The gift that keeps on giving, eh? I suppose I should be lucky that I'm spared your wrath, if only for one day. Then again, I plan on a birthday shitfacing, so I'd probably mistake you for Barron and then order myself another drink.

I've never cried, but have commited bodily harm to many a system in my day.

Series Finale of California Dreams. The climax of Armageddon.

Uh, Spike, we've got all the XPW DVD's at work. In case you didn't know the site, www.wrestlingsuperstore.com Cheap plug is now over.

Buy Saved By The Bell:Hawiian Style and play it over and over. Well, what did you expect me to say? Seriously though, some hula girls scattered about, leis for everyone, maybe coconut shell cups (or real ones, if you're daring) to drink out of, and grass skirts for the females would do the trick.

Blah. We got into a little fight, but we've talked and everything is fine now... SO BACK OFF, YOU BASTARDS. Psssh, boyfriends never stopped me before, and that was with lesser women. Imagine how hard I'd try NOW, lol.

I take adult medium or large, either or. I'd also like to say that I have those kickass WWE Classic shirts at work. The Mr. Fuji one is best.

LOL. Vengeance, thy name is Dames. Run in fear, children.

That better not be an insult, Doring. -

Credible is heading to Japan for All-Japan, which is why I think they're running this angle. I can't see Lynn being a commisioner. It'd have to be someone good on the stick (or SHOULD be, at least). Terry Funk? -
First appeared in the WWF as a heel under the management of Freddie Blassie before returning years later as Hulk Hogan. Movies routinely drew shitty at the box office

The RAW was pre-taped. It also came a week or two after the Montreal incident, which Rude did not feel comfortable with. I have the segment in question, as well as the RAW on tape. I'm pretty sure it's the RAW where DX TP'd the ring, while on Nitro, the NWO came out for a promo and Hogan was waving someone on, and through the smoke came Rude, shocking the living hell outta me.

According to this weeks Torch, the Stevie/Victoria vs. Rico/Jackie matches may be part of an upcoming angle. In RAW commentary they are (and will be I guess) dropping subtle hints questioning Stevie's sexual preferences, leading to some type of run-in with Rico, which will in turn lead to the feud/mixed tags.

No kidding, bps. Raven is also one of those guys who, when he hangs up the trunks, I'd LOVE to see in the booth. Imagine Raven as an objective commentator, putting matches over. That'd be a tremendous asset, and something better to look forward to than Jerry "Puppies" Lawler".

Which means it should be on newstands this coming week. BOOYAH~! I've gotta save the exclusive pics from the Stuff website and print them out. Mmmm mmm good.

We can't let that happen before we have Jarrett go over Punk and/or Raven. Dear God, don't let THAT argument seep into this thread.
-
Bradley got a raw deal from WWE. They were setting him up to be their version of RVD, but when they got RVD himself, Bradley got the can. Too bad, because he's a great talent.
-
A cool twist, rather than the Straight Edge thing (which could possibly be used sparringly in relation to the angle) could be Punk idolizing Raven as had been said, and then turning on him. Then Punk can cut promo's about how Raven now has to battle "himself", talking about how he has become Raven's worst enemy by becoming just like Raven himself. Say that all that Punk once believed in went out the window when Raven took him in, but now it's time to fly the coop. Then let Punk go on a tear, taking out some expendable babyfaces in similar fashion as to how Raven has handled The New Church (bloody them, hang them, etc.). Imagine the philosophical promos they could cut on each other. A feud like that would be a winner, IMO.
-
The Straight Edge gig would get him over as a major heel. Remember when Jarrett (as a face) cut the promo on Raven running him down for being a drunk and a drug addict unworthy of holding a World Championship, and people cheered? There you go. That said, I'm REALLY hoping that Tommy Dreamer gets released in the near future, or even Steven Richards. A revitalized ECW feud done in TNA with one of the two guys Raven helped make famous, with Raven as the face in it all, could lead to some great brawls and angles.

