Since I made that shitty thread with a bunch of no talents yelling at each other, I figured I should hype this guys mixtape which is coming out on the 22nd. Royce is one of the more underrated artist out there, even though his last few albums have been pretty incredible. For now, a few tracks from him recently. This Mixtape will be HOT. Go Get'em. Using a beat from Jeezy's album much better than Jeezy did. http://www.zshare.net/audio/royce_da_59-go...em-mp3-6em.html Dream http://www.zshare.net/audio/royce-the-dream-mp3.html Remix of Hip hop with the Hip hop is dead beat: http://www.zshare.net/audio/royce-da-59-re...t-dead-mp3.html A Million and 1 http://www.zshare.net/audio/17-royce_da_59..._and_1-mp3.html Ding Ding....just a sick song http://www.zshare.net/audio/royce-da-59-ding-ding-mp3.html

His numbers for the last 4 years and the first 4 are 10.7 points and 5.15 assist. (I am counting this year in Miami by the way unless someone thinks he is going to get a couple hundred assist in the last 8 games). This is his 17th year. In his 9 good years he averaged 21.3 points and 8.1. Conversely Kevin Johnson averaged 20.0 points a game and 10.0 assist over his 8 good years ( I am taking one off because he only played 48 games that year, leaving him 8 good years.) Also during that time Johnson was averaging 1.63 steals to Gary's 2.11 steals(just saying, Johnson wasn't exactly NoSteals Mcgee out there either) Are the numbers really close? YES. And thats my whole point. I started this by saying, I hate hearing how much of a lock Gary Payton is and he was blah blah blah, but at the same time say that others like Johnson and the similarly stated Mark Price and Tim Hardaway are either not locks or don't belong in the Hall when Payton has done nothing to separate himself from the pack than play 8 mediocre seasons of basketball. Physically, that is great that he stayed in shape, but he wasn't doing anything of substance out there. I am saying either they all belong (which i feel they do) or none of them do (and you can't argue that Gary doesn't belong). But seriously, I don't see how you can say sticking around and putting up Eric Snow numbers should be the difference between calling a guy a Lock for the Hall of Fame or not deserving.

I am not denying he was one of the great players of his era too. But I am not off on my analysis. Look at it. He has been pretty much a non factor for the last 4 years and he was a non factor for his first 3 before having a pretty decent year his 4th. Thats half his career. The numbers that put him ahead of Hardaway and Johnson and Price on the all time list are due to him playing longer. Not playing better for a longer time, just playing longer. If payton had retired 4 years ago when he was no long a real factor in the game, his numbers would be no better than Johnsons and Hardaways, and a little worse actually. Yes he was a premier defender, but Johnson and Hardaway weren't bad defenders. They were both considered pretty good defenders actually, Payton was just much better. But at the same time Johnson Price and Hardaway were better playmakers and scorers than Payton. And once again, Payton couldn't come close to stopping any of the other great guards in the 90's. THey used to move him to two guards and small forwards because he lacked the lateral quickness to stay with them. but he could lock down bigger players, which is where the GLOVE came from.

Once again, here is why I am not caring that Payton wins in those catagories. For EIGHT years out of his SIXTEEN year career he averaged 10 points and 5 assist. Those aren't Hall numbers or even all star numbers. But even with those mediocre to predestrian numbers, they added: 6,854 points and 3,290 assist. Gary Payton has 2242 more Assist than KJ and something like 8 thosand more points. I don't have the time to look up Hardaways, but I guarentee that the points and assist are probably closer. I just don't think that playing 8 subpar years should be the difference maker between hall of fame lock and maybe. KJ and Tim Hardaway(okay...KJ could have kept playing. Nobody wanted TIm) could have kept playing and puting up 10-5 for a few years and would have the same stats as Payton, only they retired when they stopped being relevant to the game. That should not shove Gary to the top of the heap. Thats why I still say, you have to look at the best years, how many there were and what they did in those years. ANd Kevin Johnson and TIm Hardaway both had better numbers than Payton in their good years, both of which lasted about 10 years. Once again, my whole point. If Gary gets in, so should KJ and Tim Hardaway and Mark Price, because they played just as many good years as him, they were better in their good years than he was in his, but they just didn't hang around looking for a ring like he did.

what the hell does "QFT" mean? I am behind in my internet speak. -
That does come from wiki, but you can check those sources (FBI) on their War on Drugs entry. Re: Nate Newton...should a guy with a couple garbage bags full of comic books be incarcerated as well? That's about the same level of health risk. Um...being arrested isn't the same as getting a prison term. We are talking about prisons here, and to get a prison term, you have to at very least be charged with intent to distribute, and that is not "simple" possession of marijuana.

I never said Newt had a problem with blacks. His history says otherwise honestly. Its is possible to be racist without black people being involved at all...shocking I know. But if I you are at work and ask someone "Hey, do you speak Spanish" and they respond by saying "No, I'm not from the ghetto." there is a very good liklihood people will say its okay. Its a racist statement. I don't see how you can make that sentence anything but a racist statement. People keep focusing on the "English the this countries language part" (which is fair and correct) and not the fact that he tacked on a extremely racist statement at the end. A bad choice of words and outright racist statments are two completely different things.

... why not?

