OK folks, as promised, here's the "company meeting" more or less. I may or may not come off as ranting here, because there was no set format for this, but with what's gone on with the latest Syndicated show, I felt the need to write this up ASAP. Reliability and communication are the two things this company prides itself on, and makes it different from our peers such as the SWF. We're very communication heavy in that we look to our other writers for assistance, for the structure of a storyline, and for helping our workloads when things in real life get hectic. Adam made mention that people say an e-fed should not affect your real life (and it shouldn't), but not to the extent where things are ruined, people's efforts are rendered null and void, and things don't get written/come off as they were intended. Now this isn't going to become a finger pointing session to stir up anymore of that godforsaken OMG OAOAST DRAWMUH~!, but let's call a spade a spade. Hoff was probably the last person in that match that I'd have asked for assistance with. I have no personal beef with Hoff, but OAOAST-wise, he comes and goes, and is pretty unreliable. CC, Tony, Adam, Eskimo, and NYU could have easily (I'd think) handled writing duties. If a workload seems too heavy, don't wait for the last second to ask for help. Plan accordingly so that situations like this don't happen. Things like that could prove to deter people from signing up with us, right when it seemed we were on a roll with the acquisitions in the past six months of Bruce Blank, Rando, and Longdogger Pete, amongst our other writers. This leads into my next point in that we should be working towards the goal of not only producing damn good e-shows, but getting more people interested to add to the family. While many of these secondary characters of ours have taken with the reading public, it's a)not much fun for writers when they have to build the script of a show around many of their characters, and b)an incredible task to handle. Putting them on HI-YAH trips or injuring them can only work for so long unless you find a niche that works for you, or you drop the characters (and I'm as guilty of this as anyone). Another thing is regarding the shows themselves. The point has been made that some weeks we have stacked shows, and other weeks we have minimum input/promo heavy shows. I know that back in the day we did it sort of "SWF Style" in that I'd request a match or two be written for the show, so that we had at least one "marquee" type of match to put on. I'm more than willing to go back to that format to make sure people are getting things in for their characters, and the shows are more consistent. Lateness of shows has been a problem in the past as well, and again, this is where a backup plan should be put in order. PK does well with our HeldDOWN~! shows, but in the case of power outages, freak acts of nature, or the man having a life outside of TSM, we should have a "backup producer" to make sure the show gets up on time. The same with PPV's. More often than not, it's also the fault of posters, whether it be time difference, slip of the mind, or what have you. I think that from now on, invoking a Saturday deadline for PPV matches rather than a "day of" one could help us stop our PPV's from being up late, and for whomever is posting that month to have all Sunday to get the show ready for posting. Likewise with HD~!, I won't say a Wednesday deadline, but let's say if your stuff isn't in by 6-7pm EST (figuring an average time of 9pm for posting) then sorry, but you've gotta wait a week. Not to penalize anyone, as I realize things happen, but so that the show can go up, and people don't have to go back the next day to reread segments. Another segueway takes us to feedback of shows, which we are ALL guilty of at one point or another. I feel that this issue can be resolved if the previously mentioned issues are, as missing segments/late shows usually lead to a delay in reading/not reading the whole show, which prevents feedback from our readers. It's a chain reaction type of situation, and if we can rectify one portion of it, we should easily be able to rectify the next. In the cases of Hoff, or Adam...if you feel like real life is moving too fast/you don't have time for us, it's much easier to just tell us than to let the whole fed suffer with a late show or prompt dropping of a storyline. Again, at a time where we've just gotten some new faces who are doing well for themselves, and we're looking to add more, we should all be on the same page. If you feel you can't contribute as much, say so. If you feel you can't contribute at all, say so. More openness leads to less drama. There's been more useless arguing coming out of people keeping their mouths shut around here than there ever has when someone was open and honest. We're all big boys and girls, so don't be afraid to speak up. We've been at this for FOUR YEARS now. Four years I've seen come and go like nothing. We've had our highs, we've had our lows. We've had stacked rosters, and HeldDOWN's with four segments. We've got new blood that's working well with the old blood. We've got storylines that are hooking people when they read us. We need to channel the positivity into growing, and cut out the negativity like a weed before it grows any more. As much as I like everyone (well OK, 95% of everyone) who has involved themselves with us at one point or another, if you can't put forth a reliable effort, then maybe our time shouldn't be wasted. I'm not saying that in an asshole sense and don't want it to be taken as so...I'm simply looking out for the company and everyone's best interest...leaving a trail of broken promises and segments to be edited in later is bad for business. So have at it. I expect (hope) everyone will take note of this, and we can take action as to how to get everything in gear. Things won't and don't fix themselves.

Bastard. We're getting Saosin, but no Just Surrender. I found out they played with Halifax back in June, and I missed out on the show.

