Outside of injuries (and I know there have been a lot) why do people keep calling Sean May a bust? Check out his game logs for when he did play. 12 and 7 aren't exactly bust numbers. Outside of David Lee and Monta Ellis, who drafted after him has done anything to say "Charlotte really should have taken _________ with that pick."

I said bad decisions over the past couple of years. Mostly throwing the ball to his first option coverage be damed. I am not talking about delhommes career.

All of these things describe me perfectly. Yet somehow I managed to hear this song. I don't listen to radio at all. Maybe its the mall thing that got me. I can't remember, but I definately have heard it.

McGrady's back is like 40 though. I think that the team that will be incredible in a few years if they keep them there is Portland. Seriously, Aldridge, Jack, Sergio, Martell Webster, Outlaw, Roy, and Ime Udoka all have a chance to be very very very good players. Although I still say they are retarded for not trading Zach Randolf before the allstar break this year. he was having a career year coming off a shaky one with that knee, hadn't done anything mind numbingly stupid and they have Aldridge waiting in the wings. The could have moved him for a lottery pick, or for help at any position they needed or packaged him with Miles just to get rid of him. But no, the keep him. Then he ends up asking for time off for a funeral, goes to make it rain on strippers first, then gets hurt for the rest of the year dropping his trade value about 10 billion percent.

Eh. Not really. Its just better than composite. HDMI is way overrated in my eyes. HDMI overrated? HDMI is 10 times better than component and 1000 times better than composite. And S-Video does nothing for me. The thing that makes HDMI overrated is that sitting at a normal distance away from your television, the Video signal is not drastic enough to justify the cost. From DVI to HDMI, video wise is pretty much a waste of time. Now in the Audio department, yeah, it is great to be able to get such great audio and video out of one cable, but once again, if you have a digital output, the cost isn't justified. The advantages of HDMI are pretty much a cleaner hookup, A somewhat better video signal than component (once again, at normal distances. We don't watch TV like the Peanut characters) and better audio if you don't have a digital output. All at 10-15 times the cost of component hook ups. Now, I paid like 8 bucks each for my HDMI cables so yeah, at that price HDMI is not overrated, but seeing as most consumers are paying 80-150 for HDMI cables, it is overrated. People get way too caught up in some technobabble and forget that they still have to see the image with human eyes.

The thing with jake, he has somehow avoided people calling him out for his horrible decision making for the past couple of seasons. David Carr could very well earn the starting spot in Carolina, as they can't be that happy over Jakes performance now.

I find that almost impossible not to have heard that horrible horrible song. I dodged it for like 4 months, but it eventually got me.

I personally don't see people tuning every week for the adventures of melted faced silver spoons guy. At least he could change the fucking hair style, geebus. I keep expecting Alfonso Ribeiro to just randomly walk out and start dancing like Michael Jackson.

... So instead of punishing criminals we should give them LSD... ....

School bans Myspace in school AND in home.

Unless a child is paying the electricity bill, internet bill and bought the computer, then they actually don't own any of the shit in the house, therefore, they aren't entitled to privacy in that case. I guess you are also in favor to say a 14 year old bringing over their boy or girlfriend and closing the door to their room and the parents not being able to open the door, because they should respect their privacy. -

You mean sales dropped the week after launch? I bet that has never happend with anything ever.

There is no way you are serious. Really. No way. And privacy is not a fundamental right. -
I think Dennis Rodman will be the standard. If he gets in the Hardaway will probably get in. The NBA hates Rodman just as much as they hate Hardaway now. Dennis Rodman is probably the greatest rebounder in the history of the game (yeah...I said it) and didm't make the 50 greatest players. Crazy.

Don Nelson isn't in either, is he? Roy Williams being in before Nelson is just plain wrong.

I didn't want the truck, bob. You didn't even consider the money on the inside because you are white and all white people have money.
-
I swear, the first time I had to pay the car note, rent (which is higher than alot of mortgages), student loan, insurance (health, life and car) and utilities out of one check, I caught myself staring at a Brinks truck and thinking "Really...I think I could get away with this", before I snapped back to reality. Thats what real life does. It makes honest everyday citizens consider federal crime, if only for a second.

I took the pussy way out and took Latin. But I can make out quite a few sentences when I am staring at women on Telemundo, so I guess it wasn't a total waste of 4 years.

See, fade away makes it sound like they will leave slowly. It is a hard cut right into reality. Well...maybe not until you make your first payment.

Except its not. Real Estate, Stock Market are both big industries that have plenty of people getting ahead and not being able to speak English fluently. They have a working understanding of the language. Plus once again, Newt doesn't want american kids to learn any other language. How is that helpful? Newt is nothing but that old racist xenophobe that yells at people in public for not speaking english because this is AMERICA.
-
And to tack on, Newt doesn't think American kids should be taught any other language and that bi lingual studies erode the strength of this country. So its not only in America that everyone should speak English. All those other ghetto countries should learn english to so when we visit they can speak to us.
-
Because everyone that doesn't speak English lives in the ghetto.

I thought it was cool, because he never said anything since he woke up about not nuking the Middle East. He was just pissed that they said to do it without his consent. That was a very nice swerve indeed. I wonder how big of a role Doyle is going to play in this show from now on. His whining about not finding the truth or some shit added character depth that they don't give to guys they don't plan on keeping around...well...they did give Hobbit his druggy sister....but besides that, they usually don't acknowledge peoples life unless they will be around.

That last 16 point win, and I know it was regular season, just showed that they can do it. I still think you could take the Suns/Spurs/Mavs, and have series between them and a different team would win every time. They are that evenly matched in my eyes. I wouldn't be suprised if any of them won. I just don't see one of them being that much better than any of the others.

I have no problem with Gary Payton. Like i said, I am not arguing that he shouldn't be in the hall. I am arguing that he is the be all end all of points and questioning his greatness is blasphemy. Yes, if you play the 8th most games in NBA history you are going to have some great stats. But once again, we are talking about years of not being the best, but when added up is something. Yes, he deserves ALOT of credit for his longevity. You just aren't going to find guys that will be able to play all 82 or close to it for so long. But I am not going to shove him the title of second best point guard in the 90's especially when he wasn't the second best or third best any of those years except in 96 which honestly completely slipped my mind somehow and 01-02 because everyone else had shitty field goal percentages. I am just not a fan of the whole longevity argument. If you had 10 great years and 6 average ones, you will be looked on as being better than the guy that had 10 great years and retired, and thats kinda bullshit. I guess the Hall is judging the entire career, but its unfair to push guys aside who did it just as well or better than payton for just as long, the called it quits instead of becoming a hanger on to NBA contenders, which, lets be honest, is what gary has been doing for the last 4 years. My entire point is that Gary has played in 17 NBA seasons and for at least 6 of them he wasn't a top 10-15 point guard in the league. One of them, he was better than average and the other 10 were great. But the thing that is putting him above everyone else on most peoples list is the 6 pretty crappy years and the 1 average year because he has a extra 7 years on his resume and they dont. My arguement here is the same thing as when I argue with people about how they will say Michael Jordon is the greatest player of all times. I don't think he is, and just because alot of people say he is doesn't mean thats the end of the argument. As for his respect in and around the game...so does Bill Walton. And I still don't think he should be in.
