You know, I know that Puffy gave a bunch of artist some fucked up contracts which they all stupidly signed, but Ma$e fucked Puff over. He made one album (the second one doesn't count...he wasn't even trying) then "retired" after he got all the money from Puff. Then all of a sudden he wants to make a comeback and be Mr. Gangsta man. Puffy is supposed to just let that money go? Fuck 50 and fuck his record label. Puffy owns Mase's no longer having talent ass, and thats just business.

Amare, without the explosiveness can still put up 20 and 10 in the league. People look at highlights and thinkthat was amares game. His game was the ability to face up on anyone and have a very consistant mid range jumper, or use his ball handling to get by you with if you closed(ala Tim Duncan). On the post, he simply bullied people around with his strength. Yeah, his explosive ness alowed him to get some freakishly great looking dunks, but those dunks didn't come in the half court. He dropped 37 a game against the spurs with hook shots and jump shots. THere is a reason out of shape, hasn't played in a year Amare dropped 20 and 10 his first game back. He just wasn't the highlight machine. And when Amare last played, marion put up 18, Q at 16, Joe Johnson at 17, Nash at 17 and Amare at 26. So how exactly is Boris diaw and raja bells production going to fall off with him back when the guys that they are replacing scored more when they were with the Suns? Amare will take front court minutes away from Sean Marks and Kurt Thomas(oooohhhhhh) Who the fuck cares. Shawn Marions scoring numbers will drop and so will Nashs. Banks and Barbosa and Jones(pick on) will provide ample offense off the bench. I am picking the Suns(yes, I know I pick them like every year) but this year...seriously....SUNS.

He is a great rebounder for his size though. I guess this officially means that Eric Piakowski is going to be the official towel waver with Pat Burke. Lets see: Amare Kurt Thomas Boris Diaw Either Sean Marks or James Jones Shawn Marion Jumaine Jones Raja Bell Leandro Barbosa Steve nash Marcus Banks I likes that. I likes that alot.

And it will bring me to the Eminem/50Cent beef that I have been predicting. Its taking longer than I thought, but its coming.

Jay Z says everyone could be running the rap game. Fact is Saigon hasn't displayed anything that would suggest that he could be a commercial success. I just don't see people bopping their head to "the Letter P". Papoose, like I said, will be a great guest on a song. But he is still a very lyrcial, always sounds like he is battling, no club song having mixtape king. Sure he has had some verses on some R&B singers songs, but so has Peedi Crackk and that dude ain't going to run anything either. Name one Papoose only club banger and then maybe I will start to agree with you. Freeway. He is unique...but not unique like Lil Wayne. He is more annoying unique. And I know that might sound like personal opinion, but honestly, Freeways main talent is to get all intense and spit line after line of just incredible stuff that makes your face squinch...but that doesn't sell albums. The people that will be "running" the rap game will be those that can sell albums to the mainstream but still have the respect of the hip hops heads and won't be looked at like they are killing the genre. The guys you have named (except Bishop Lamont who I am just not feeling) are good for half of that. But outside of Game, Lil' Wayne I don't see these guys being able to sell anything to anyone.

The kick meter sucks when you are on a hash mark. from straight on its easy but from angles, ugh.

a few things. saigon, j.r. writer and papose are never going to be running a thing. its been like eight years now and saigon is in the same place he was when he got out of jail. strong concepts and such, but he will always be a mixtape rapper. Pappose...Canibus 2.0. That is all he is. and I will still listen to alphabetical slaughter right now and bob my head, but dude will never be more than a good featured artist on your song. j.r. if he leaves dipset maybe, but people are ignoring him because he rides with cornballs. TI will have longevity because he can make radio hits, girls think he is cute, and he has a vicious flow. Lil Wayne has a more vicious flow, can make club hits, but he looks like a wet weasel. he loses some mass appeal there(and I like wayne a lot more than TI and agree the carter 1 and 2 were better albums than TI last few efforts.) you are reaching with bishop lamount, Freeway, and Serious Jones. reaching HARD.
-
I thought it was pretty obvious this song was about ben moody. or what ever his name is. yeah...I like it. although it does sound like more of the same.
-
Like Banky or not, TI is the fucking truth. Plus Rhymefest and The Outkast album...I don't see how you would call either one of those bullshit. VERY good albums in my opinion.

While I think that Randolf is a piece of crap, that is some bullshit reporting by the portland papers. When they put he is being investigated for Sexual assault in the headlines but you read the article and the cops say "He could be a suspect...he could be a witness...we don't know right now". Always trying to be the first to get a story I guess.