It's the top of the hour, and as soon as our scheduled program begins, we are given a wide shot of the arena, with one man standing in the center of the wrestling ring. Lining the aisleway and the ringside area are numerous OAOAST superstars and employees. D*LUX. Otaku. James Blonde. Faqu. Los Diablos Del Fuego. Longdogger Pete. The entire Lightning Crew. The Hooligans. Black T. Leon Rodez. Michael Cole and Coach, sans their headsets, stand tall over at Sofa Central. Faces and heels, friends and foes alike, are all in attendance for what promises to be the most emotional segment in HeldDOWN~! history. Standing in the ring, clutching a microphone and staring at the fans chanting his name, causing him to grow misty-eyed, is Zack Malibu. "MAL-AH-BU!" "MAL-AH-BU!" "MAL-AH-BU!" All of those in attendance are on their feet as well, cheering loudly for the company hero, who tonight, has come to say goodbye. Numerous "Please Don't Go!", "Don't Fire Zack!", "We Love Zack", and other signs of that nature are visible and held high, as the chants eventually settle down to allow Malibu the time to address everybody. ZACK Thank you. Thank you everybody. I appreciate the reception tonight, I really do. I'd be lying if I told you it wasn't going to make what I have to say tonight harder on me. Zack pauses, and takes a deep breath, as if he needs to get up the courage to speak. ZACK I'd first like to start out by apologizing for my actions last week. I realize that a line was crossed, and I need to take responsibility for my actions. I acted selfishly and irrationally, concerned only with my personal vendetta, and not of the safety of my fellow wrestlers, arena staff, fans, or anybody else in attendance. So to those of you who I have offended in any way, I offer a heartfelt apology to you. I'm very sorry. The crowd and wrestlers respectfully clap, which spurns a loud "Don't Be Sorry!" chant, as everybody knows exactly why Zack did what he did one week ago, and seem to understand why completely. ZACK Now, um...what...what I have to say to you now is not going to be easy, so please bear with me. I...I, uh... Malibu now begins to choke up, unable to speak. The cameras close in as tears well in his eyes, and he wipes them away before continuing. ZACK I, um...I came out here tonight to say goodbye to all of you. Malibu bites his lip and lowers his head, and whatever words he wants to get out next are blocked by the chants of the fans. "PLEASE DON'T GO!" "PLEASE DON'T GO!" "PLEASE DON'T GO!" Malibu looks out to the crowd, now openly crying in the center of the ring. The cameras pan the faces of the OAOAST superstars at ringside, many of them also getting caught up in this emotional moment. ZACK I...I didn't want it to end this way. I just...I had to protect my family, you know? A baby girl...my baby daughter...and she...she's young enough that she'll forget what happened to her. She's the lucky one, because now every night of my life I have to go to sleep knowing that I won't get the chance to make it up to her. To make it up to Candie, and to everyone who stood by me throughout my whole career...I'm so sorry I won't get to make it up to you. Malibu now breaks down, his crying echoed via the microphone. Fans are crying as well, as Malibu goes over to the corner and puts his head down, trying to regain his composure. He stands up and walks across the ring again, once again trying to speak without his voice cracking under the emotion. ZACK I have had an amazing career in this company. I have been to the top of the mountain, and I have been fortunate enough to have taken part in matches that will be remembered generations from now. I am fortunate enough to have established a bond with this company that I hope will remain strong on a personal level as my professional bond with it ends. I...I'm sorry, once again, for the damage my actions may have caused. I will never forget what this company did for me, and the impact it had on my life. I will never forget the reactions, the support, or the well wishes from you fans out there. I will never forget my peers...my fellow workers, who I'm hoping will continue to establish the OAOAST as a wrestling superpower. Each one of you has something to offer to this company, or else you wouldn't be here. All of you are integral parts of this machine, and don't ever forget it. Don't ever let your efforts slip, because I put 110% of myself into this company, and I hope you all will too. The wrestlers and the crowd applaud, as Malibu stands at center ring again. ZACK With all that said...I don't want to take up much more of your time tonight. I never...I never thought it'd come down to this, and... Knowing he needs to say goodbye, it becomes that much harder for Malibu, as he cries and falls to a knee, holding his head in his hands. Malibu continues to cry until Leon Rodez hops up on the apron and enters the ring, followed by the three Hooligans, and then both members of Black T. Rodez puts a hand on Zack's shoulder to get his attention, and when Zack stands up, the former World Tag Team Champions embrace to a standing ovation. Rodez breaks away, and Malibu turns to The Hooligans, who have never been his greatest allies, but who have respected him. Malibu embraces each of them, and soon enough the ring starts to fill with OAOAST talent, as each one wants to pay their respects to the man who made it all possible for them. Malibu makes time for everyone individually, as many of the superstars are getting emotional at what is taking place. Finally, Zack Malibu picks up the microphone one last time. ZACK Everybody, thank you for everything. Thank you for the respect, for the support, and for following my dream and helping make it happen. Thank you. Not one fan is left sitting down, as the arena gives Malibu a standing ovation as he continues to exchange parting words with the OAOAST superstars. A loud "Zack" chant comes over the crowd as they stand, clap, and cheer for the man who without a doubt did more for the OAOAST than any other member of the company did. As Malibu finishes his goodbyes, the sea of wrestlers parts, and Tony Brannigan and Leon Rodez hold the ropes open for Malibu to step out onto the apron. Zack does, and looks around through his teary eyes, as the wrestlers work the fans into one final ovation for Malibu. Crying, Zack hops off the apron and starts up the aisleway... ...and then we hear the sound of "Medal" (Kurt Angle's Theme)?!!??! IT'S ANGLESAULT~?!?!??! ANGLESAULT IS HERE ON HELDDOWN~! Dressed in a dapper suit, George Steinbrenner's favorite wrestler comes storming down the aisle, pointing at Zack and waving for him to "get back in that ring!" as he puts it. The fans are cheering loudly, but no one else seems to know what to make of this, as they are all appropriately shocked. Anglesault comes down the aisle and stands face to face with Zack Malibu, and the two engage in a huge hug which leads to another huge cheer, before Anglesault turns Zack around and leads him into the ring. Anglesault brushes wrestlers out of the way and calls for the microphone, while the rest of the arena is absolutley shocked at his appearance. ANGLESAULT I know this comes as a bit of surprise to you all, and I'm not here to take advantage of anyone's airtime here, nor did I come to say goodbye...because Zack Malibu is NOT GOING ANYWHERE! The fans ROAR, but Malibu is now even more shocked. ANGLESAULT I don't care who is in the "authority figure" position, because around here that seems to change on a weekly basis. I don't care what the legal department says, or what deals were struck. What you have here is a man who was purposely pushed to the limit by certain parties, and wanted nothing more than to make things right for his family. You hear that...HIS FAMILY. They went after a young lady, and a newborn baby girl, and if it were any other one of you, you'd have done the SAME THING Zack did last week, am I right? If it were your families, wouldn't you have felt the way Zack did? Anglesault's question is met with applause, and many of the wrestlers nod their heads as well. ANGLESAULT So let me make it perfectly clear...this company bears my name. You might not see me in action anymore, or even involved in the corporate structure, but when it comes down to it, it's still MY name on the marquee, and it's MY name that sells...but it's THIS MAN, Zack Malibu, who has held this company in place. It's Zack Malibu who has done more for this company than even I...it's got my name, but it has his heart, his soul, his sweat, his tears...this is ZACK MALIBU'S company as much as it is mine, and I will be damned if I was going to sit home tonight and watch this man say goodbye to us. Let me make it perfectly clear, because I've already had talks in the back with the legal department, and my lawyers, who are the best money can buy. I told them in no uncertain terms that if Zack Malibu left the OAOAST tonight, that I would pull my namesake, my likeness, the rights to my name...all of that would disappear, and you'd be left with what? The OAOT? Not exactly marketable, is it? I told them that I would distance myself from this company as far as I possibly could, because I would not lend my name to a company that disassociated itself with the man who did more for it than any other person walking this Earth. So just to make it perfectly clear...Zack Malibu is NOT retiring tonight, Zack Malibu is NOT leaving the OAOAST tonight...I mean, not unless he wants to...and I think we know the answer to that question! The fans go wild as Zack, still reeling from the shock of his onetime rival turned longtime friend saving his career, makes it clear he's staying put. ANGLESAULT Now you guys have a show to run, and I've got a plane to catch, so let's get this HeldDOWN~! going, right!? The fans roar, as Anglesault nods his head. ANGLESAULT Oh wait...before I forget, before I go, there is one other thing. Zack, I know there's something you want more than anything. It's not just a chance to stay here, but a chance to make things right. For your family, for your fans...for everyone. So let me ask you this...you want Bruce Blank, Zack? Zack nods his head, and The Hooligans surround Zack, shouting words of encouragement. ANGLESAULT I thought you might, so that's why I did one last thing for you before I go. At ANGLESLAM...in his first match back in months, this man, right here Zack Malibu WILL be in action...AGAINST BRUCE BLANK, NO RULES NECESSARY! A HUGE roar comes up from the crowd now, as Malibu and Anglesault hug once again, this time piled on by the united superstars of the OAOAST, who all support Malibu's quest for redemption due to what The Wildcards put his family through. Anglesault exits the ring with the mic in hand, and stops at ringside to say one final thing. ANGLESAULT Ladies and gentlemen, there's no need to say goodbye...so say WELCOME BACK to ZACK MALIBU! "WELCOME BACK!" "WELCOME BACK!" "WELCOME BACK!" Malibu is quickly scooped up onto the shoulders of James Blonde and Faqu, as the OAOAST rallies around him. The fans cheers are deafening as they don't have to say goodbye to their hero...and backstage tonight, there are at least a few people not happy with this shocking turn of events.

