    PlayStation 3

No one is going to exclusively support the worse selling console. Not saying that PS3 won't catch up eventually, but as of right now, it lacks its killer must have game and is being outsold by the WII and the 360. Since the Wii isn't a option for some of the highend games, they have to go with the best selling console where they will most likely sell the most games. This isn't suprising seeing as this is how Sony kicked everyones ass last time, they shouldnt be suprised.

    This week in the NBA

It is fun to watch him carry the Lakers into the playoffs. But when they get their spot solidified, I think he needs to pull back and go back to that team based winning they were doing early in the year, because I just don't think they could win a series with him doing it all like this. They can win a series against pretty much anyone playing how they did at the start of last year and in that Phoenix series the year before. Him going apeshit like this allows Walton and Odem to work themselves back in which is good. I wouldn't want to play them in the first round.

    South Park: Season 11

I liked the episode. And the lice's voice was the funniest thing to me. Everytime he said "Kelly" or "Baby" I laughed and laughed hard. Plus the kids looking each other up and down while saying "Yeah....or it was you." had me laughing. I wish they had gone with someone else for the crotch lice though. Jolie? Really? What did she do to anyone.

    Joe Rogan vs. Carlos Mencia

The sad thing is Mencia kind of did the bit better than Cosby. But then again, given twenty years to revise someone else's joke you damn well better improve on it. Really? I think Cosby did a much better job than Mencia. ALl he did was say "That bitch never played catch with you" and i guess that could make it seem funnier, but really, Cosby's was better.

I...I am sorry, but seriously. Matt Shaub? That much money? They could have spent that money on a decent offensive line and gotten more production out of Carr. Geez...thats just plain stupid.

Adrian Peterson doesn't give the Falcons anything they couldn't get from Jervious Norwood. Without that nasty "injury prone" tag. If the Falcons really want to replace Dunn they need to get a banger, not a sometimes banger, sometimes outside runner (once again, that is what Norwood is). I would rather them move up and go after Joe Thomas. Personally I would rather them keep both picks, get Landry if he is there at 8, and grab a offensive lineman at 38. Move Jimmy Williams to the starting lineup as the corner opposite Deangelo Hall, Webster as the nickel back, start Landry along with Lawyer Milloy and you have a pretty decent secondary. What they should look into doing now is moving Keith Brooking for a MLB that is actually good and not a overrated "Somehow he made the pro bowl" player.

Oh I personally don't think he is ready either, but I think they are just going to go with trial by fire with him. I would trust his judgement though. He went to Alabama St. and didn't leave with AIDS. That speaks volumes for the kids ability to make the right decision. Ripper : Kinda joking....Kinda.

Aren't the Vikings kinda sold on him though? Jackson is the type of QB that everytime you will be ready to bench him, he will pass for 300+ yards and remind you of that cannon he has and make you hold it off for a few weeks.

There really is no telling. I mean they might package the picks and try to trade up and get Calvin Johnson(dumb), take the best and biggest offensive lineman available or go for the strong safety position after watching Chris Crocker give up like a thousand big plays last year. I know they were looking at Laron Landry, but he was there for the taking at 10. The major holes they have is either at the Corner or the saftey (Jimmy Williams is solid at both, but I think they should play him at SS and get another corner) and the fact that Petrino wants to have a real line and not the group of zone blocking little guys that were there before. But seeing how after Joe Thomas the next best lineman is probably Levi Brown (who you don't draft at number 8) and they could have gotten Laron Landry at the 10 spot anyway (saying why wouldn't they trade for a 2nd and another pick instead of swapping picks and moving up 2 spots) I think they might be packaging the picks for something.

Oh...well...okay, that works. And I don't think Shaub is worth a second round pick, but I think that the hype surrounding him and that ONE performance against the Patriots two years ago had teams willing to give up alot for him more than JUST a second round pick....as evidenced by the Falcons raping the Texans in this deal. Geez. Someone should get fired over that one.

    NFL Discussion Forumtable

Wow...really? I mean, that can't be the best deal out there for him? Honestly they should have traded him last year when his trade value was really really high. Well, hey, if that gives them another pick to get another lineman that I am all for it.

    Xbox 360

Yeah, I don't see the point in a HD upgrade myself. The only reason I come close to using my space is because I don't delete stuff I could easily delete. Plus you really aren't losing too much with the component HD hookup over HDMI. I guess digital sound, but really, not that big a deal to me.

