Rasheed has been kicked out of games for laughing, and looking at a ref, I saw him get a tech in Atlanta for doing a chest bump with Antonio Mcdyess(seriously) while the Hawks were bringing the ball up to call a timeout. He has gotten techs for casually waving his hand after a foul call. Tim Duncan on the other hand complains about EVERY call. (seriously, watch a Spurs game...EVERY call and so does Bowen). I don't like the fact that that they are finally punishing Crawford for getting Duncan with the same shitty calls he has given other players in the league for years. I want them to be consistant with it. And yes, I understand that my favorite team has two of the biggest complainers in the league (Nash/D'antoni) but I don't care. stay even with tech calls all around. Rasheed gets at least 8 really really bad ones a year. Duncan has a couple of hundred instances where he should have gotten one but didn't. I don't like them making superstar bias so blatant

Watching this psycho, I doubt there was an assumption that he wasn't going to shoot them. That is the difference in the situations.

Do people even pay attention to the fact that they just stab the shit out of each other in the utopian European countries. Getting stabbed to death and shot to death are the same results. At the same time, Students having guns wouldn't help. A student having a gun is what caused the entire goddamned problem in the first place. Being able to lock a door would have helped. Maybe not having class with a killer on the loose would have helped too. Not much can stop a person from killing alot of people if they want to sadly. That is just the way it is. It isn't expected that someone will just come in and start trying to kill everyone. But the more students that have guns is the more likely that it will happen. Thats one more person that could see killing everyone as what needs to happen because they are having a bad day. I just don't see how that would be the answer.

Jacks conversation with the President was right up there with some of his David Palmer conversations. I personally wasn't feeling president DB Woodside until he came back out of the coma and started giving some spirited performances. That convo with Jack where he pulled the YOU OWE ME card was great as well as the revelation that Jack will kill him and everyone around him just to make sure this works. The presidents stroke, though predictable, was great, although you already admitted that. I kinda like the Cloe stuff too. Especially Bill casually telling her that he can't trust her. It was a transition ep but one of the better ones.

Dude, I am not trying to take a guy with a knife either unless I think he is trying to kill everyone. Plus, what is he going to do...throw it at me when I start running. This isn't tough guy talk. This is simple fight or flight. When flight is no longer an option (and its almost always an option) you need to do something. But like Eric has explained, the chance to survive was present when the guy left the room those times so yeah, I would have been huddled in a corner hoping he would have come back. If I was on flight 93 and they told me they were turning the plane around and going somewhere else and noone would get hurt, I wouldn't have rushed them even though they just had box cutters. I will never ever rush anyone unless I think that I am going to die if I Run, hide or fake dead. And I thought that was the situation these kids were in.

I don't think anyone is saying that it is out of the realm of possibility, I think they are saying its kinda fucking stupid that something happens and you think "Oh man....probably was a Muslim" when lets face it, school shootings = White guy should be the usual assuption as that is what it usally is. I wouldn't get mad or shocked if people assume black people are involved in "Gang related shooting at MLK High in Compton" . It would be a little silly to say "Oh...musta been a Arab". That sounds an awful lot like what I said in my first post. I said attack the attacker when there are no more options. I thought the guy locked himself in the classroom with the students with a chain and lock so they couldn't get out and started shooting at least 50 people multiple times each with two guns that held 17 bullets. That wasn't the case as Eric explained to me, but if it was and there was no other option outside of faking dead, you would have to think mobbing the guy would have to come up as a "If I don't do this I am going to die" situtation. Once again: 1: Run 2: Hide 3: Lie down and hope shooter moves on 4: Fake Dead 5: If all else fails, make a move and hope for the best. I personally heard the situation as at least 1-3 failed and obviously was going to fail miserably.

So at what point does it seem like a good idea to stop lying down or being up against a wall when a psycho is walking in shooting people doing that. Once again, not saying I am Mr. Hero or something. My first option would be to run, second would be to lay down, third would be to fake dead. But if I see none of that shit is going to work...its time to gather the troops and go at the guy and hope for the best. And everytime I see one of these school shootings, they usually are a time to do that.

Fuck fun, I don't want the Suns to play the Warriors. I need the Lakers to keep winning, the Warriors to keep winning and the Clippers to lose. If the Suns win tonight and Dallas loses (which I have a good feeling they will) things are looking up. I also need Camby to be nice and fresh for that matchup against the Spurs. Interesting series coming up. All that cute fit in crap is about to be out the window. One of the great competitors ever is back in the playoffs against the spurs, who, well...have sucky perimeter defense....lets just leave it at that.

Yeah, that was a pretty good goddamn hour. I think this season as a whole has been good once you saw where everything was going. As singular episodes, not as strong, but as a whole product, pretty fucking good. These last two eps have been especially good. Plus, rouge Bauer....we have gone too long without you...well...except for that part where he went to save the converted terrorist earlier this year, but that was for what....half an hour?

I expect this one to be Hulk SMASH instead of a story like the first one. I have to admit, Gamma Dawgs was stupid, and so was the final fight, but I liked the first movie. And it was beautifully directed.

Maybe because I watch them the most. Me liking a team doesn't mean I have to like all the players. I can't STAND Joe Johnson, but he has played for both of my favorite teams. The Directing was the only thing not wrong with the Underworld movies. Seriously...fuck those movies. But yeah, I will definately see this because...well... Bruce Willis does great action flicks. There is just no denying it.