Gaspard and Hoodie look to be getting the call-up soon though, so I doubt Gaspard is who they're looking at as champion. Jacob Duncan is the character played by Ryan Wilson, aka Titus/Tryton, right? The character intrigues me a bit, but he's got a ways to go until he's not green anymore.

Banderas was bound for TNA years back in the role Vampiro got as Raven's foe, but everyone felt it'd be a let down once the mask came off Raven's attacker. He's been someone TNA has been aiming at getting for a good three years now.

After last week's shocking conclusion to HeldDOWN~!, closed door meeting have been held all week long at various points with company officials, all three of The Wildcards, members of the Los Angeles Police Department, and Zack Malibu. While all options have been considered, the OAOAST as well as the three members of The Wildcards and the LAPD officers involved have unanimously agreed charges will not be filed against Zack Malibu for his actions. However, there is a catch. Due to the perceived "black eye" on the company, as well as the only way The Wildcards would agree to not press charges, Zack Malibu's appearance this Thursday night will be his last, as he must exit the OAOAST on a forced retirement. Malibu has not been contacted for comment, but one can imagine how the man who has led the company through thick and thin is feeling. This Thursday night, at the top of the program, Zack Malibu will have the clearance to set foot in an OAOAST ring for the last time, to say goodbye to his friends, his fans, and his wrestling family. We encourage any and all of you who have been OAOAST fans past or present, to join us as we say goodbye to the most popular athlete in company history.

Hello all. I apologize for not getting the planned "State of the OAOAST" summary up sooner, but I've been working like a madman and have had a busy social schedule as well, so all my writing concentration has had to go to the continuance of my storyline angles. I haven't forgotten it though, and while there are no serious (as in, need to be rectified this minute) matters to discuss, it's still something I plan on posting for discussion. That said, one of the main things in the address was going to be the PPV situation. It had been thrown about for some time to condense the PPV schedule, and now with the inclusion of Syndicated as a special and the Battlebowl tradition, it's as good a time as any. Starting this month with the removal of License To Pin, we'll be working a new schedule for PPV's, which will hopefully prevent angle burnout, allow more time for development and writing of major stories and matches. The PPV schedule will be: JANUARY: Anglepalooza MARCH/APRIL: Anglemania MAY: School's Out JUNE: Great Angle Bash AUGUST: Angleslam SEPTEMBER: Zero Hour NOVEMBER: November Reign As you'll see, LTP, Dirty Deeds, World Without End, and Climax were all omitted. July will be the official month for Alfdogg's Battlebowl concept, as we'd done in years past. December we will put together a "supershow" combining the year end awards and several major matches as a Climax/New Year's Spectacular live TV special. Zero Hour has been moved from February to September because, let's face it, it sounds much cooler than "Dirty Deeds". We'll also have some of our Syndicated broadcasts spread throughout the year as has been happening, and there is a decent gap between some of the major PPV's to allow for time for things to develop without rushing to get things done just to not miss a show. This should help the entire roster greatly. If you have problems, questions, concerns, and/or just a general opinion on the schedule, this is the place to discuss it. This has been discussed in the mod folder and the end result was because of a general consensus amongst us and what we feel would benefit the roster.
-
We can try and work something out, sure. We had a loose timetable for everything and definitely don't want to rush, but also don't want to spread ourselves too thin. KC has some involvment in future plans for this, so he'll have some input too. I'll check in with Blank and Rando over the next few days about it.
-
The Wildcards angle doesn't end at Angleslam. Dirty Deeds, as long as the schedule is correct, will be the War Games match of The Wildcards Plus One vs. Zack's Team. There's going to be a lot more going on and more involvment in the Wildcards angle post-Angleslam, so it's going to extend a bit farther, likely to the end of the year.

