The finally was good but it needed to be AWSOME to tie up this season. And yeah, I loved the end. I thought jack was going to kill Heller which kept me on the edge of the seat. The staring off into the sunrise thing was stupid though. Mostly because they were trying to make it seem like Jack was about to kill himself (shots of him with the gun looking over the edge at the rocks below) and we know that wasn't going to happen. I haven't had a problem with Kim Raver from the start, because her and her dad tried to kill themselves instead of letting america look weak within the her first few hours on the show. Thats gangsta. I didn't care about Chole being pregnant and Doyles crying like a bitch was kinda funny. I am not sure what they were trying to go for with Milo's ninja brother though. Guess thats just another question mark. The Daniels character was probably the best thing about this season all around. He went through so many shifts it was just cool, and they had the perfect actor to pull it off.

Once again, Chicago should be on the horn right now to see what it would take to get Randolph. He gives them a low post scorer, Portland doesn't exactly need him anymore. It works for both teams. No it doesn't work for Chicago. Randolph would not want to play for Skiles. He probably wouldn't want to play for Mike Woodson either, but if Atlanta gave up the #3 pick, Marvin Williams and Tyronne Lue for Zbo and Rodriguiez, i wouldn't be angry. Then the Blazers could have Oden and fake Durant

I hope the Hawks trade up a little with their pick. They need a point but Conly or law at 3 is way too high. With the 11th pick, just take the best big left. Of course, none of this will happen and they will draft a 6'9 small forward.

So to fight drug trafficing and terroism, they are raiding chicken plants to deport the people working there. Really? Because drug dealers gut chickens for minimum wage on the side. If it were about national security, they wouldn't be wasting resources on these workers. Its about getting rid of all the Mexicans. Invader....that was the dumbest thing I have ever read(okay, thats an exaggeration). You mean that more hispanics meant more Hispanic gangs? REALLY??? I would think that there were plenty of hispanic gangs when there weren't any Hispanics there. I heard that in this town with mostly a white population they have a real white gang problem there. There has to be a correlation. Like you said, all schools have to deal with gang violence in some degree. So why are you bitching about Hispanic gangs? And NoCalMike, how long exactly do you think it takes to become a American citizen?

Sigh. God dammit. Oh and Portland....Oden, Aldridge is one HELL of a front line.

Dear god don't let Atlanta get the third pick. Then Billy Knight would have to think.

Yeah. What he said. And Nomikecal, alot of what you are saying is just plain made up. It is crazy to believe that most of the illegals working here aren't contributing to taxes and social security especiall with all this free money the goverment is getting to prove otherwise. Illegals aren't working at walmart for .50 cent a hour. They are making minimum wage with the social security numbers of dead people. Taxes DO come out of those paychecks and the illegals are NEVER able to collect on said taxes coming out. This is fact. What other laws could be focused on? You are kidding right? The best use of the law enforcement we have is to take down those poor people feeding their families? Once again, this is the crime that is taking place. Poor people feeding their families. Is it illegal? Yeah. Could time be better served on something else. Plus it simply doesn't make sense. Outsourcing, something supported by the same goverment that is crying about immigration now, removes American jobs without our economy reaping the benefits. Illegal Immigration is a form of outsourcing where our economy reaps the benefits. This is what you guys are so up in arms about. I think it is going to take some real convicing for me to see the bad part about immigration. And it's going to take more than "dey tuk ar jobs" because that is complete and utter bullshit.

sigh... this is why every team should hire a quote man for their players. Any time they get asked a question, the quote man comes up and tells them what to say. This was just other worldly stupid.

Dude...Dexter kicks various types of ass.

