The Match: Smooth walks into a high dropkick from Dunn, almost losing several teeth in the process. Flying elbow from Dunn connects. Dunn tags out to Marcos. Marcos hits a short arm drag on Smooth. Covers for a quick two count. GQ Smooth is able to duck a clothesline attempt and connect with a counter clothesline. Smooth tags out to Zack Sommers. Second rope flying axe handle, Marcos goes down. One day, Zack might even consider coming off the top with that. You know...for more impact and stuff. Zack crushes Marcos with a huge legdrop. Tag between Zack Sommers and Sly Slater. My Opinion: *1\2 rating is all it gets from me. XPW cameras take us backstage to Alicia and Swinger, who have pointed out Steve Bradley as persona non grata due to his botched interference last night at the PPV. Alicia promises us that Bradley is going down. Little does she know that he is at this point, but that's a whole other situation in front of a whole different camera. Our only proof are the wolf-like howls coming from Lizzy's office. OVERALL:71%. MATCH UP OF WOMEN'S SHOES (aka A PAIR O' HEELS): Steve Bradley vs Swinger. Match Background: None. The Match: Steve Bradley with a spinning neckbreaker on Swinger. Full nelson slam on Swinger. Hooks the leg for a two count. Bradley goes for a splash but Swinger puts the knees up. STIFF high kick on Bradley by Swinger. Swinger hits a rolling kick on Bradley. Konnan has ruined any chance for me ever enjoying this maneuver again with his shitty execution of it. My Opinion: Sadly, a 1\2* match. Bradley winds up on his back again, and this time there is no fuck hungry porno skank bouncing on his love nub to make it worthwhile. Swinger has class, and after the match he takes Alicia to the nearest Subway and lets her order anything off the menu...as long as she pays for his meal, too. Banky's not Stennick. I've been familiar with Stennick for about 2-3 years now, as he used to fantasy book on Other Arena's fantasy booking section, where I used to be a regular contributor. It's not a gimmick of his, or anyone's.

Give it a shot. 4.0 characters seem to get fickle. I had Jinsei Shinzaki ask me to break up his team with Barry Horowitz (read the XPW Diary ::cheap plug:: to see how THAT one came up) after teaming together TWICE in the fed. TWICE. A change of pace might be all Jericho needs.

I was a huge fan of these back when I was a kid, and still have many of the cards, as well as the movie on tape. So we're talking about these things at work, and one of the guys mentions that they're redoing the cards again. One trip to Google and I find a link directly to Topps' site that they're bringing back the GPK's. Redoing older ones, and busting out some members of the "lost" 16th series. I know they had keychains and T-shirts a year or two ago, as I've got the keychains (and the Adam Bomb GPK shirt), but didn't know they were planning a full fledged comeback. Hopefully this means a DVD release for the movie, too.

LOL, nah I've upgraded to a sleeker model. As for the resemblance, if it were the 8th-9th grade version of me sitting here, what you picture would not be far off. That's how I got the nickname in the first place. These days...not much of a resemblance. Growing up sucks.

Yeah, it wasn't Freddy all the time. Very similar to the Friday The 13th series around the same time. Sci-Fi does/did show the F13 series, and at one point did show the Freddy's Nightmares run. Might see them pop up soon with the newfound fan interest, so I'd wait it out a bit.