Zack and The Wildcards segments for tonight.
Zack Malibu replied to Zack Malibu's topic in Brandon Truitt
Back from our final break, and when we return The Wildcards are now in the arena, and more importantly, in the ring. Security continues to surround them, as police officers and bodyguards surround both the outside area of the ring, as well as the three Wildcards inside it. The fans are relentless in their booing and throwing of trash, as the ring looks like a filty city street, stained with soda, beer, and whatever else has been hurled at Bruce, Todd, and Bloodshed. COLE Welcome back, fans. As you can see, The Wildcards have entered the arena finally, apparently to "explain their actions" from last week. The OAOAST felt it best to have them enter during a commercial break, as they were able to do so without incident...however there is a man backstage who is not looking for an explanation tonight...he's looking for blood. Seeing that it's time, Blank leans over the ropes and waves for Michael Buffer to hand him the microphone. Having never been a fan of The Wildcards in the first place, Buffer sits still, defiant of Blank's request. Blank shouts at the famed announcer, calling for the mic again, but Buffer sits still, not giving in to the most hated man in the OAOAST. Now Cortez comes over and starts shouting as well, but Buffer stands up and flips them both off, sitting back down as the crowd roars! COACH You tell 'em, Buffer! Angry, Cortez shoots out of the ring and shoves Buffer down, out of his seat, and grabs the microphone off the timekeepers table, delivering it to his partner. The crowd boos the actions of the "Urban Legend", and continue booing as Blank starts to talk. BLANK Now befo...zzzzzzzzzzkpft. Blank pauses, then taps the microphone. He begins speaking again, but this time, the mic isn't picking up his voice. COLE Seems like they're having problems in the truck, and...wait...I'm getting word...Coach, I'm getting word from the truck that production has cut the power in the mic! COACH Ha ha! COLE Bruce Blank, he targeted Zack's family, and now he's paying the price from Zack's other family...the OAOAST! Blank throws the mic down in disgust, and starts shouting at the crowd...who quickly come alive when the sight of Zack Malibu storming, and then running down the aisleway is seen! COLE ZACK MALIBU IS OUT HERE! COACH Ooooooooooooooooooh man. Malibu charges towards The Wildcards again, and Blank has the gall to put his two hands up and beg off, as security forms a wall again, preventing Zack from getting to The Wildcards. Malibu's face is red, as he is fuming, having to stare at the man who was ballsy enough to enter his home and corner his girlfriend and daughter act like a coward. Without hesistation, Malibu starts pushing cops and bodyguards aside, scattering them around as he tries to get to Bruce Blank! COLE He's fighting everyone! He wants Bruce Blank and The Wildcards! Malibu struggles, but again his tackled by the waist and this time taken to the canvas by security, who pin him to the mat! The Wildcards stand back and let security do their work, as one of the LAPD officers says to hold Zack down, as they plan on handcuffing him. Zack seems to calm down and oblige as he's rolled onto his back, but as they go for his arms, he jolts upward, grabbing the cop by the waist and then shoving him to the canvas, as he's got something in his hand. ZACK MALIBU HAS JUST STOLEN THE OFFICERS GUN. COLE Coach... COACH Oh my God. Malibu spins around and waves the gun, pointing it squarely at The Wildcards. His lip quivering, his body trembling, Malibu extends his arm out, pointing the gun in the direction of one man, and one man only. Bruce Blank. The entire arena is silent, as you could hear a pin drop amdist the chaos everyone is seeing right now. Emotion overtakes Zack, as tears fall from his eyes despite the grim determination in his eyes...the intent on gaining revenge for his family. Blank, for the first time we've ever seen, is white as a ghost as he's looking down the barrel of a gun. Malibu coldly stares at Blank, his demeanor doing all the talking while he keep him at bay. Police and security continue trying to talk Malibu down, not wanting anything irrational, or even fatal, to happen. Malibu slowly steps back, still clutching the gun in his hand, although his arm begins to shake. One of the LAPD comes over to him and slowly lowers his arm, then takes the gun from him, as he's spun around and handcuffed. A sigh of relief is breathed by everyone in attendance, as what could have happened didn't. Malibu is lowered to the canvas and then rolled out under the bottom rope in handcuffs, and led up the aisleway, out of the arena. The fans, the staff...everyone and anyone look on as Zack Malibu, the OAOAST poster boy, the former World Champion, and a father of a newborn babygirl, faces the ultimate in public humilation. While the men who accosted his family remain free and clear of any wrongdoing. FADE OUT. -
I would really appreciate if the first and last segments could bookend the show. You can just put the segment where Zack arrives somewhere in the early/middle portion of the show. Anaheim, Californa. Home of the Mighty Ducks, and the latest stop on the OAOAST tour. It’s Thursday night – Do you know where your barbwire wrapped baseball bats are? No? Then stick around and they may just show up on TV. Now over to Sofa Central where Michael Cole and Coach are ready to greet the viewers at home. COLE Welcome to HeldDOWN~! Liiiiiiiiiiive from Anaheim where the OAOAST brings you the hard hitting action as always! COACH Damn right we do! And tonight even more so as we’ll have highlights from Syndicated in addition to some great matches in that very ring. COLE Leon Rodez is set to issue another 24/7 challenge, we’ve got the big man in act- COACH Yeah, yeah, yeah that’s all nice Cole, but the fans want to know about Zack, they want to see the shit hit the fan! COLE Can we say *beep* on TV?? COACH I can cause I’m the heel!! COLE What’s that? COACH I said “I ca-“ COLE No not you...on the headset. Ladies and gentlemen, I’ve just been informed that something interesting is happening out by the front entrance. The shot changes from Sofa Central to the front of the arena, it’s a lovely light summers evening but no one seems to be paying attention to the view as a pair of police motorcycles pull up in front of the building followed by a stretch Hummer-limo, a police cruiser, a black van and then another set of police motorcycles. COLE It almost looks like the president is coming! COACH Or 50 Cent – YO FIDDY!! When the motorcade stops a security team steps out of the van and the front seat of the stretch Hummer looking very official and very serious about protecting whomever is inside. After having run all the way from the locker rooms Josh Matthews finally appears on the scene looking for some answers. MATTHEWS *catches his breath* Alright Josh Matthews here, and I’m going to find out what this is all about. He puts the microphone in the face of a huge wide shouldered black man. MATTHEWS Who’s in the limo? . . . MATTHEWS Come on you can tell me! Why the massive security precautions?? . . . MATTHEWS It’s Zack isn’t it? It’s got to be Zack, and he probably brought Candie and little baby Jenna with him to keep them safe. It’s Malibu isn’t it? . . . The big guy doesn’t respond. Instead he steps aside as the door opens and out emerges Bruce Blank, followed by Todd Cortez and Bloodshed, all of them looking around a bit nervously. COLE THE WILDCARDS?? WHAT THE HELL? MATTHEWS The Wildcards? What the hell are you guys doing with a security detail like this? Neither Cortez nor Bloodshed seem very interested in talking to Josh Matthews, so the task falls upon Bruce. BLANK Isn’t it obvious? I mean Zack Malibu will be here tonight and you know what a hot head he is. MATTHEWS HOT HEAD? BLANK Totally, and I just KNOW that he’ll take what happened last week the wrong way, that he’s going to blow it totally out of proportion and make it like we did something wrong. COLE They did do something wrong! They did something vile and disturbing and they went too far! COACH Hey I ain’t going to argue with you, and honestly whatever Zack does tonight they’ll have deserved it. BLANK Besides have you been in the locker rooms? It’s not secret we’re not liked, people resent it when they’re told they suck and are then shown that it’s true. After last week though. . . I wouldn’t put it past them to try something underhanded. CORTEZ ...and The Wildcards, well you know we don't condone that sort of behavior. MATTHEWS EXCUSE me? BLANK I’m sure a lot of them would love to take a cheap shot at us, so these guys are here to make sure that’s not happening – now excuse me Matthews, I’ve got more important things to do. Bruce heads off with Cortez and Bloodshed over to a small area where a couple of chairs, a table and a TV has been set up. The Wildcards sit down and start to watch the broadcast while the police and security team gather around them to keep them safe. COACH They’re not even coming into the building? They’re that paranoid? COLE It’s not paranoia if the entire federation IS out to get you, but they’ll have to venture into the ring sooner or later tonight – we’ve not heard the last from them! COACH And what will happen when Zack Malibu shows up!? COLE Then the *beep* will REALLY hit the fan!