Wh...what? Anyway. Paramount banking on a movie doing half a billion dollars for them to turn their desirable profit is just retarded on their part. I know that Tom gets alot of money and blah blah blah, but hey, they signed the deal in the first place. Don't bitch now when you ONLY get 200 million in profit off a movie.

Not to just pick on the Pacers though. THe Hawks could have traded harrington for a first rounder with the same restrictions that the Pacers have placed on theirs (nothing inside the top ten) and still have gotten a contract year player that could help the team and still have the same amount of cap space at the end of this year. Instead they took a shitty draft pick for a guy that half the league was tripping over itself to get. Fucking Billy Knight. Even Al Harrington has been quoted as saying that Indiana really got over on the Hawks on this one.

Fair enough...athough that would only scratch about 5 of those albums off the list meaning that one good mainstream hip hop album has come out a month...still pretty good, but cool. I would like to say though for the record to everyone in this thread that said otherwise, Big Boi is going to have to go down as the single most underrated rapper ever. Pas big daddy kane and Kool G Rap. Seriously, I don't think people even listen to what he is saying most of the time because they are so busy waiting to hear Andre's verse. But they are both amazing. Andre's has more charisma and a little better flow, but Big Bois word play is simply amazing.

It august...You name 13 hip hop albums from this year that you think were great.....and we are in month 8. How exactly has it been a bad year for hip hop?
-
Raekwon's Only Built for Cuban Links only solo Wu album I liked. Thats it. I could make one kickass album by picking tracks off the others solo albums...one of the greatest albums ever actually, but none come close to this in my eyes.

I say place bets on the first group to say something racist about the others. My money is blacks saying something racist about the asians. Second Whites saying somthing racist about Hispanics. We should start a pool.

I think the best D in the game is 4-3 cover two with the middle linebacker as a spy. You absolutely destroy the running game. Plus if you use the ends like I do, you can get a very good pass rush going. I usually only switch to Tampa cover 2. But I usually stick with that same D. Of course I gave up 220 passing yards a game this last season with my all freshman secondary, but I gave up like 28 rushing yards a game.

Brute Force. It was 7 bucks and it looked cool. Played it, thought it sucked. Played it again and got past the first 3 missions and discovered what was one of the more kickass games I have on the Xbox. But the first 3 missions really really suck.

Has Matt Shaub won a game? I seriously don't think that he has. Not one. Bottom line, Vick is a average to good "regular" QB. When you add his playmaking ability with his legs he is a great PLAYER. They got away from that last year and started trying to make him pocket man, which, well...basically makes him the same qb as the rest of the league. Its like Reggie Miller deciding he didn't want to be known as just a jump shooter so he refused to take a shot outside of 8 feet. In this game though, the falcons offense is unstoppable. Defense...well...thats another story. But goddamn that offense is incredible.

It brought in almost 400 million worldwide and thats not taking dvd sales into consideration. Just a dumb ass move on Paramounts part honestly. And I am sure Cruise isn't going to go postal. He can rub all his money on his hurt ego and it will make it feel better.
-
Its not like anyone would be willing to take Jackson or Tinsley at this point. They traded who they could trade, although that AJ trade was just freakin retarded. Tinsley will probably get hurt because someone looked at him too hard leaving whats his face to be the starting point. ANd last I checked he was demoted to third string last year.
-
Because the Falcons have played so amazingly well when Vick isn't in.
-
Cover the ball. Problem solved. I'm dead serious. If you don't do it on higher difficulty levels you will fumble alot. Yep. It has become routine for me to hit the cover the ball button on offense when I see that I am caught.
-
Call webber shit all you would like, he still put up 20-10. And only missed 7 games. While playing....GODDAMN. 38.6 minutes a game? WHat the fuck? Why in the fucking hell is Chris Webber playing that many minutes a game? Well...anyway, that isn't a shit player. Jerome James, Malik Rose...that is shit.

Wait, what? He ordered someone to shoot his pregnant girlfriend. I can't tell if you're kidding or not. No he didn't. Rae owed the guy some money from a drug deal, the guy and his friend was looking for rae, asked his girlfriend, she said fuck you and flipped him off, dude got pissed and shot her. He told all this to the police when he was arrested. THEN the offered him a deal that said if he said Rae paid him to kill the girl, he wouldn't get the death penalty. Then he changed his story. There was no evidence that Rae paid the guy to kill her. Now Curruth was using the money he made from football to buy huge amounts of drugs, and that in turn got the girl killed so in that sense, yeah, he was responsible. And I am not saying he was a smart/good guy. But he didn't pay someone to murder that girl. Thats what OJ did.