Jack Bauer tortured a dude with a desk lamp. Tortured his own girlfriend. Cut off his daughters boyfriend hand a few hours after trying to shoot him in the face. Jack Bauer almost took down a plane with his belt. Jack Bauer kidnapped the president. The winner is Jack Bauer. The only person that comes close is Angel killed a werewolf with a pen, killed a guy with spoon, and has broken more necks than anyone on television. He has the highest death count without a gun.

    Rape

I am sorry , but that is laughable. Any person that thinks prison violence is needed to make prison a deterrent has obviously never known anyone or seen a prison. Coming from being poor isn't the same as having no freedom. Yeah...I'm poor. Being strip searched, eating crappy food, manual labor for free, no women, and having every second of my day controlled is still a deterrant. What do you think poor people are going through? Prison time is hard, and nothing bothers me more when I see some person say "That prisoner had time to play a video game...prison is becoming a country club". (Not you in particular, but I hear that all the time). VIOLENCE isn't a deterrent to not go to to prison for violent people. they don't give a crap and they are the ones that are committing the violent acts.

    NBA Roundtable Discussion

PG isn't really the spot for great defensive play now honestly. I think Darrell Armstrong was the best defensive point I have seen all year. Seriously. Tracy McGrady has been the best off guard defensively I believe. I liked see that because he was a pretty good defender to start his career, then just kinda stopped trying. but this year he has been guarding anything that moves on the court. On the low blocks Marcus Camby has been amazing as always and I think that DPOY should be between him, Marion and Smtih honestly.

    This week in the NBA

So I was at the Atlanta curb stomping of Sacramento last night and I got to tell ya, they need to come up with a team policy that says Ron Artest isn't allowed to touch the ball on offense. You can literally see the offense come to a screeching halt as soon as the ball makes contact with his hads. He was determined to shoot over Josh Smith which led to blocks, steals and just badly missed shots and Atlanta just kept running. Whenever he sat down, the Kings would make a run. Then Musselman left him in the entire 3rd quarter and they scored 8 points...the entire quarter. This is no exaggeration. I think that the Kings would have won this game had Artest not played....and they were losing by 30 most of it. That is a huge turn around. I will take it though.

    high school shenanigans

According to you, every kid always listens to their parents and heeds their every word. If this were the case, the planet would either be perfect, or totally fucked up beyond repair. I say if you warn the kid, and he goes to do it anyway, that's his own problem. Save his life, try to avoid horrible scars and burns if you can, but other than that let the kid work his own shit out. 4 hours of sleep, not paying attention in school, those are the kid's problems due to the kid's choices; parents saying "Go to bed" or "pay attention" isn't going to suddenly swing them around to an A student that goes to bed at 8pm. I didn't say that it did. Never did I say telling them will work all the time. But by TELLING them you do keep the divide of Me adult/you child. My point is that they are not your equal. Doing something that is for them to become better is not a point of discussion when children by nature lack the ability to see past the present. Yes, staying up late watching porn and playing video games while eating only junk food might seem like a pretty sweet life to a kid. Are you going to say that if you suggested that they not watch thing not intended for their age level, eat some what healthy and go the fuck outside and do something they are going to pick that? No they aren't because they are fucking kids. Saying "Pay attention" probably won't work. Saying pay attention and having consequences for not paying attention and forms of punishment is effective, at the very least more effective than suggesting they do it. A child will not grasp the importance oftheir schooling in the long run now. No more than a 10th grade girl will grasp that her boyfriend dumping her isn't the end of the world. It is your job as a parent to set up guidlines and tell your kids to adhere to them. Of course they are going to rebel...also part of being a child. But if you don't do your part as an adult in the equation you are simply failing your child as a parent. And honestly, you are going to sit here and pretend that a child that was told not to touch the stove but did it anyway would have not touched it if the parent said "Well...it will hurt but its up to you." Come on now.

    high school shenanigans

Because suggesting things to your kids will lead to them being spoiled idiots. Parents said don't touch the hot stove, it will hurt. How many of you have a horrid stove shaped burn on your hand? You didn't have to find out on your own. Mom said it burns then it fucking burns. By removing direct orders you are also making right and wrong turn into "Well, what do you think is right?" which is not how the world works. so yeah, you can avoid every factory job or office job you want, you can't avoid the law who will TELL you what to do or you are going to see that prison is not for everyone either.

    Rape

Seroiusly though, if you ever talk to a CO, if something violent is happening inside the gates, it can take them 3-5 minutes to get the proper gear on to go into a violent situation while preserving their safety. I am sorry but the safety of the men and women hired to patrol the prisons come at a higher importance than those that are inthere. Its unfortunate but hey...thats the case.