Zack and The Wildcards segments for tonight.
Zack Malibu replied to Zack Malibu's topic in Brandon Truitt
Back once again to an exterior shot of The Pond, but things aren't going too swimmingly tonight (get it!?). The Wildcards are still positioned at their makeshift station outside, although that hasn't seemed to have worked as well as they've thought. The Hooligans have already made their feelings clear earlier tonight, and one can only imagine the reaction of everybody inside the building when The Wildcards finally enter it. Security is tight around the three men, and after The Hooligans incident earlier, the security force doesn't seem to be in any mood to mess around. "BLANK! BLANK YOU SON OF A BITCH!" That's probably the best news for The Wildcards, because the screaming is heard loud and clear as from out of nowhere...ZACK MALIBU HAS ARRIVED~! He IMMEDIATELY charges the Wildcards area, and Blank, Cortez and Bloodshed all get to their feet and back up, letting security flow in front of them. Malibu is grabbed around the waist by one of the suited security men, and the former World Champion starts hammering the individual on the back, trying to break his grip! "LET ME GO! HE WENT AFTER MY DAUGHTER! MY FAMILY! YOU LET ME GO!" Malibu is swinging wildly, catching one cop across the face with a back fist as he tries to snare Malibu's arm in restraint. The security force struggles, but eventually four of them are able to push Malibu back, dragging him up the stairs to The Pond. "GET OFF OF ME! GET OFF ME NOW!" Malibu screams and pleads, and as the security is trying to push him into the front door of The Pond, OAOAST roster members flock to the front door, screaming for security to let Malibu go, showing support for Zack! The Hooligans charge right out the front door and start shoving and swinging, getting in the face of anyone who comes near them...and the same cop that took issue with Jamie O'Hara earlier whips out a can of mace, spraying Jamie in the eyes to back him up! "AAAAGH! MOTHERF...DAMMIT!" Johnny Jax, now angrier than ever, charges the cop, but Static decides that they need to get O'Hara in. Meanwhile Malibu is fighting to get through the human shields, but eventually is driven inside. Once blocked in, security stands at the front doors to the arena, putting their weight on the one Malibu tries to exit through, doing their best to earn their paycheck for the night. COLE Fans...what a scene we've got outside. Zack Malibu is HERE, we've got wrestlers brawling with police...this is NOT a good scene tonight! COACH I told you Cole, the shit was gonna hit the fan! COLE Zack Malibu, you can hear the desperation in his voice...his family was put in danger due to his rivalry with Blank, and Blank exploited it! He exploited the man's family on national television, just...just to prove a sick point! COACH Mikey Cole, there hasn't been a feud on a personal level like this in a long time...maybe ever. Last week was one of the most sickening things The Wildcards have done since their arrival, and it didn't involve barbed wire, or glass, or chains. It was...it was the worst thing they'd ever done, and tonight...I hope to God tonight, straight up, that they pay for it. -
Zack and The Wildcards segments for tonight.
Zack Malibu replied to Zack Malibu's topic in Brandon Truitt
Back from break, we're taken outside the arena to the sunny California sky, as The Wildcards are sitting back at their makeshift area, surrounded by their own personal security force. Blank, Cortez and Bloodshed have voluntarily been enjoying the action from outside due to their reservations about entering the arena after the horrific turn their war with Zack Malibu took last week. For now though, they seem content avoiding trouble for once. Until trouble finds them. "Yo, Wildcards!" Bursting through the front doors of the pond, The Hooligans storm over to the makeshift viewing area, quickly finding themselves blocked off by a wall of burly bodyguards, and LAPD. "5-0 better back their bitch asses up, before I start gettin' ig'nant!" spouts Jamie O'Hara at one of the cops, who peers at the small British bad boy over the rim of his sunglasses. "Easy J..." snaps Static. "...this is the LAPD, baby! I mean, they're the most powerful police force in the whole country! I mean, they beat on Rodney King, they let OJ kill his wife and then go hit nine holes, and now they're protectin' three punk bitches who broke in to a house and accosted a woman and her newborn daughter. You can't argue with a resume like that!" The cops do not look impressed, as they inch towards The Hooligans, while the security detail remains behind them. True to their defiant nature, The Hooligans step forward, not worried in the slightest about getting up in the grills of LA's finest. Before The Hooligans can react any further and cause an incident the likes of which the wrestling world could stand to do without, an agitated Bruce Blank pushes security aside and storms over, with Cortez and Bloodshed right behind. "You got balls, boys. Just couldn't leave well enough alone, coul..." SLAP~! O'Hara, ever the instigator, springs up and cracks Blank with a slap before he can get a word out. Blank sneers and rubs his cheek as he stares at O'Hara, who shoves one of the cops right back when he goes to detain him. The cop, having had it with Jamie's attitude, lunges forward, but it's Blank of all people who stops him. "Let me tell YOU somethin', Blank. This war didn't end when we got the World Six Man Tag Team Titles. Yeah, we've got more stuff on our plate, and we ain't lookin' to be choir boys either...but what you did last week went TOO far. You're lookin' at three guys who made Malibu's life hell without ever crossin' that line. A girl? A BABY GIRL? You three sick sons of bitches made this real personal now, and Malibu's gonna have at ya...but we figured we'd make a courtesy call and give you a little verbal bitchslap of our own. We're not gonna cause a ruckus out here." "Because you know you'd be on the losin' end." mutters Blank. Jax steps forward, getting nose to nose with Blank, until Static starts in again. "Nah, you see Blank, what you did...only one man can make you pay for that. We take you out now...and BELIEVE ME, tossin' a few of these 5-0 types on that fire would be a joy to us...but that won't cure the hate in Zack Malibu's heart. The hate he has for YOU, and for what you did. You crossed his personal boundaries, and now you gotta pay. Us? We'll kick yo' ass for fun any day of the week. This war you got into now...it goes a LOT deeper than that. What you've started...bro, I don't even think you three scumbags are ready for it." The Hooligans inch back, still staring at The Wildcards, while O'Hara fires a loogie down on the boot of one of the cops, who simply looks at it, then back at the smiling gangsta. The cameras close in on The Wildcards, and eventually Blank's face, as it looks like they've struck a chord. It looks like the big man is worried, and with good reason. -
You'd better f'n believe something is going down between Zack and The Wildcards. Also, more HOOLIGANDA~!

