I want Yi to pull a Wang ZhiZhi and tell the Chinese national team to go fuck themselves. Of course, that didn't work out that well for the 7 foot Wang.
-
So the Chinese National team's head guy says they are going to block Yi from coming to the Bucks. I personally feel sorry for the guy. His only comments after being drafted by the bucks at first were that he was happy to play for them and he doesn't think he would be traded. then comes his handlers, agents, and national team demanding he be moved and everyone is looking at him as a villian.

If the enforcement of the policy is a joke then the policy is a joke, no matter how 'solid' the language of it is. No its not. You can't point at a written policy, like those on news shows have been trying to do and some here as proof that their wellness policy is a joke when the policy itself is very solid. The written policy IS a joke. It is bullshit that the prescription loopholes (for injury rehab and TRT) are there. It's bullshit that 4:1 isn't a failure. It's bullshit that it doesn't require a witness to collection of urine samples. First the witness requirement is just guess work that happened about what, a page back. Lets not chalk that up to fact. Second, the reason any loop hole exist anywhere in society is that there are legitimate reasons for it being there and it gets exploited by those who don't need it. The only thing that makes any law or rule a loop hole is your ability to exploit it. Could the WWE take more time to investigate every doctor that the wrestlers use. I guess they could, but seriously, if it took the DEA 5-6 years to get Astin, what the hell are the WWE going to do? I personally would like to see them go to using required company doctors and that could eliminate that, but that is a tough thing to require. Especially when the workers pay their insurance. But I don't see how you can call the policy is bullshit because a legitimate addition to it is being exploited. Third: 4:1 is a fail in legitimate sports because it gives a unnatural advantage to one over ther other. That is not the case in professional wrestling. A 4:1 ratio is not going to fuck you up health wise. I don't see why 4:1 becomes the offical line between good policy and bullshit policy because legitimate sports use it. And the reason they stop at 3:1 is because that can occur naturally. 4:1 doesn't occur naturally that often although it can happen. and if your shit is 5:1 in the NFL and you have a valid doctors prescription you are not going to get suspended there either by the way. Now I don't see you pulling that off with a 7:1 or 9:1 ratio in the NFL, but at the same time, I don't think its going to fly in the WWE either, because then you are talking about dangerous levels of this shit in your system. There are guys beating every testing system in the world no matter what it is. The WWE is going to be no different. But looking at their policy I don't see how you can say its a bad one or that they are BS'ing. If you go off of rumours or reported stories, then fine, I can see where you are coming from, but pointing at their policy as it is written as a sign of bullshit is just not very accurate. -

What you would have to do is prove that the enforcement is a joke and honestly I am not completely sold on that. Not when you have documented examples of someone being fired and suspended because of infractions. Not when you have the mysterious injuries that suddenly affect the more important wrestlers and they disappear for oddly 30 days at a time. Do I think alot of the guys are bypassing it? Yes. Same for every sport there is. there are guys that have found away around it and are using. But I don't see people blaming the NFL, the Olympic committee and all of the other organizations when you have a guy admit 3-4 years later they were on roids and every other drug possible. -

The point I am trying to make is that the WWE drug policy is not a "joke" or "bs". How they inforce it might be, but the language of the thing is pretty solid. -
If you don't give a crap about wireless controllers like me, you can get the core for a little less than the 299 online and buy a harddrive for like 60 bucks from ebay. Sure that only saves you like 40 bucks, but 40 bucks is 40 bucks.

Lashley had to drop out of a PPV match and missed, what, about a month because he had some "medical condition with his liver". He got suspended, although I don't see how he would be any cleaner now honestly. -
What if Jim Mora Jr. or any Falcons coach for that matter decided to make, i don't know, ONE adjustment at half time of that NFC Championship game in 2004. I personally feel they could have taken the Eagles if not for alot of dumbass calls in that game (first and goal from the 3 yard line....lets pass it for 3 straight downs!). Falcons make it to a superbowl, and I don't have to listen to half the retards in Atlanta now.

Not saying that they have a "all our guys are clean" policy or anything, but that policy doesn't say anything like that. Anything over 4 and they will do additional test to determine if it is a positive or not. So once again, according to this policy, a ration of 5 CAN lead to suspension. Not saying that it does, but from a policy standpoint, this is actually pretty solid. You are allowed up to a 4:1 ratio (which, is high but at the same time, its the same as the NFL apparently) anything more than that more testing is done. At 10, its a automatic fail. Saying that according to policy they allow up to 10:1 is quite a bit misleading as the policy itself doesn't say anything close to that. I don't doubt that the ones getting caught are pure idiots because they probably are told in advanced and probably aren't watched when they take a piss. But those bashing the written policy, I honestly don't see what you can bash here. -

And that right there is why the WWE steroid testing is a complete joke. um....why is that? According to this policy you COULD get suspended for a T/E ratio of 5. 10 is a automatic suspension. 5-9 is where more test are done. Am I missing what the problem is here. Or better yet, how this makes Kennedy or Finley misinformed or lying when they said that they had to have a ration of 4? -
No way I see that happening for a long time(as in, not in the generation of games). The only thing that is going to push the DVD9 capacity limit is a game with a SHIT load of FMV, which would eat up quite a bit of space. Model geometry, textures, things of that nature really aren't going to push the capacity limits of today. The PS3 games will probably be able to have a more cinematic feel to them because they are going to have the room to put all that FMV effects types of stuff in there to make it prettier, but when it comes down to gameplay, it shouldn't sway much of anything.

