Props go out to my good buddy on this milestone in his life. You can now legally drink. Make the most of it!

You know, I said this a few weeks ago... If Hogan is in for a few shows, why not do a Kid Kash/Hogan feud (carrying on Kash's "Legend Killer" bit), have Abyss run in for the DQ, they destroy Hogan, and both look like badasses. Then you have Hogan fight Abyss, win, and afterwards Kash attacks Abyss. Then you have the Abyss face turn they hint at, and asshole Kash is finally up against someone with a shot of killing him.
-
By Hogan's theme do you mean "Real American", or Hendrix? I'm gonna laugh my ass off if I'm ever in Providence Place and hear "Real American" coming from someone's pocket. At least I'll know it's you though.

Hey Parka, Chosun, and the rest of the gang... What about Dream Machines vs. Axel, Colvid AND Sly, 3-on-2 for the OAOAST World Tag Team Titles?

Everything due in by Wed. night gang.

I can't see how being a Raven mark is clouding your judgement, when his feud has been one of the most consistent and thought out. He's fighting hired goons, guys with name recognition, that are being sent after him by a manager. The way you say "he's feuding with a manager" makes it sound like when Ultimate Warrior fought Bobby Heenan in "weasel suit matches". Mitchell hasn't been involved in any of the in-ring action, the heat has been great, and guys like Julio, Punk, Slash et al are getting more over by the feud as well. Onto the JJ/Hogan thing, I'm pretty damn sure Jarrett of all people will not cater to Hogan's ego, so why worry? Yeah sure Jarrett is gonna get the belt again, honestly I think just so they can do Raven/JJ II and get the belt on Raven finally. If Hogan EVER got the belt, I think it'd be more or less a transition move to give the title some cred, and then put over someone more worthwhile. The Observer said that Raven would feud with Mitchell as opposed to a wrestler as an excuse for them to bring in flaky or unreliable workers (Douglas and Vampiro) and have them fight Raven. And for the #473838398 time, Jarrett wont put Raven over for the belt. Ever I'd bet anything Jarrett WOULD put Raven over, considering TNA guys have more to GAIN if they "rebelled". We always talk about WWE guys standing up to Triple H, but can't due to breach of contract and the like. What's to stop guys from saying "I'll go work ROH until that merchandising deal runs out with you, then I'm going to Vince" if JJ starts booking everything around himself.

I understand that was probably sarcasm, but we haven't seen Cheex since week 2, and Monty Brown was pretty good for what he did. Had he stuck around, I think he'd be a fairly over midcarder.

Dear Diary, Methinks The New Me is fucked up. Go New Me! I have to get a calling card today so I can call the HGC in Greece. Or I could just use the house phone instead of my cell, and leave town before the bill comes. Runnin' up the phone bill, Zack

What was the legit point? Has Panda pandered to ANYONE in the promotion thus far? They're INVESTORS. They aren't a bunch of marks who started a company and run the day to day operation.
-
Panda invests money, they don't book the shows. I'm pretty sure that Jerry Jarrett of all people will know what's going to sink or swim his company.
-
And that feud has gotten the most heat and been incredibly well-booked. He's not feuding with the manager IN THE RING, he's feuding with people being brought in to take him out. Hell half the people here HATE Shane Douglas (not me, I'm a mark) but all agree that the matches with Raven have been well booked and fun.

A few things... This means the obvious double turn (Styles to a face, Jarrett to a heel) will happen during their title match. JJ and Russo will *finally* align. Hogan's name attatched to the promotion will mean more mainstream appeal and attention. You people act like Hogan is coming in, winning the belt, putting the tag straps on Duggan and Beefcake, and then going off to make another movie. I don't think TNA is that stupid.

