Yeah. Kyle's mom is probably Cartmans mom. Cartman explaining the pictures was a highlight as well as him crying to his mom. Plus...the picture itself was hilarious.

I am trying to beat Gears of War on insane level and I am continuously getting my ass handed to me on the stage just after you beat the Corpser. Fucking dudes and their torque bows.

And lebron was coming across his body going for the ball, missed it, and committed a foul that happened to be high and hard. He was given a flagrant. Fine. but it still was a basketball play. Reaching behind your body and hitting dudes in the head with a follow through on a jump shot is not.
-
What? That ridiculous. Lets do away with steals when the player slaps the ball away and it hits the offensive player on the knee too. That was a great play.

Damn enjoyable game although I will say Dallas gave it away with like 6 million dumb plays in a row. Cheech said pretty much everything I wanted to say about what have they done to prove they are a championship caliber team. They have lost some close games in the WCF with key players injured for the last two year. They are the last team in the West to beat this Mavricks team. They are better this year than the last two years. If they aren't championship caliber, i would like to know who is.

.6 percentage is the difference between a good d and a bad d? ANd once again, this means you are calling the Spurs and Mavs horrible rebounding teams. You can't argue that., The suns are quite literally number 3 in the league on the defensive boards and number 30 on the offensive. But they also shoot better than every other team in the league. Fun fact, if you make shots, there is no offensive rebound to get. So sure, the total rebound numbers look off with them at 18 in the league but they are quite literally not missing nearly as many shots as the other teams in the league. That is getting it done. I personally think you thought you had a argument and the stats don't back it up at all. But thats okay. I understand why people would believe that with the comentators sqwaking about how bad of a defensive team the suns are but the numbers and the results say a completely different thing.

I had this discussion last week I think, San Antonio did not OWN the suns in the regular season in 05 or 06. In 05, they only beat the suns at full strengh once. In overtime. The other win, Nash didn't play and the Suns win, Duncan didn't play. Dallas has beaten the suns twice this year. Once because Raja Bell missed a freethrow to win it with no time on the clock and the suns lost in overtime and the second time off a Dirk jumpshot with .7 seconds left to win by one. People throw around this "OWNZ" crap all the time, but how is a bunch of games that came down to one shot showing dominance by anyone. The oppoents shoot 44.8 percent from the field and the suns oppents shoot 45.4 percent from the field. Are you going to really sit here and argue that .6 percentage point is the difference between good defense and bad defense? The suns average more defensive rebounds per game than the Mavs, but the Mavs average 2 more offensive rebounds. The suns also happen to shoot 3 percent better than the Mavs. Meaning? The Mavs miss more shots thus get more offensive rebounds. Everything you are trying to argue is...well...wrong. Unless you are arguing that dallas's rebounding plain sucks and they are a so-so defensive team. And if you want to look up something else, the Suns average the exact same amount of rebounds per game as the SPurs, and defensively holds the other team to 45.4 as compared to the 44.2 that San Antonio does. So once again, either you are really really really wrong or the Spurs also are so so defensively and suck at rebounding.

Well Nash by himself for sure, he gets torched by guy's like Terry and Parker anytime he faces them. They give up more PPG than all but 5 teams, and while that's indicative of their style of play, their opponent's FG percentage is middle-of-the-road. I think they rank like 12, which isn't that good. I should have qualified my statement a little more -- they're defense is mediocre, which is bad for a supposed Finals contender. The problem with this statement is that Nash torches guys like Terry and Parker anytime he faces them. Tony Parker is a worse defensive player than Steve Nash(yes, I mean that seriously) and Jason Terry is not much better than parker. Defensively when it comes to being in the right position, taking charges and disrupting plays, steve is pretty good. He isn't great at keeping guys infront of them. And once again, when people say SUPPOSED finals contender when injuries is what kept them out the finals two years straight. There is nothing supposed about that. Blah blah blah, they give up more ppg, but the average the most. PPG is always deciving. Point differential is what is most important. Yes, If I hold the ball until one second left on the shot clock on every trip down, I will probably hold a team to 75-80 points per game. But I won't score more than 75-80 points a game. The suns shoot the ball within 10 seconds of the shot clock most times. Teams can get up to twice as many chances at scoring against them than other teams. But whatever. Nothing is going to stop people from incorrectly doubting them until the win the championship. But at the same time I don't understand why people are blowin Dallas so much. They haven't won one either. And this Dallas team is 1-1 in the playoffs against the suns. that was missing a VERY key part both times.