I saw a completely different stragedy than the playoffs a few years back. Then, San Antonio didn't even try to slow the game down, they went up tempo with the Suns (as soon as phoenix hit a shot, it was out the net and gone) then slowed it down in crunch time, which was genius because that threw the suns off after they had been playing their game for 3 quarters. Last night, the suns came out not shooting well, and the spurs slowed it down. only they weren't shooting well either and couldn't make a bigger gap. This SHOULD have been a 30 point blowout had anyone been able to hit a shot. But what I did like was that Phoenix didn't double team duncan and stayed on San Antonio's 3 point shooters (except Finley who was pulling up on breaks and long rebounds) the same way that San Antonio does to the Suns. It made me look forward to a series between the two. While I still think that the Suns could have taken that series or at least pushed it to 7 if joe Johnson was playing, it was obvious that the Suns were trying to beat a better all around team that year. I don't think the same can be said now. So while there will be article after article about the dominant Spurs (again) this win is no more or less telling than the Suns winning by 16. I see two evenly matched teams. Should be a fun series. I don't think there is a clear cut better team between the Mavs/Suns/Spurs and a series containing any one of these three teams could go either way.

I think you are down playing Eaton a little there. He was a monster Shotblocker adn I think he made 6 or 7 all defensive teams. Those two DPOY awards he won could have easily been 4-5 but we are talking about a era that featured Dennis Rodman, Alvin Robertson Michael Cooper and other moster defensive players. In the 90's it was "should we give it to Dikembe or Alonzo this year?" with Gary Payton there and not many others challenging for the crown. I will say Dikembe was a much better rebounder but I don't think pulling Allstar apperances count either because once again, it was the 80's. There was always Olajawon, Jabbar, Robinson, Ralph Sampson and others hogging the center spot. Once again, in the 90's in the West or East, there was Robinson, Shaq, Mourning, and Ewing in the entire league for the Center spot. Plus, Eaton was EXTREMELY durable when he played. He was always good for 80-82 games a year, except his last year. But I will concede. Mutumbo was a much better scorer, and rebounder, but really look at it. He barely has more blocks than Eaton and has played 5 more years. Eaton should be in on his defensive stats alone. I mean the guy averaged 3.5 blocks for his career for chist sake.

man. The suns got steve kerr a little nervous there, almost making his 2 hours of sucking spur dick seem pointless. Good game though. Happy the suns made a run at the end. They had a bad shooting night, missing ALOT of gimmies, but played some good defense so I can't be mad. Don't know what it would take to convince D'Antoni to play Banks on Parker to slow him down some, but hey. Its the regular season. Heres to hoping that the Spurs catch the Lakers in the first round and a possessed Kobe Bryant takes them out.
-
I don't know. If they don't put in Mark Eaton, which they aren't, I don't see why Mutumbo should make it. Of course I guess this is the longevity argument again.

I'll never understand why a girl with a nice set of breast keeps trying to focus attention on her non existant BUTT. Its like her and Kelis wrote songs and as a joke decided to just switch.
-
Damn you and your correctness.
-
Yeah, I know. I don't think anybody out of the playoffs can catch them, even if they lose all the rest of their games.

Fergie's ass isn't all anything. It would have to exist to be something. That girls as is concave. Alanis is buffie the body compared to her. Ripper - just made a few people use google.

Gilbert Arenas is done for the year, including the playoffs. So....looks like the Knicks might make the playoffs.

I wanted to continue to argue some points, but I personally don't believe that C-bacon can be serious at all. The human body isn't supposed to be having sex that young. It isn't done developing. No person can seriously sit here and say they are fine with any child that has gone through puberty (which is like 10-11) having sex with each other because there is sex education. You just can't be serious or you are in a word insane. Man. Bacon, you and Invader3k are like the opposite ends of the spectrum. Neither of you could possibly get more delusional or crazy. -
Yeah, but then you would have to explain "London Bridges" and "Fergilicious". I don't think they were trying to make the point that many times.

Look more closerer.

I am remembering now. I got exposed in a music store in the mall. And then at a Hawks game.

But it is when you consider that people are paying that much because they are being told that HDMI is offering them the most amazing picture quality ever and component isn't even close, when in most setups, the difference is indeed minimal. Most people aren't just going online and realizing that HDMI is carrying a digital signal, so either you have it or you don't, so paying 120 bucks for a gold plated double insulated Monster cable is dumb. The VAST majority of consumers are paying alot of money for these cables, only because they believe it to be so superior.

I know people think I am BS-ing when I say it but I have only lost a turtle on the water board like 3-4 times. I always get through it with one turtle. usually ralph because he is expendable. Its the rest of the game that annoys me.

I don't see how you can count New York in that list. Their GM is probably the best draft guy in the league. They should bring in another GM to do trades with already established players, but if New York was to fire Isaiah, would you honestly say you wouldn't want you favorite team to have him as a draft consultant?

I finally watched Slither last night. That was a pretty fucking good movie. so I have watched : Stranger than Fiction, Mission Impossible 3, Slither, Wickerman, Little Miss Sunshine, Blood Diamond, Lucky Number Slevin, That paul walker movie (run something or other) The Black Dahlia and Match Point all within a week. I am catching up nicely. For the record, the only movie so far I haven't liked is Black Dahlia...and well Wickerman but I loved it at the same time for being so incredibly bad.
