I just got Quote The Raven and the show featuring the Shelley/Jacobs 3 match series, so I'll toss in my two cents once I get through both of them this week. Jay did a review of the Shelley/Jacobs tape a while back on the main site, so you might want to give that a lookover.

Save for Chris Cash, B-Boy, Sonjay (who I can see in MLW and TNA) and Jimmy Rave (who I can see in Wildside or ROH), I don't think there's anyone left that I truly like.

Uh, I checked for more artwork, and got Dama and Kotz arguing over hip shaking? I'll be off to the club now...

Charlie Ward is the same guy who was Patrick Ewing, Still God, who had a name before that. And that was during all the Eagan shit, so I don't think that theory holds up.

Messiah gone too? So...Mondo, Messiah, and the Boyz, all within a few months of each other are not in CZW for one reason or another? At least I'll always have my tapes, because things are definitely becoming of teh suck in CZDub land. Fucking Zandig.

Since it's the Valentine's Day Addition... Northstar presents the 1st Annual Matchmaker's Mayhem Match: Zack Malibu and Ragdoll vs. Damaramu and Crystal I figure we can do shared writing duties and make this a good matchup, so Dama, Rags or CC, let me know if you have time to work on portions this week.

The Se7en gimmick was not about kidnapping kids. That was the reason that the gimmick was scrapped...that the promo's with Dustin peering into the kids window made it look like he was a pedophile. The gimmick was supposed to tie into a Raven/KISS Demon feud, where Raven would be "saving souls" and make them servants to him, and The Demon would come to "break the spell" Raven cast on them. When it turned out Raven would be a puppet to the Se7en character, he backed out. The gimmick was given to Vampiro, who started saving jobber/opener guys (I remember Evan Karagias being one of them), and saying "you owe me", before The Demon showed up (Brian Adams era Demon) and facing off with Vamp in promo's. The the whole deal got dropped, Vamp went on to go with the Misfits, and Dale Torborg became The Demon (and eventually became part of Vamp's stable during the Sting/Vampiro feud). And I'll say it again...A Dusty/Dustin tag team against a heel America's Most Wanted (after they turn on "mentor" Dusty, who has helped them on several occasions) would be a great old fashioned Memphis tag feud that I think the crowd would eat up.

Did I mention you get royalties for any appearances you make?

Chave buddy, it just seems...forced. Here, I'll get out my video camera so we can picture the Life of Chave au natural, as it happens every day. ::Chave strips down to his birthday suit, and brings out a goat on a leash.:: ...dammit dude, it's not that kind of movie.

This semester, I'm taking a Field Placement/Observation class in college, which is more or less a work study program where you go into your selected field for training and a feeling out process of what you're going to be doing once you have that college degree. I'm an Education/Special Education major, so I got placed at a school (by my choice) near my house that has a mixed group of typical kids, as well as those with special needs. I was supposed to start 2 weeks ago on Wed., but a snowstorm here caused the school to be cancelled. So I started this past Wednesday, and I have to say I absolutely loved it. I'm in the primary classroom, helping kids ages 6-10 who have special needs (there are six kids in all), and then kids from the kindergarten room next door come over to play with them for the latter half of the day (there were three typical kids from the kindergarten that came over, I don't believe the special needs kids in the Kindergarten come into the room, but again, I've only been there one day). So I got there on Wednesday and pretty much dove right in. There's a teacher and an assistant in the room, plus me, so it's not like I was ever alone or put in a spot where I didn't know what to do. The kids took to me immediately (luckily for me), and I even took one of them for a walk around the building when I was given a tour of the whole school. I helped the teacher film at lunch time, as they record the progress of the special needs kids while they're eating, their motor skills, etc. I oversaw morning group with them, played with Lego's, and just generally tried to interact as much as I could so the kids weren't shy/afraid of the new adult in the room. Being that it's work/study, I assumed that I'd be going nonstop all day, but I was told that I'm to act like a worker, which meant a 15 minute break in the morning and a half an hour for lunch in the afternoon. Rather than just waste the time, I used it to walk around and meet the rest of the staff, and apparently I've turned a few heads since I was asked by some of the older women if I was single so that I can get hooked up with some of the younger teachers (yes, my first day on the job, and I was being hit on). I blended in pretty well with the staff, to the point where they commended me on the job I had done on Wednesday, and they all said that I should work there as soon as I can (I believe you need an associates, which is what I'm going for now, to be a full time worker there, but I'm going to find out), and that they'd gladly put in the good word for me. All this on just my first day, and it really overwhelmed me. I still have the whole rest of the semester to look forward too, plus there are other Field classes that have to be taken in sequence (you must pass Field 1 to move on to Field 2, etc., but it can be done all at one place, so I'm staying put in this school). Looks like my teaching career is going to get off to a rocking start, and I figured I'd just share my excitement about it with you guys here on the board.

I'll probably stick with the special needs kids, at least for now, but once I get my Bachelors, I might look into elementary schools.
-
Dude, they're young special needs kids. That's just not right.

Hola gang, Just wanted to give you the heads up that some of hD~! may be posted soon, but I don't know if I can get to all of it. I'm heading home in a bit (where I'll have time to do some posting), but I got an invite out with friends tonight and may not be able to finish the rest of the show until later. Just a little notice in case you think I forgot your segment or something. The "final" version of the show may not be done until later, but I do have all your stuff and it'll be up sometime tonight. Thanks, Zack

Thanks Frigid, but at the same time you posted this, Northstar had PM'd me about it, so he got dibs . Seriously though, thanks.

He messed with WJM. His thread should burn just for that.

I could see Dustin Rhodes going into the group too. Spanky and Gowen would make a good young heel team, IMO. Spanky has played the cocky SOB who acts bigger than life before (ROH), and I'd mark for Gowen using his prosthesis as a weapon. They shouldn't be the focal points of the group, but as the team of the stable, I could see it.

*runs away giggling like Homer Simpson after altering Malibu's words* ::chases FrigidSoul with broom in hand::
-
Don't even ask about Rod, you don't wanna know. Hey Hoff, are WJM and I allowed to get flirty while on the job here? Chave kinda came down hard on us for that.
-
Dammit Dama, don't let your homoerotic role plays drive off the clientele.

Sorry Choken, but it's not just a rap DVD to hype the album. I got a preview sheet from Sony at work, and it says that the DVD will include highlights of his feuds with Brock and Undertaker, his battle raps with Angle and Show, the rap from Baghdad, unedited material, and 2 hours of DVD extras with matches, such as ones against Benoit, Eddie, Angle, Undertaker and Brock, plus more. Like I said in the other thread, I like the guy but I think it's way too soon for a DVD. Understandably though, they're getting the marketing machine behind him so I'd call that a good thing.

Uh oh, the owners of The Royal Blue are gonna be pissed... ::leads bar in drunken rendition of "Pour Some Sugar On Me"::

You mean moreso than the one this thread turned into?
-
This is the thread that never ends. It goes on and on my friends.

My sources tell me your sources suck.
