Zaza is the most damned frustrating players I have ever watched with regularity. First, he is a horrible defender. Like criminally bad. Amare with out the occasional shotblock. But he is a damn good offensive rebounder. Some nights on offense, he is aggressive and can seemingly score at will. The next night he does this fucking thing where he ONLY looks to draw the foul. Now he will drive to the whole 15 times that night but every time will stop, pump fake and try to draw the foul, only to have his shot blocked or for him to miss. If he would play aggressive every game instead of every other game he would be pretty fucking good. Right now he is just good. He is probably the Hawks 4th best overall player, although I loved him coming off the bench behind Solomon Jones late last year.

Well, it'd be one thing if some random WWE office worker said that, but that was from the head of WWE legal department since 1994, Jerry McDevitt. And I would assume that with the wellness policy, the wrestlers had to document why they were taking steroids and who perscribed them. But the wellness policy hasn't held any water to me since Chris Masters inflated again, so whatever. You have to admit that it is sloppy reporting though. If it was, say, a basketball player, they wouldn't say "did steroids have anything to do with this?" It was simply, "Wrestler kills family" and they all went "oh, its must have been roid rage". -

Its the same because you are taking it out on an inanimate object. If you argue with your wife while playing a video game, the controller will probably get tossed. Okay, maybe not a PS3, but if you brought home 500,000 a year, then maybe. I have gotten pissed before and stupidly punched a wall. But Ripper ain't stranglin niggas now is he? If he used any version of the crossface to kill the kid, he would have had to tourque back on his body, and the 7 year olds spine would have probably been broken. and bruises would have been under his throat that looks like strangling. And seriously, the "apparently Beniot felt his son wasn't big enough" crap is just stupid. The kid was undersized due to his condition. I don't see why you have to try and sensationalize a story about a father killing his wife and son, leaving bibles next to them and hanging himself. Isn't that sensational enough? -

Please explain how kick some furniture oare out of the ordinary violent acts but throwing a controller is on a differnet level. One can argue that if you get that pissed off over a fucking video game, you have deeper issues and get violent over less than someone that was in a argument with his wife. The divorce papers and the restraining order were in result of the furniture smashing, which would seem to say that it was a out of the ordinary occurance and it scared Nancy. If anything these acts look like someone who repressed anger and had this huge violent outburst when he was taken to some point to make him deranged at that moment. But see this last post you made, this was fine. Its the high and mighty mocking of other post in the thread that you and others have been doing that is just fucking annoying. I have yet to see anyone say "Beniot is still cool man. Nancy and the kid shouldn't have made him kill them." Everyone is saying what a horrible act it is/was and he should be vilified for it. But I think people are trying to dig all deep and say that Beniot was a psycho in 2003 puts Nancy in a negative light, as if she was some one just getting the shit beat out of her all the time and didn't leave when everything about this says it was unexpected and unpredictable, and kicking furniture in 4 years ago does not serve as a telling sign to his true nature. His true nature would be the one that he displayed 90% of the time and that was the guy that everyone who knew him loved, and respected as a man and as a father. I can still watch beniot matches because that isn't the guy that committed these acts. Some deranged out of its mind version of that guy did it. I don't think when Beniot was celebrating in the ring with Nancy and Daniel he was thinking of how he could take them out then, nor do I think he was getting the cable cord ready in 2003 when they had an argument. And in saying that, I am not saying "YEAH.. GO BENIOT!!!!!!!". So all the "this thread is hilarious, now beniot is a hero" type post are coming off as uppity bullshit from people making up statements that aren't there. -

Um. No. It really isnt' Being you are a resident video game fanatic, I know you have probably thrown a controller or two in your life thanks to frustration over a game. How is that any differnt from kicking some furniture? Does that mean you are a violent person now. Think of every time you have kicked at something when frustrated and you are talking about same thing. So yes, when you are trying to say that a guy has a history of being violent in regards to STRANGLING two people, kicking the fucking sofa isn't exactly proof of it. -

He starred in a David Cronenberg movie? Well, he probably did own it because that movie kicked fucking face. -
They would still have Diaw and Barbosa to build around. Not huge, but something. Plus seriously. we are talking about a championship here. And there is no reason to think they couldn't pull another 3-4 years out of Marion, Garnett and Nash. none of the three have shown any signs of slightly slowing down as of right now.

You can't name one highschool football player whose body was ready to take the rigors of a NFL football season. they need the extra years of physical conditioning to take the punishment of running into or getting ran into at full speed. And yeah, you are right about the cap and retiring, my bad. But at the same time, a guy isn't going to have a huge contract in the NBA until after his third season at the earliest. So its not like a guy blowing out his knee in his 3rd NBA season is going to put a franchise in salary cap hell. Take Shawn Livingston for example. If he had gone to college he never would have made a penny and that simply isn't fair to him.