THe bucks real fuck up was firing Terry Porter. He was simply a better coach than Stots, who I don't mind as a coach(hell, I would gladly welcome him back over Mike Woodson right now). They were doomed from that. And I was in the "This is a really dumb trade for Milwalkee" camp. My post after the trade: Yes....look at the good predictions in case the Hawks don't make the playoffs...then ignore that one.

HEAR Cam'ron call into a radio station after 50 says that he can have a album shut down on Koch records if he wants and Koch records is a artist grave yard http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLhr5zkOFik Which would have been just funny, and I wouldn't have called anyone a idiot in the situation. But then.... WATCH as Cam'ron, his stupid ass sweater and his dickhead friends hop around laughing like they just crank called someone and they are 12: http://blogs.sohh.com/ya_heard/2007/02/post_65.html HI FUCKING LARIOUS.

Nas - Zone Out Na I'm lyin', who gives a fuck that's so tired While pictures of Bravehearts just livin' it up A million of us, each nigga itchin' to bus You got a house in Virginia The only way you sicker than us Gettin' bagged with .22's now you's a ridiculous fuck No need for the gun play, it's okay, 'cause you dyin' anyway Plus on the new Young Buck tune with 50 adlibbing at the end he says Cam's got AIDS. I don't think that's true, but the HIV thing Cam didn't respond back to, he just went lower by taking shots at Nas's recently deceased mom. The 50 Cent line about Cam and his snapple was fucking fall over funny though. "You taking about you got IBS, you got A-I-D-S, that's why they call you Killa. Fuck around and brush your teeth, your teeth bleeding, niggas drink behind you and have all kinds of shit. They show up 30 pounds lighter, taking about 'All I remember is I had a little bit of Cam Snapple.'"

Well, the Sixers just went and got the shit stomped out of them in Atlanta tonight. With some choice losses to other teams, Atlanta will be within 3 pretty soon. Joe Johnson being lost for the season is a big blow for sure, but the Hawks have been winning because of alot of injuries. The concussion Lowrenzen Wright suffered forced Mike Woodson to play Solomon Jones, who everyone with eyes watching the Hawks this year knows should have been playing instead of Wright anyway. His insertion into the starting lineup has given the Hawks a athletic shotblocker at the 5 and helps out Josh Smith. Speedy Claxton going down again with Tyronne Lue still being kinda hurt made him play Salim Stoudimire more, who has earned his PT. Plus with Joe out, he is forced to call actual plays instead of the "Give it to Joe and let him create" offense he had been running. Josh Smith has been playing out of his mind. Tonight he had 26 points 17 rebounds, 3 blocks, 4 steals, 5 assist...just a beast all over the court and this is becoming routine for the guy. He is averaging 17, 8 and 3.2 blocks since the allstar game.

The special on The History Channel was practically an informercial for the film. They do that for every film that comes out with historical revelance. Where they compare the film and actual history. I remember they did one on Pearl Harbor and ripped on how sucky the romance part of the film was so I am starting to doubt that the studios are paying them to do it. They also ripped on Last Samarai for displaying the Samarai as the heroes of the story when it should have been the other way around.

You shouldn't be allowed to watch movies anymore for comparing this to Star Ship Troopers. Not liking the movie is one thing, but thats just crazy.

I don't believe that flopping is rampant. I do think there is a definate lack of calling the other offensive fouls that don't include bowling over guys (clearing space with your elbow, pushing off to get position, things of that nature) so the guys are pretending to get shot. But like I said, risk versus reward here. Somone trying not to get T'd up for flopping WILL hurt someone else.

it's funny, Rip, you've been pimping this game for years and I keep telling myself I should check it out, I just never get around to it! Its like 2.99 now cheap ass. get on it. But seriously, you HAVE to get past the first 4 boards, play it on the hardest difficulty and try not to lose any squadmates and you have a game. I haven't had a chance to play Halo all the way through though and I doubt that I will be able to touch the xbox for a while. My girlfriend just got hooked on Playboy: The Mansion and like any Sims game, that is really really addictive for like the first 3 days. Add in the big bouncy boobs and it will keep her intrest for at least another month.

I just witnessed my first drive-by shooting

Episode was hilarious. Plus, its good that someone besides black people understand that Jesse Jackson is not the Emperor of black people. Even if he told Randy he was. "kiss it" had me laughing too, because thats all those apologies are. Kissing Jesse jacksons ass.

While I might seem insane to some for saying it, excluding the first 4 boards which were indeed crappy, I liked Brute Force better. Yeah....I said it.