"To the Moon and Back" was an awesome song. If there's any justice in this world, Zack Malibu will appear in this thread within the next 24 hours to agree with me. It's a little late, but I agree 100%.

He was cut from OVW and since Cornette and Al Snow are involved with ROH, they probably put in a good wood for Cage. Just bad timing to debut the same night during a rare Christian Cage appearence. I know he was cut and everything, just thought it was an odd place for him to pop up. He's definitely a solid worker, so best of luck to him.

Chris Cage from OVW is gonna be working here now?

COLE We are back on HeldDOWN~!, and folks, you're about to meet a very special young lady for the very first time. Live from the Malibu residence in Tampa, FL, we'd like to introduce you to little Jenna Malibu. *A split screen comes up, showing Cole and Coach live in the arena, and a closeup of the sleeping baby in her mother's arms. The camera pulls back, and the crowd pops at the sight of Candie, the first time we've seen her since she became pregnant.* COLE Candie, it's great to see you once again, and congratulations to you and Zack on becoming parents for the first time! CANDIE Thank you, Michael. And thank you to all the fans who sent cards for us, and for the baby. It really means a lot to Zack and I, and that's why we wanted to share Jenna with the world. COLE We understand Zack flew back as soon as he got word that you were going into labor, and made it back to the States just as the baby was delivered? CANDIE Yeah she...she held on, hahaha. She put up a fight, just like her father she wouldn't give up, but now she's here and she's...she's beautiful. COLE Well it's great to see you home healthy and happy, and... *KEEE-RASH~!* CANDIE What the... COLE Candie, is everything okay? CANDIE I'm not sure what's going on, Michael. Something must have fallen, or...or... As Candie, baby Jenna in her arms, stands up from her seat, she's frozen in shock. The camera pans over, and standing their, snickering, is BRUCE BLANK, inside Zack Malibu's home. BLANK Howdy, ma'am. The screen becomes shaky, because now the cameraman is being accosted by whom one can only guess is Bloodshed and Todd Cortez, Blank's Wildcard cohorts. Candie is beginning to cry, as her boyfriend's arch rivals have just invaded their home, and cornered her and her baby! CANDIE Get...GET OUT OF HERE NOW! HELP ME! HELP Mmmfffff! Blank reaches out and puts a hand over Candie's mouth, muffling her cry for help. He then leans in close, as Cortez works the camera, and Bloodshed stands back, peering over at Candie. BLANK Listen to me, girlie. Now, we didn't come here for nothin'...too evil, we'll say, and leave it at that. We're just here to spread the word...get the message out. Your man, last week, called me out. That courage o' his is outta control! He called me out, and he said that he had nothin' to lose...now see, I might be a bit of a country boy, but it don't mean I ain't got nothin' up top. I knew he was bluffin', because lookin' in front of me right now, I see somethin' mighy precious to him...somethin' I'm sure he wouldn't wanna lose. Candie, crying and sobbing, has Bruce's hand pulled off her mouth. He then looks down at little Jenna, making sure her pink blanket is covering her as she sleeps in her mother's arms, oblivious to all this. BLANK You sure are a sweet lil' thing...I bet your daddy can't wait to see you grow up...and he will, if he's not stupid. When daddy gets home, you tell him Uncle Brucey was here, and he just stopped in to say hi. I'll leave ya'll be, it looks like you've had a rough night. Get some sleep. Tell ol' Zack I'll see him when he gets back from Japan. Candie slowly sits back into her chair, cradling the baby safely, as Blank steps back, and motions for Bloodshed to exit. Cortez props the camera down before he exits, and while it obscures the view of Candie and baby Jenna, Candie's cries are heard loud and clear, before the scene fades to black.