Are you looking to sell any of your old stuff. I have been chugging along with my C2500L for all these years and got a fucking scratch on the fucking lens the other day so now I am looking to "upgrade" By upgrade I mean older digital SLR's that noone wants anymore, along the same vein as the 2500L.
-
Worthless crap used for nothing. Niether HD-DVD or Blu-Ray come close to filling all that space they have on them. You can fit a Hi def movie on a regular DVD disk but would have room for the programming and menus and extras and stuff. HD-DVD and Blu-ray use the extra space for that and there is a obscene amout of empty space left. A couple of the guys in development at work told me that they could really do more with HD-DVD programming wise right now for some reason, but Blu-ray was the accepted format simply because that extra space might one day be used. Then they laughed because they know it isn't.
-
You know you can do the same thing with the 360, right?
-
Blu-ray isn't better technology. Its has better support which is why there never was a race. All the major companies backed Blu-ray.

Plus they are probably going to buy out Darius MIles eventually. I just don't understand why a point guard would sign there.
-
So, steve blake DOESN'T want to get any playing time apparently. Because he is not getting more PT than Jack or Rodriguiez and would have been a starter in Denver. Mikki Moore...back to mediocrity for you. What the fuck was Sacramento thinking? Brad Miller, Spencer Hawes, Shareef, Kenny Thomas(does he still play?) and you add Mister "i am a product of Jason Kidd's vision" on the team. Morris Petterson to the Hornets is a good signing.

What if the falcons hadn't gone to the superbowl in 1998? You think the local press would remember that the falcons fucking SUCKED for 20 years before Vick got here and for some reason, now if we don't win the Super Bowl every year its because "vick is the worst QB EVAR!!!!"

I guess it depends on how many 60 gig systems they have already produced. If that supply can hold for quite a while then they can sell those on target with the next price cut for the 80 gig model....or something. ... Yeah...pretty fucking stupid.
-
They need to get money to be able to resign all these young guys in like 2 years. Plus, the only way to display Randolph was for him to get the majority of the touches, thus limiting the effectiveness of Oden and Aldridge for half a season. Not worht it.

Sure, some guys are still doing them, and other pain pills. Only a fool would argue otherwise, but writing a story about Soma Comas as if it's happening today the way that it was 10 years ago is like talking about Bill Clinton as if he were still the president. I think that pretty much covers it. And for the people defending Mero and his list. His list contains alot of things that have nothing to do with wrestling. Giving a blind number on a show about the effects of steroids in wrestling is at best irreasponsible of him. He isn't a idiot, he knows what he is doing. He knows he is a former wrestler with a list with over 100 dead wrestlers and that is what they want to hear. Never mind the Yoko's, JYD's, Owens, part time indie wrestlers on the list. The subject of these shows are roids, their effects on wrestling and the WWE. Bottomline is that the VAST majority of these list have nothing to do with the WWE. if he was just trying to point out something for change, perhaps he would have mentioned that once or twice. or edited out the guys that were just in unavoidable incidents or obesity or cancer. But nope...that might make his list shorter. -
I would think they are trying to deplete the stock in the European and Austrailian markets. But I find this hard to believe. no company would be this stupid.

I still think it is a bit odd. Here, it seems well informed means having a "source" tell you something that you have never seen before and saying that it is true. Actually working for the company doesn't mean you know a thing about what is going on in the company. Because you actually see stuff and didn't have a source tell you what they saw and heard. The reason I agree with Kennedy here, is because you are seeing guys just trying to get on shows and extend their 15 minutes. Mero's list o death has been growing for his last few appearances. Yet he is credible now? No, someone that hasn't been in the locker room for 10 years aren't relevant to speak about the going ons now. I am more inclined to listen to the guys that have actually been their recently. Instead you get guys that last were in the WWE in 1992 talking about how the locker room now is nothing but roid popping, coke snorting party animals. Keller says the WWE could send guys to do interviews. Really. They should go do interviews on shows where the "reporters" do nothing but shout over, interrupt and cut off guys and only serve the purpose to make them look bad. Yeah that makes sense. Its simple. There have been 30 "wrestlers" and ex wrestlers coming out talking about how Vince should be held responsible, how this is about steroids and how they have no question that steroids were involved and how someone needs to step in and stop Vince. Thats fine and dandy because that is what alot of people want to hear and believe. But Kennedy and Hardy defend the company they actually work for, and are far more in the know of what is going on backstage than ANY person that you have seen on the other side of the spectrum in this argument and they are just spewing the company line, they are lying, they haven't done the "research" that others have done(that is fucking laughable by the way) and blah blah blah. The naysayers have just as many reasons to be negative as the defenders have to be positive. Being negative gets you TV time and exposure. But of course that couldn't be motivation. I think it is actually naive to believe that the company is the same roid popping, drug crazy locker room it was 20+ years ago. But believe what you want. All I am saying is that it is hypocritical to call one side liers because they work for the WWE but ignore that the other side is full of guys that got fired by the same company.