Come on now. Don't you compare a show that the lead actor was Sticky fucking Fingas with one that has the Queen from 300.
-
If anything they are keeping social secruity alive by putting all that money into it and not collecting on it ever. They have kids, those kids are citizens simple as that and should be allowed all the freedoms that any other citizen has.
-
I have to agree with snuffbox on this one. When it all comes down to you, people are up in arms about poor people working low paying jobs to feed their families. That is the law they want to crack down on. And people that think day workers are working for a dollar a hour are, lets just say misinformed. They are working for less, true, but comeon dude. The fact of the matter is that the illegal immigrants give this nation billions of dollars of tax dollars that never has to be paid back, billions of dollars in housing, transportation cost(fuel and such) food and clothing. But THIS is the thing that so many people are so up in arms about. I don't know, but I think there are plenty of other laws that need to have focused attention upon them. Call me crazy.

For the first time I can remember like...ever, I am not routing for the team that put my team out. Because fuck San Antonio for that last series. So I am hoping that Utah takes them out and I think they have the pieces to do so. Porter asked me in IM who I thought was going to the finals and I told him that while I was prediciting Phoenix and Cleveland in the finals, I had a gut feeling it would be Detroit/San Antonio again. I never wanted to be more wrong right now. Because seriously. Fuck San Antonio.
-
They have gone as far as they possibly can with him as coach. I don't see what else his style can do for that team. They were out slowed down and out grinded in a series that they seriously should have won.
-
Yeah, add me in the "meh" group of people. The softer songs were some of the best, but like you said, they sound pretty cookie cutter. Shame. I will still probably listen to it, but not as much as I listened to Hybrid Theory and Meteora.
-
Really? Have you seen Capote? I can understand thinking Phoenix should have won, but I wouldn't call that shocking because Hoffman was great.
-
I think you can mute certain players and all that. I have to do it all the time when playing Gears, because some 11 year old has to start singing Fergie or some crap.
-
Once again...its a beta. The game graphics aren't even in the thing. You have simplified maps and simplified effects because the didn't include the full ones in the beta. The game play will probably ALMOST remain the same but it is missing certain animations right now because once again, its a beta. Seriously, i don't care about Halo, but how in the hell is it in contention for the biggest disappointment because a early build of the online game looks like a early build of a game. Like I said, the model geometry is great right now, so I expect the game to look beautiful. I think Gears might look better because dirty maps always look better than cleaner ones. So unless Halo 3 is taking place in a wrecked dirty muddy environment, it won't look as good as Gears. But it will look incredible.
-
Bas Lurman (I am sure I just misspelled his name) not getting a director nod for Moulin Rouge.
-
People are hating on the graphics which is basically retarded considering its a beta.

So the banning of modded 360s has started. No more live pretty soon for the flashed boxes.

I was happy with how they played. I am upset that I finally got robbed of my "healthy suns" versus whoever. Two years ago it was Joe Johnson. LAst year it was Raja, this year the suspensions. I really do think they can pull this out. It was tough last night because Kurt Thomas was playing so well, but they had to pull him because they couldn't score any points in the halfcourt with him out there. Plus you had to love Pop playing, what...everybody. Mike stupidly plays 6 guys(well 7 if you count Burkes 3 minutes) and Pop just keeps running fresh guys in to wear them down. I would like the say that the refs waited until game 5 to have a well officiated game. Thanks. I won't comment about the suspensions anymore because the game is over. It was just terribly double sided logic and watching that moron Stu Jackson call them "Apples and Oranges" because Duncan was only checking on the welfare of his teammate when that is CLEARLY what Diaw was also doing, drove it home even more.
-
Good game for the suns. Hopefully they didn't burn themselves out this game, because winning game 6 in San Antonio should be attainable.
-
HAHAHAHA. And Amare was going to check in at the end of the game. Seriously. He raised his arm to celebrate, watched elson fall and made his way towards him and jones.

Yeah, pretty much. Piterno has brought in a oline with real size and putting in a power running game. If he gets time and still doesn't produce, then yeah time for him to move on. HIs two good years bought him two mediocre years in my eyes. Now he has a better system, a better line...the offense should produce more. Simple as that.