I need this blurb to open the show, or even before the theme: COLE Fans, our night hasn't even officially begun yet, and already we have huge news for you. This past weekend, on Sunday to be exact, we gained a new addition to the OAOAST family. COACH WE SIGNED LESNAR! I KNEW IT! EAT A DICK, VINNY MAC! COLE ...eat a...will you stop! I'm talking about the baby! COACH Oh...OH! COLE That's right folks, on Sunday, Zack Malibu's girlfriend Candie gave birth to their first child, a baby girl they've named Jenna Nicole Malibu. COACH That's a hot name. COLE ... COACH Sorry. COLE Silly remarks from Coachman aside, we wish Zack and Candie and their newborn daughter all the best in the world. We know that Zack has flown back to Japan to resume his commitment to HI-YAH, but as a special treat, later tonight, the world will get their first look at little Jenna, as we talk to Candie for the first time since she revealed to us she was pregnant! COACH That had to put some sunlight in Zack's days, especially these days with Bruce Blank breathing down his neck. COLE No doubt about it. When we heard from Zack last week, he told The Wildcards that he wasn't going to back out on his HI-YAH commitments, but if they felt inclined to go after him in Japan, he'd be waiting for them. From what I've gathered, The Wildcards haven't shown up for their house show booking earlier in the week, nor have we seen them here tonight. It's entirely possible they've taken a plane to the Land of the Rising Sun to take Zack up on his offer! COACH I hope not...the man's got a family now...he might need to tone down the bravado! COLE I don't know if THAT will ever happen...but nonetheless, we'll talk more about Zack later on when Candie joins us live via satellite to introduce their baby girl to the world!

Mole, I just bought that 23" Samsung you previously mentioned. Although right now it's only good for my 360, as I don't have digital cable in the room where the TV is in at this time. Over the next month or two, I'd like to get both an HD quality DVD recorder, as well as an upconvert player. Might as well go all the way, especially if I can catch a "no interest" special somewhere like I did with the TV, which gives me the time to pay it off (although there's no way I'd bother waiting the whole 18 months or whatever just to pay it off).

THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE HASN'T BEEN PAID FOR With that ominous opening, we then segue into handheld camera footage, as Scotty Static sticks his face in the lens of a camera and turns it sideways, as he spouts out verbage. "Hooligans, back again, taking over! I'm your host, Scotty Static..." A quick montage of Static's finishing moves, the Static Shock and Spiked Punch, air in rapidfire succession before cutting back to the home video shots, where the camera is now held upside down. "...along with Johnny Jax..." More rapidfire action, as it showcases the larger of the GPX hitting his patented Yakuza kick, and dropping one poor soul with the Beat Drop. "...and J-Dawg, Jamie O'Hara!" The third installment of replay footage comes up, showing O'Hara's daredevil aerial tactics as he flies in and out of the ring. "This is HOOLIGANDA, baby!" The screen blurts after Static shouts into the camera, and it almost looks as if someone is changing the channel. Finally, the scene rests on a black and white shot of the Hooligans walking down the middle of the street in a neighborhood that looks like it's in one of the rougher areas of town. "People ask us, ya know, insiders, the "smart marks"...asking about our "face turn". Face turn, ya know, that means it's when a BAD GUY..." More quick jumps to old footage, as it shows Jamie O'Hara blasting an innocent bystander in the face with a beer bottle, the GPX's heel turn from last year, and the three Hooligans jumping Zack Malibu after proclaiming their respect for him. "...into a GOOD GUY." All of a sudden the scene cuts, and it's back to handheld footage, as Jamie O'Hara proudly proclaims "I ain't a role model" to the camera. Quick jump back to the three Hooligans in the middle of the street, and Static, who is looking around, looks right to the camera, and loudly proclaims "WE DIDN'T PULL A FACE TURN!" Another quick jump to footage shows The Hooligans coming to block The Wildcards from entering the steel cage during the Zack Malibu vs. Faqu HI-YAH Title match, and the crowd popping huge when Static pinned Bruce Blank to capture the World Six Man Tag Team Titles. "It's not a face turn if you weren't heels to begin with!" snaps Jax, before piefacing the camera. The camera man nearly falls over, but he's spared by Static, who pulls him up and looks into the camera. "Faces, heels...we don't, and we never have, labeled ourselves like that. You know WHY those fans chose to hate us last year? You know why those same fans chose to love us more recently? It's not because of a change, a makeover, a promise. It's because we're REAL! We're as real as it gets, baby! We tell it like it is..." Another jump cut to Static getting in the faces of Black T, Zack Malibu, The Wildcards, Blonde and Faqu, amongst others. "...we back it up in the ring..." Shots of the GPX winning the World Tag Team Titles a few years back, a shot of them standing victorious over The Triple Threat and waving their World Six Man Tag Team Titles around, and a shot of Jamie O'Hara hitting a corkscrew crossbody on The Triple Threat. "...we are the most exciting athletes in the game today!" Like bullets from a machine gun, shots of Static Shock, Yakuza Kicks, O'Hara's rana to one of the Garners while on Jax's shoulders, and a final shot of them in the aisleway after a victory are showcased. "We are responsible for kicking off the most controversial era in OAOAST history!" Headshots of everyone involved in the Civil War flash on the screen, ending with a clip of the night the GPX jumped out of the crowd and jumped several of the Originals to kick it off for the Upstarts. "We..." Static is pushed out of the way by Jamie O'Hara, and when the camera focuses on him, it once again looks like channel surfing, before ending on an O'Hara highlight reel where a voice made to sound like a 50's newcaster dubs him "the most fearless aerial athlete I've ever seen!" "It ain't about the talkin', dawg! It ain't what we say, it's what we do. THAT'S how we stay real!" A shot of each Hooligan, in succession, looking up into the lens of the camera. "We're the World Six Man Tag Team Champions!" shouts O'Hara, lifting up his hooded sweatshirt to reveal one of the belts, which he unstraps and waves in front of the camera. "We'll take anyone on!" A black and white shot of The Hooligans walking through trash ridden streets, and a shot of Jax standing in the middle of the street with open arms, encouraging some of the gangbangers on the corner to come get some. "You wanna love us?" asks Static as he walks away from the camera, smirking. "You wanna hate us?" asks O'Hara as he steps to the camera. Cut to another black and white shot of O'Hara chugging down a forty, and then throwing the bottle against a brick wall, watching it shatter. "We're not babyfaces..." snaps Jax, before taking a swig from his forty. "...and we're not heels." replies Static, before the screen goes into rapidfire mode, showing previous footage from this montage in a rewind mode before ending on another slow motion shot of the three Hooligans walking in the middle of the street before they walk out of camera view, and it fades to black, leaving only two words visible on the screen. WE'RE REAL.

