone makes that movie worth buying. I also second Seven and The Usual Suspects, two other favorites of mine.
-
Who would be in ECW, besides the obvious though? They can't expect it to survive on a roster of The Dudleys, RVD, Dreamer and Rhyno, as most of the ex-ECW crew are stale and or positioned as nothing more than fodder. They'd need a few new faces, and one or two highly over guys to make it work.

Grenier showed some charisma as the EEEVIL French-Can heel referee, and since he frankly sucks once he steps into the ring, something like that wouldn't be a bad idea. However, I doubt that's what will be done with him. Now, if he sucked in the ring, had some charisma, and started in WCW, WWE might just fire him. However, since he's got ties with Patterson and is an OVW product, he'll be another Road Dogg, minus the massively-over gimmick. Grenier isn't an OVW product. He didn't come from there, and from what I know, he hasn't been there during his rehab (unless we just never saw him on OWV a la Nathan Jones, but there was a reason for that, and you must REALLY suck if you can't make it on OVW TV. That's not a knock on OVW talent, some of which is really good, but there are some who aren't ready for prime time and it shows). If anything, I think Dupree would be the one to split off from the group, and Conway would pick up the slack for Grenier. Dupree is the one that the WWE is really high on, due to his youth and charisma. He's not wretched in the ring, but still has learning to do. Plus, that dance of his is going to be over like gangbusters soon enough, mark my words.

What if McMahon shifts Bischoff to Smackdown, and has Austin remain the GM on RAW? Then Bischoff doesn't have any of his yes men (unless a few get shifted over as well). They could even do a promo with Eddie and Bischoff where Eddie mentions that 6 years ago he walked out on Bischoff (remember that angle on Nitro in summer of '98?), and now here he is, walking in his office as champion. I also say that they do a title shift, and Orton takes himself and the IC to Smackdown for Cena and the US, but that's only if Michaels kicks into full heel mode in the next few weeks, otherwise RAW would be too face heavy (Benoit, Michaels, Edge, Jericho and Cena as major faces, plus RVD and Booker as the most over of the midcarders).
