If this whole deal was legit and not just a rib, and Dreamer winds up shitcanned, you KNOW that TNA'll take him in a nanosecond, just so he and Raven can do their thing one more time. With Tommy as a heel this time around (Nashville loves Raven) they could work in their past and have a killer feud, IMO.

How the hell did Jeff Jarrett bury The Truth? He never squashed him, or buried him in a promo. Truth got lost in the shuffle of the Russo storyline, and management had no clue how to use him until recently. Stop blaming Jeff Jarrett for everyone's reputation in TNA.

Uh, hate to tell you, but he didn't feud with Jarrett until over a year later. Dustin was brawling with Terry Funk shortly after the arrival, and Jarrett was feuding with Sid. And considering the angle was Dusty/Dustin vs. Jarrett and Flair, I don't think anyone involved was squashed.

Jarrett waited until November of 2002 to put the belt on himself. Reason being is that at the time the company was just getting off the ground, and the choices for a champion were pretty rough. You had Shamrock, whom they thought would be good but had no real charisma/fan interaction. Scott "Alka" Hall would be too much of a risk. No way in hell was Brian Christopher getting a World Title, and Ron Killings was still on his way up the card. When Killings took off, they capitalized and put the belt on him, THEN Jarrett got the belt. In the meantime, the man feuded with A COUNTRY SINGER AND NASCAR DRIVER, taking bumps for them and everything. Granted, his strong booking of himself these days is not what I look forward to, but give Jarrett the credit that he did not make himself out to be the franchise of this promotion right off the bat.