COLE We're back folks, and you know, Coach, the Beverly Hills Blondes aren't the only superstars of ours hanging out in the Land of the Rising Sun. COACH Mikey Cole, I know that look, and I think I know what you're gettin' at... COLE Fans, forget the hyperbole spewed by The Wildcards. Forget the word "fear", because it is not one that exists for this man. Forget...actually, forget talking about it, we're gonna go right to the footage sent to us personally by ZACK MALIBU! *The screen flickers, and then goes staticy, filling with snow, before a black and white, slowed down piece of footage starts airing. It's footage of Zack Malibu watching on as Bloodshed ravages Scotty Static, back at The Wildcards' debut at Living Angleously this past year.* "You broke your promise. You made your word mean nothing to me anymore." Another flickering of the screen brings up more static, until it's replaced with quick shots in succession of OAOAST Superstars, notably James Blonde, Faqu, and The Hooligans, questioning Malibu's actions in bringing Bruce Blank, Bloodshed and Todd Cortez into the OAOAST. "You destroyed my reputation, and ruined the bond I had with my own company." The screen flickers again, replacing that footage with footage of The Wildcards trapping Zack Malibu inside a steel cage, and laying waist to him. "You beat me. Bloodied me. Left me for dead." Another snowy transition into old footage, as this time the pummelling of Caboose at the hands of Bruce Blank is shown. "You attacked my mentor, and put him out of the business he loves." More static, and this time it's not old, black and white footage. This time it's live and in living color, as Zack Malibu is starting deep into the camera. "All those things...turning your back on me. Destroying my credibility, my reputation...tearing apart the company I helped build from the inside out...putting my best friend in the business out on a forced retirement, nearly maiming him in the process...and you think I'm AFRAID of you, Bruce Blank? Did you think I wouldn't come after you? Some say it was too soon. I say it wasn't soon enough. Some think I'm afraid because I haven't shown my face in a few weeks. Does that keep you on edge? Or does it make you feel victorious, thinking I've tucked tail and ran away? I'm not afraid of you, Bruce. Right now I'm in Japan, honoring my commitments to HI-YAH that were made long before you were a part of my life, because that's what I am. A man of honor...something that you've challenged by doing what you've done to me. Because I'm not here much longer...I'll be back stateside in just under two weeks, and when I am...I'm coming back for you, in any way I can. You think I'm hiding from you? You think I fear you? AFTER WHAT YOU DID, DO YOU THINK I WOULDN'T COME FOR YOU? It's YOUR turn, Bruce. It's YOUR turn to suffer. I might not be able to make you feel in that black heart of yours the pain I've felt in mine, but I can hurt you. Make you ache...make you bleed...make you SCREAM IN AGONY...because I brought this on myself, and it's my cross to bear. It's not about redemption, Bruce. Not retribution, either...no no, it's more than that. It's about loss. Losing something you hold dear to you. You've gone after my friends, my company...what do I have to lose? Nothing anymore. You, on the other hand? It's not about your career. It's not about the SWF. It's that when I get back, I'm going to make you hurt, worse than ever before. I'm going to make the King of Pain BEG FOR MERCY, and when I do...what'll you have left? The aura...the traits that make you what you are...the heartless monster that I opened my door to...it'll all be gone. No one will fear you anymore, Bruce Blank, because I'll humanize you. It's just like every horror movie ending, when the killing spree of the monster catches up to him, and he's got to own up to it. For The Hooligans, for Caboose, for Faqu and James Blonde...for everyone that has had their blood spilt, their heads split open, their bones cracked and broken for what I've done by bringing you into the OAOAST...most importantly, for myself...if for anything, just peace of mind...I'm not going to rest until you're finished. You can break my bones, make me bleed buckets, leave me for dead inside or outside any arena in the WORLD, Bruce...but I'm not going to stop. If I can't walk, I'll crawl to you. If I can't punch, I'll bite...I WILL DO WHATEVER I HAVE TO DO AS LONG AS THEIR IS A BREATH LEFT IN ME TO TAKE YOU OUT...and if you can't wait, Bruce...if you can't wait for me to come back to the US...you know where to find me." Malibu, face red with rage, fumes as the camera closes in, the shot getting tighter until it's just of his eyes, and when he tilts his head downward, the screen closes, fading to black.