Corey, I don't think ANYTHING could be worse than the RIWA/NEWA "wrasslers". At least these guys were trained (a lot of guys around here weren't, and just do it for shits and giggles), and have had some experience in legit feds (Bradley in Memphis, HWA, Arion in ROH, etc.)

Bump, since it's not visible on the main OAOAST page for some reason.

OAOAST HeldDOWN~! November 13, 2003 Lucy Woodward's "Trust Me (You Don't Wanna See This)" greets us yet again, seemingly taking Tommy Lee's "Hold Me Down" out of the traditional opening video. The rapid-fire video clips, ending with our esteemed General Manager standing triumphant, then segues into the arena... Pyro EXPLODES~! Fireworks ERUPT~! Fans CHEER~! Signs are RAISED~! It's OAOAST HeldDOWN~! Calling the action as only they can are our hosts for the evening. One guy is dying to meet a boyband, while the other would settle for the groupies, we take you now to the plush area now being called "Sofa Central", where our commentators are... Who else but MICHAEL COLE AND JONATHAN COACHMAN~! COLE What a night it's going to be, here on OAOAST HeldDOWN~! Hi everybody, I'm Michael Cole... COACH ...and I'm the hostess with the mostess, DA COACH~! Whoo, don't hurt me now! COLE If you keep talking like that, someone is bound too. COACH Just cuz you ain't down doesn't mean you can put me down! COLE I'll tell Crystal about your doll collection. COACH For the last time, they are ACTION FIGURES! I...wait, uh uh, you ain't gonna drag me into a fight on the air. Tell 'em what's in store tonight, will ya? COLE You bet I will. Fans, the last few weeks here on HeldDOWN~! have been unpredictable to say the least. Since the arrival two weeks ago of CWM's allies, known as The Underground, our brand has been thrown into disarray. Add in the fact that our reknowned General Manager, Tim Moysey, has lost his powers to Northstar, and we've undergone quite a culture shock. Tonight, OAOAST HeldDOWN~! looks to bring some of that to a head, as Northstar has booked one hell of a main event. COACH That's right. Northstar has granted The Underground access to our show yet again. Some people say it's for ratings, others say he's in their pocket, but no one is really sure why. All we know is that Underground stars will be in action tonight, including our main event. CWM, the current 24/7 Champion, will tag up with Underground stars J. Arthur Edwards, Gunner Sharps, and The New Me to take on a team of HeldDOWN~! representatives. COLE What a team that is. In order to protect his "investment" as he calls it in the Elimination Chamber matchup at the upcoming PPV, Northstar has taken OAOAST World Champion Calvin Szechstein, former X Champion Ragdoll, and the Female Phenom Crystal and made them a part of Zack Malibu's Team Malibu here tonight! COACH There is a lot to be said about that team. Zack and Calvin have had wars for months now. Crystal just lost a close one to Calvin, nearly becoming the first female World Champion in history. As for Ragdoll, well, what else needs to be said about a man who will turn on you at the drop of a hat. He betrayed his own flesh and blood! COLE It's an interesting situation to say the least, but this is a time where we can't put our own interests on top, and we have to make brand unity a priority. We're dealing with another brand as competition, putting us through a ratings war, and now an invading force led by a man who knows the ins and outs of this company very well. It's a highly volatile situation. COACH You got that right. COLE Also tonight, Jacob Lyne, an impressive newcomer who is also known to affiliate with The Underground will take part in a four way dance. His opponents? Brock Ausstin, Panther, and a man making his in-ring debut after weeks of hype, Sturgis. COACH I'll give it to the Lyne kid, he gets mad props from me. Sturgis, can't say I know where he stands, because I'm not even sure if he knows. And Panther and Brock have been ripping it up here the last few weeks. COLE It's going to be a hell of a show, and I'm going to lose my voice just hyping it up, so let's get to the ring and kick things off, here on OAOAST HeldDOWN~!

You know, I completely overlooked the Woburn thing. NOW how far do I have to drive? Grrrr...