...while we get sloshed and bastardize classic songs in off key fashion! Since I'm shameless, I'll go up and sing first. Twisted Sister --- I Wanna Rock I wanna rock! (Rock) I wanna rock! (Rock) I want to rock (Rock) I wanna rock! (Rock) Turn it down you say, Well all I got to say to you is time again I say, "No!" No! No, No, No, No, No! Tell me not to play Well, all I got to say to you when you tell me not to play, I say, "No!" No! No, No, No, No, No! So, if you ask me why I like the way I play it There's only one thing I can say to you I wanna rock! (Rock) I wanna rock! (Rock) I want to rock (Rock) I wanna rock! (Rock) There's a feelin' that I get from nothin' else and there ain't nothin' in the world That makes me go! Go! Go, go, go, go, go! Turn the power up I've waited for so long so I could hear my favorite song so, Let's go! Go! Go, go, go, go, go! When it's like this I feel the music shootin' through me There's nothin' else that I would rather do I wanna rock! (Rock) I wanna rock! (Rock) I want to rock (Rock) I wanna rock! (Rock) C'mon people, join in, and don't forget to tip the bartender. And CWM...stop trying to spike Johnson's drink. I don't need the cops on my case already.

You're more than welcome to it, but I don't have the TSM modifying power. Talk to Tony.

And I'm an admin, so watch yourselves.

TSM Poster Tournament II: Semi-Finals

SOMEONE is sucking the infested donkey dick... Ingrate. -
Shit, I'd buy all of these movies if they were real. As for Boiler Room, that was a wicked good movie, but yeah Diesel seemed a bit out of place amongst the rest of the cast.
-
OR, they could do a Three Men and a Baby remake, where they play former boxers down on their luck who find a baby girl on their step. Turns out the girl was left their by her mother (Teri Hatcher) who is on the run from a mob boss played by Andrew Dice Clay (in a rare serious performance). Throw in the OMG SWERVE that Dice is the father of the baby (and the moral issues going along with it) and we've got another hot direct to Blockbuster masterpiece.
-
I don't mind him. It's not like some of the more heralded action stars while we were growing up were any better. I thought he was good in A Man Apart. That movie kicked ass. I knew somebody out there liked A Man Apart, or Vin Diesel for that matter. Glad I wasn't the only one. I like Vin, he's OK. A Man Apart was a damn good flick, and that one scene where he flips (you know the one) was so freakin' intense, I loved it. Knockaround Guys was another good movie with him as the "badass with a heart".
-
Betcha any money when it comes to that point, you have a direct to video action blowaway with Diesel, Van Damme, and Seagal. C'mon, who WOULDN'T wanna see a street racer get put into a coma only to awaken and team with his shady yet goodhearted twin to get the drug dealers who murdered their parents because their parents were part of a secret spy organization that did undercover work in Thailand? I'd camp out in front of Blockbuster for that shit. Universal Soldier would kickass if Vin took the role of the renegade soldier and is chased by Van Dam as the only one who can stop him and Gary Busey as the crazy govt politician trying to destroy an Indian Reservation that is sitting on an oil field, of course Steven Segal would step in to protect nature. Or he can be a street racer that has to help his friend fight off Jamacians in a Kumate and Steven Segal as the cop who Miracilously never gets injured(or hit) through the whole movie. Vin can yell to Van Damne when Bolo Yung(with dread locks) blinds him, telling him where to punch. Then Segal just comes in and kicks his ass without getting hit...basically like every Steven Segal movie EVER!! Or they could go the "badass rapper sidekick" route that made Exit Wounds et al good movies. DMX and Ice Cube are too big budget for this, so take I dunno...Biz Markie and have him be Seagal's wisecracking partner in a police headquarters that is overwhelmed by corruption, with Van Damme and Diesel as the undercover anithero good guys who are pretending to be bad (or are they), Alyssa Milano as the love interest that the three guys fawn and fight over, and Cary Hirouki-Tagawa as the Yakuza goon responsible for buying off the cops and transporting drugs in these hot rod racers. Have Cynthia Rothrock make a cameo to beat the piss out of Milano's character and we've got a winner.
