Why not do a deal where the Upstarts target you since you're "weak" (re: you tried to trust them and they turned on you, now your partners are at each others throats) and in typical Dan Black brashness, you challenge the GPX to a handicap match at Angleslam. Then just before AngleSlam, Popick can side up with you (the two hated "power players" in OAOAST history vs. the GPX) and Popick can turn on you then and cut his promo on how the money is in the Upstarts, not the Originals, etc.? So SJ/Black vs. GPX for Angleslam.

Must have been senior discount day.

I think it'll be Jimmy Cooper.

Cary Hart. Corey Hart is the "Sunglasses At Night" singer.

Good question on the tag thing. I'd still love to do the match on a week where a lot of us can write and make it epic, but now with Some Guy kinda doing his own thing (in storyline) and working a lot (in reality), throwing Zack/SG in there would seem sort of random. We COULD do Boiz vs. GPX vs. Crystal/Gunner vs. Black T or Black/CWM vs. Zack/Rodez or something like that. Actually, if we did that, it would help KC's quest to make Rodez "legit" to the Originals, and would anger the Upstarts that he holds a belt with their arch-enemy.
-
PK vs. Crystal?
-
Since you've already chosen sides, PK and another Original can take on the GPX if you'd like, unless Tony and Eski want to do some type of Black T vs. GPX match at Angleslam. EDIT: Or PK and Rodez vs. Wright/Bo, or PK/Rodez vs. GPX?

Dennis Haskins Coolio Tara Reid Andrew Dice Clay Jasmine Guy Lance Bass Molly Ringwald
-
So basically, heading into Angleslam, that would put Drek, GPX, Crystal, Gunner, Wright and Bo as Upstarts.
-
I'll still watch, I'm not that bothered, but I tend to not like my anticipation to be killed. Just like how in Season 1, everyone found out ahead of time what "the secret" was, but I kept away from it. If I want spoilers, I'll wait for Smackdown results.
-
Have Wright/Bo jump me and Dan Black next week, making it a five on one beatdown. I'm OK with that if Eski wants to go that route.
-
I'm going to take on Drek at Angleslam. Maybe during your promo, Eski, the three of them come out, and I come out to help out, but Drek bails out and leaves us against the GPX. Then Cal can make that a match (me/you vs. GPX) for either this or next week, depending on how much time you and I would have to write.

Does Raw have the worst talent in years?
Zack Malibu replied to AmazingRen's topic in The WWE Folder
If WWE fills it with Chavo/Kerwin restholds and Tajiri's usual spots, it won't be too above average, unfortunately. BTW, Zack, how are you recovering from last night's Raw? I had fun, but could have lived without the Diva Search (duh). I like Conway and don't mind Venis, but they got crapped on instantly, and Conway's new look and music is death. He'll never be taken seriously if they keep it up. I was also happy to see CM Punk and OVW's Chris Cage in the dark match, and everyone marked out for Tatanka. -
Does Raw have the worst talent in years?
Zack Malibu replied to AmazingRen's topic in The WWE Folder
There are guys on the brand that could easily put on great matches (Tajiri, Chavo Guerrero, Edge, Matt Hardy, Hurricane) but they're saddled by shitty gimmicks, not given enough time or chances to get over, etc. etc. etc. I would bet that if Chavo (I refuse to call him Kerwin) and Tajiri had 20 minutes on a RAW, we'd get an above average match at the least. -
No, Trey needs to be dead. Not in a coma. And I hope to God you didn't just spoil something .

WWE.com said Vince had a major announcement. If THIS is it, I swear I'll sell my ticket outside the casino.

Rick Rude's debut on that show was the highlight, bar none.

If we're predicting a year from now, shouldn't these be post-WM predictions? Or just what will happen within the next year?

First half of Season 2 was good, but not great. It's like they tried too much too fast. I stood by the "shake up the characters" dynamics a bit though. Best part of Season 1 was when Oliver finally revealed his "evil plan" to Ryan, and Ryan just went OFF. Honest to God, I threw my hands up like I was marking out at a wrestling show for that scene. Probably my favorite episode of Season 1.

Bah, I've still got your number. I'll just have to harrass you that way from now on.

I could see the rehired Noble (downhome country boy) and Spanky (dorky sidekick type) forming a team to feud with them. Noble and Spanky can be the bickering but effective face duo, and their personalities would be the polar opposites of Nitro and Mercury.

Jillian toiled in OVW for years without a contract, and much like Dinsmore made a big sacrifice (in his case, choosing to play a retarded man, in her case, getting breast enhancement and I believe a nose job) in order to get noticed. She finally does so, and THIS is what they give her? Oh, and Melina being the "star" of MNM is pretty similar to how it was in OVW. A lot of angles were built around her (Ken Doane putting up his car for a night with her, etc.).

When I was in Planet Hollywood during my Florida vacation, the video for Soul Decision's "Oooh It's Kinda Crazy" came on, and I hadn't listened to that song in a good two years (despite it being on my computer). Since that trip I can't get that or "Faded" out of my head.

I have a sinking feeling this is more of a "get them before TNA does" hiring rather than a "let's actually utilize the good workers" hiring.