Great graphics Great story Great score Great environments Great characters Challenging Multiplayer Need I say more? I don't see it. The graphics do look great for a last generation game, and the story is better than usual, but the environments are kinda BLAH to me, the characters are...well...there. I don't know. I just don't get the hype. Maybe I should try Halo 2. I just keep seeing all this stuff about Halo 3 and I just don' understand why I should give a crap.

And I agree on that part. That's pretty much the line I've been towing since step one. It's not like he's going to hit dudes twice on purpose once he's already been suspended for it. I already said that it wasn't his normal follow through Rip, what more do you want from me. It's his follow through to try and get free throws. He's doing it on purpose, but he's not trying to hurt people on purpose. Not to mention, he said the league hasn't even talked to him about it or tried to get in contact with him. The ref called him for a foul the last time, and when it happened with Manu, he didn't get anything. Does anyone else find that kinda funny? I don't even think it's right to flop around and fake to get foul calls, so there. I'd like it if they suspended some other guys for doing it. First all the whining about suspending for flopping is ridiculous. Second, you keep pretending that making a unnatural basketball move is bullshit. If he had hit the guy in the side, he wouldn't get suspended. He hit guys in the head doing something that wasn't slightly natural. I don't understand what the argument is. Once again, I am asking, are you saying it should be a foul and done? You can't hit people in the face. Its sloppy, dangerous and unnecessary. This isn't setting an example. This is common sense. I remember after the last time he got suspeded, Lebron james nearly took Dwayne Wades head off that next night on a foul, but didn't get suspended. ANd people bitched. But lebron was going towards the ball saw he didn't get it, reached for the foul and clotheslined the guy. But it was within the flow of basketball. Swinging your arms toward the head of a guy behind you after a jump shot isn't. Its that simple. Yes, he should be suspended everytime he catches someone in the head. As for the flopping thing, I want to stress this again. Flopping is when no foul occured and the guy falls around like a idiot. Flopping is NOT going down when there is a legit offensive foul (like Shaq always complains about. He will take his forearm, push a guy in the throat, the guy exaggerates....its not a flop. You fouled him). Flopping doesn't really occur that much that they need a rule for it. But the reason I don't want to see flopping rules is that some body trying to avoid a tech or a fine is going to cripple some guy. Mark my words and I mean it literally. Some guy not giving up his legs and falling back at the first sign of contact on a drive is litterally going to cripple the guy going for the shot. I don't want to see that happen.

Take your arm and put it out to the side with your palm facing forward. Now move your arm back another 12 inches. Now explain how you can naturally get your arm there on a follow through of a jump shot. When Manu's flopping involves swinging at a guys head, then okay, you have a point, but are you actually saying that he should feel free to give a guy a shot to the head if they block his shot and all that should be called is a offensive foul? Come on now. Lets be realistic. All you hear them rant about is how much control Kobe has of his body. Now all of a sudden he accidentally flails his arms at a guy. But aside from all that, watch all your tapes and see this one thing. Watch Kobes arm after he makes contact. He has follow through. If you are just flailing your arms about, not expecting to hit anyone. He swung high and hard with the expectation of hitting someone. Maybe he didn't expect the results, but you can't swing at people on the court and think its cool. The fact of the matter is he swung his arm all the way back behind his body with the intent of hitting someone. He hit them in the face. He fucked up. ANd if he does it again the suspension should be longer. Bruce Bowen stepping undershooters makes most of them worry about their landing and not their shot thus trying to make them miss their shot. Everyonce and a while, someone lands on his foot and sprains an ankle. Are you going to say its not a dirty play because Bruce didn't intend for them to get hurt, just to freak out and miss the shot? That is what I am saying. No body is out to get Kobe, he needs to stop taking shots at guys faces and he won't get suspended. http://youtube.com/watch?v=TA0tZLE2XaM You can HONESTLY look at that and say there is nothing wierd about how he swung at these guys?
-
Its not retarded. Thats not what he does with his arms on his follow through. What Kobe is doing is the same thing that Karl Malone did with his elbows when people reached in or Charles Barkley when he would destroy your soul for taking a charge, or Reggie Miller when he would kick you in the nuts for running at him. The thing is, Reggie got suspended a couple of times when it was obvious that he was aiming for the guy. Karl Malone was suspended when people did reach in and he hit them with the elbows. And Kobe is getting suspended for purposely hitting guys in the head for challenging his jumpshot. If you are honestly going to say that it makes perfect sense for him to change his complete follow through and just so happen to hit the guy that challenges his shot in the face, then...well...I don't know. You really are being a homer. I personally don't give a fuck what Jaric says, Kobe did that shit on purpose and this time it was pretty obvious.

I just played Halo for the first time. I don't get it. Whats the big f 'n deal?