You're the one who dropped out of his Facebook group, buddy. Once again, I joined the group before all the facts came out so I (and thousands of others who joined) could honor the memory of Chris Benoit. Now that I know what went down, that changes everything. At this point, being in that group would be akin to being in an O.J. Simpson group. Still, the point is that I'm not gonna waste my time bashing this guy, not because what he did wasn't wrong, but because there's no point in doing so, especially when the man is DEAD. Hitler is dead too and fuck that guy. There is nothing wrong with saying fuck him and I hope he burns in hell. He did kill his wife and kid for christ sake. -

yes. So just to review. The 6foot 4 two hundred and something lb drunken steroid user constantly beats his wife which statistically leads to him eventually killing her if she stays and SHE is the bitch for mentioning it because she happened to leave before he did it. Alrighty...got it. -

To the people with "beniot had a history of violence" thing, you do notice that he didn't touch his wife when she filed for divorce right? She said he beat the shit out of the furniture and she felt threatend. Now with what happened, people will look at that as "SEE, he always had it in him!!!!!" But it also can be looked at as he got really pissed off before and his reaction was to hit everything that wasn't his wife. Find a time Nancy said he touched her, or a single person that saw one bruise. Once again, having a woman file for divorce on you does not show a history of violence. Once again, everyone that knew the guy top to bottom talked about how he was the model of composure and would never do anything like this, although his demeanor changed in the last year. Saying a person was always crazy makes people feel comfortable and safe because obviously, noone close to them could do something like this because they aren't crazy and violent. But the fact of the matter is, this guy, that up until this moment was, according to any type of character verification you will attempt to find, was a great guy, and a family man that loved his kids. Something went wrong in his brain at some point and he committed some horrible acts, but to believe that for the past 22 years he was really a murdering psycho who was just fooling everyone that he knew and had known him his entire life and waiting to unleash his murderous plan on the world, thats just a little naive. There is a reason that wrestlers lined up to give their thoughts on Beniot at the tribute show. If in their minds they thought that maybe he was the one that strangled his 7 year old son, trust me, they wouldn't have put themselves in that position. The people that were around him 90% of the time didn't think it was possible. His wife, she was a strong woman, and if she thought it was slightly possible that he was going to do something like this, don't you think that she woudl have gotten the fuck out of dodge earlier? Dude lost his fucking mind. Simple as that. And if it makes you sleep better at night to think that this has always been his nature, then fine. But you all know full well that Chris Beniot, the guy that was respected by so many people close to him, was not the psycho child and wife killer that he ended up being in the end. -

So you really think that Beniot when he met Nancy was all "I am gonna choke that bitch to death....no...wait....I am going to wait for her to have my child first....THEN choke that bitch to death....AND the kid." I don't think saying this was outside the realm of normal behavior for him is denial. Or else they need to check the yard. -

Oh, and why is it "fuck debra" for talking about her situation in relation to this one? because Austin didn't manage to beat her to death, just managed to beat her? -
I remember the Knicks begging Allan Houston to retire and the Magic fans begging Grant Hill to retire, and the Pacers begging Jonathan Bender to retire so that they could take those guys off for cap space. I am not a hundred percent sure though.

Amare and Joe....plus Josh Smith. There would be a brawl by allstar break. But they would be a playoff team automatically. And I would love if Atlanta sent Salim Stoudimire to Phoenix in the deal...just because. While I could see the Suns moving Amare out East so they don't have to see him as much, I don't know if this will happen. I do maintain that trading Amare and keeping Marion would be the best move. They would have one of the best defensive starting 5 in the league (Thomas, Garnett, Marion, Bell, Nash), one of the best rebounding front courts, and wouldn't be losing any real depth.
-
Actually in the NBA they can just retire and the team gets the cap space back. I understand why in the NFL, but the NBA has to be the only job in America where you are required to risk your future livelihood for free first.

Idea? the kid was mentally retarded. There is no theory on that one. As for the crossface thing, the kid was tiny. Fucking dwarfish. He was too small for him to do that. Rear naked choke is most probably what was used, with the lack of bruising on the kid. You know, i watched the tribute show last night, as I didn't get a chance to see it on Monday, and honestly, not one bit of it hit me as disturbing. you saw some matches with the guy, you saw the people that spent almost every waking moment with him for the past few years being completely honest about what he meant to their lives. Do I believe that he loved his family? Yeah, I do. I think he probably was a good father (don't know about husband). But the fucker went psycho and killed them all. I know you guys are saying we don't know him and all that shit, but the kind of asshole that always had this type of violence in them doesn't start off by killing his wife and a 7 year old. You have guys that knew him that said they never knew him to lose his temper, let alone do this and I don't think they are just feeding bullshit. The guy they knew wasn't the same guy who choked his wife with a cable cord and suffocated his son. -
I hate it now, and when some poor kid that could have made millions gets seriously injured in college and ends his career and chance to get his family out of poverty, I am going to despise it with all my being.

The suns held workouts for alot of guys projected to go in the top 10 today, since they are looking to get the Bobcats pick. AND the Celtics brass were there in phoenix to check things out. I think if the Suns manage to get in the top 10, that pick, plus the atlanta one next year along with Marion would make one heck of a package of things to send off.

That enclosed battery thing just can't be a good idea. What is the lifespan on those things?

You know what I am sick of hearing? "JUST marion and picks for KG?" Really? Marion as the main offensive focus: 21 points, 12 rebounds, 2 steals and 1.7 blocks. KG : 22 points, 13 rebounds, 1 steal, 1.7 blocks. And despite what the dumbass nba talking heads want to say, Marion was doing the same thing before Nash got there. I don't understand why people keep pretending the guy is chopped liver.
