A: Come on. Darius Miles isn't a bust. he has been injured and his career is over, but the guy has averaged double figures for 4 years straight, about 5 rebounds 2 assist and a block over the same period. I personally feel he would excel in a uptempo offense...well...WOULD have excelled in a up tempo offense. And Michael Olowokandi was never really that hyped. He was supposed to be the best big in that draft, and outside of Dirk, you would be hard to argue against it. That draft kinda sucked upon the balls for big man prospects. So for the draft. I would like the hawks to either take Horford or Yi(hey...money talks) with the third pick and Acie Law IV with the 11th pick. I would like to see the Suns take a shooter like Morris Almond or a shooter with PG like skills like Marco Belinelli with their first pick, and trade down on the second one and take either Nick Fazekas or....wait for it....Glen Davis with their second pick. Hells yeah....Glen Davis.

They make every pda phone for every carrier in the US. They are a HUGE company, but the carriers have tacked their brand in the names of the products. Like the T-moble MDA is nothing but a HTC Wizard, just like Cingular 8125, and Sprints...whatever the fuck sprint calls it. They have been doing it longer and better than anyone else, so I will trust their product, though it is obvious that it won't sell nearly as many units in the US as the I-phone because Apple is pushing it. I have to say that anyone that claims college hoops is better basketball is insane. It is extremely crappy basketball, where the crowd makes it seem like it is something. Its a bunch of guys shooting 20 footers at 30% and people pretend like they are the new Thunder Dan with twice the shooting range. They suck at finishing around the basket. A guy has 14 and 8 and he had a monster game. They over pass. They do that dumb slap the floor "NOW I AM PLAYING D" bullshit when they absolutely suck at it. They can get away with playing that gay ass zone D because no one can shoot for shit. The big men give the illusion of having back to the basket moves when their offense is usually just a layup and a up and under. It is shit basketball for the most part with about 5-10% of its players actually being good. Then those players usually have shit coaches who can't make simple calls to utilize their guys that are ridiculously better than everyone else on the court. It is a league where there are 6'1 shooting guards that can't dribble that well and 6'4" powerf orwards that can't really rebound that well. Its fucking little league bullcrap and I am sick of people calling it more polished basketball. it sucks ass. I would rather watch the IBL or the ABA or CBA than that shit.

He is in his third year and averages a few less rebounds and points than KG. Take his last third of the season last year, he had better numbers than KG. Kevin is a much better defender, playmaker and jump shooter, but Jefferson is one of the last of a dying breed in the NBA. A guy that can score with his back to the basket consistantly. Plus, once again, he is like 10 years younger. You can resign him for the next 8 years and his contract, even if he maxes out, will still be way way way cheaper than KG. Bottomline, I wouldn't trade Jefferson for KG straight up if I were Boston, because they aren't that close to the championship. I would trade Amare for KG straight up because, although it would sacrifice a few seasons down the road, the suns are right there in the hunt right now.

If he weren't a number one overall pick I would say he is servicable, goddamn. He is quite bust-esque. But if he had gone to college he would have Kandi maned those kids and still would have been a lottery pick bust. But I put him somewhere in between bust and those second tier guys I listed.

Jermaine O'Neil, Amare, Z-Bo, Shawn Livingston when he knee is in one piece, Josh Smith, Rashard Lewis, Tracy McGrady, Dwight Howard, Eddy Curry, Tyson Chandler, Monta Ellis, Al Jefferson, Al Harrington, Stephen Jackson all came right from Highschool and made various impacts (from being right up there with the best in the league, to being damn good, near allstar caliber players) Guys like Travis Outlaw, Jackie Butler, Deshawn Stevenson, Gerald Green, Martell Webster, JR Smith, Kedrick Perkins, Diop all have made their marks in the league or have shown that they aren't going anywhere. The short list of High schoolers who could be declared bust are Korleone Young, Jonathan Bender(although, had he gone to college, he would have had the smae knee problems and never would have made a dime in the NBA. Can't see how you can say it would have ben better for him not to declare), Leon Smith(good player...just a psycho), Darius Miles...KINDA. He did have some very productive years, but his career is basically over now... Ousmane Cisse(who no one thought should have dclaired anyway), Nubi Ebi(who looks damn good in the NBDL), James Lang, and MAYBE Robert Swift(who just got injured, but was showing signs). Thats MAYBE 7, but I wouldn't really count Swift and Miles.
