All of Shaqs fouls are like that. That was a Shaq foul. Shaq's fouls appear to be lazy but when you look at them, he just hammers a guy across his chest and face with his arms. Stackhouse's foul was not that bad. Still doesn't outdo the Luke Walton Lariat in round one that didn't get a suspension. Boris Diaw and Dirk Nowinski did the same thing to each other in Game 6 of the Suns/Mavs series within in 3 minutes of each other. That was a hard foul. Nothing more and nothing less. What I personally find desturbing is the "Miami getting physical and roughing Dallas up" which basically every sports writer is admitting too right now, yet Dallas still shoots over 10 less freethrows than the Heat. The heat are visably being the more physical team yet that are calling it tighter on the Mavs. Wierd. Still...Mavs in 6

With the Hulk, I have to say that Bana's performance was great but was turned into crap because Jennifer played the same damn character. Banner was supposed to be a guy with a WHOLE lot of rage bubbling underneath the surface like that. The guy was internalizing everything that happend to him in his entire life. I honestly don't get why Connoly was playing it like that too. It offered no contrast to Bana's underlying rage and intesity that would have been apparent had she not being feeding off it and copying it.

One, Raja Bell is the starter at the two. Second...trading Shawn Marion for Gerald Wallace is basically trading Shawn Marion for a slightly less effective offensive player and basically the same on defense...oh...and he Shawn plays 82 games a year and Gerald plays about 60 games. Bad trade for the suns. James Jones and Kurt THomas and MAYBE Eddie House are all trade bait for the Suns to get a backup point guard. They can use their two first round picks for the future. I actually was looking at Brevin Knight as a viable backup point and yeah...he is a good choice, but not for Marion.

He just became the steal of the draft.
-
I still say I brought the kickass to that thing.
-
I don't care if he killed someone, if the Rockets don't get SOMEONE that can hit a outside shot, they need to just sell the team.
-
I think this is going to a be a fun draft seeing as noone has any idea who the other is going to take. Every Mock Draft is ridiculously different.
-
Oh hell, I was thinking the guy was plastered. .11? That ain't that drunk. Especially if .08 is legal. Still, if he falls that is just some team that is going to be able to pick up a shooter.

I disagree on this one. Her holding on to Ms. Marvel and not letting go shows exactly how strong her power could be. OHHHHH she touches people and they get weak but they get back up later. Not that impressive. But holding on, it showed her not only taking the powers but the parts of her mind and the out come of that. Because honestly, if it weren't for the "taking their memories, driving Rogue kinda crazy" thing, why wouldn't she just hold on to every mutant they fight and be done with it. I think was a very interesting use of the powers. And I have no problem with them reusing powers. When you try and give everyone a different power you end up with Longshot who had the single most pathetic power known to man. "Hey...I'm Lucky!!!"

All I got to say is this, the Heat pushed the "INCREDIBLY GREAT LARRY BROWN PISTONS" to the edge of being put out the playoffs 4-2 last year two. But what was the difference? Was it the coach? NO. It was Shaq and Dwayne Wade both being hurt thus losing in 7. People pretending there is some huge change in the team are ignoring that fact. A healthy Wade and Shaq and the Pistons would have been gone in 6 last year just like this year. Flip didn't make the Pistons a worse team. The players made it a worse team. What the fuck did Ben Wallace have to be fed up with? "I am tired of not being apart of the offense at crucial times in the game." THat was what he was bitching about. This fucker shoots 2% from the free throw line and is whining about Flip pulling him out on a offense/defense situation. Just because Larry Brown used to leave him in. I am sorry but you can't possibly take Ben's side on that one. Yeah, Rasheed turned into Mr. 3 pointer this year and wouldn't go to the post. But look at his 3 point numbers for the last few years. He has been drifting back there more and more and more every year. Whats even worse, him standing back there stops RIp from getting as open as he could be. Like I said, if the Pistons could knock down WIDE OPEN jump shots, they would be in the finals right now. Completely uncontested jump shots weren't falling. That isn't bad coaching, thats bad shooting. Plus being unmotivated in the NBA playoffs isn't your coachs fault. I don't see how 5 guys who know they aren't going to get pulled even if they play like crap can be unmotivated in the fucking playoffs. Grow up and fucking play.

I only want my team to lose to the Champs. Never anything less. That means that they lost to the best, and not some scrubs that couldn't get it done. Therefore I am routing for the Mavs to win it. Plus, I guess I can route for Jason Terry since he is a Hawks product and I used to play against him in the summers here a few years back, but I swear, maybe its hanging around Mark Cuban, but the guy has become such an annoying asshole when he opens his mouth. He wasn't like that before. But I can see past that and hope to see Dirk win the trophy.

He has the sports curse too? I need to team up with that guy. We'd destroy franchises. Perhaps we're both pulling for the Royals in the back of our heads and that's what has caused this? Man I'm at a crossroads here. On one hand I hate everything about the Heat except Wade. On the other hand I love seeing Igg wrong and especially love it when he loses money. Who to pick? Yeah, I secretly knew the suns were going to lose as soon as you picked them....fucker. And what is up with the ABC crew tonight? Are they all drunk? Anthony Johnson does not coach the Mavs, Diop doesn't look a goddamned thing like Dirk, and Antoine walker plays for the HEAT.

Um...Amare averaged nearly 40 points a game against the SPURS in his last playoffs. Nearly 30 against this same Mavs team. Barbosa still would be backing up Nash and bell...how exactly would his minutes drop. And Tim Thomas, all he does is add depth to the bench, although to be fair, he probably wouldn't have been signed if not for Amare being hurt. Bottomline, Suns sweep the Lakers with Amare, take the Clippers in 6 and I dare say take the Mavs. Hell, part of me still believes that they would have taken the Mavs if Raja hadn't screwed up his leg....the same way I believe they would have taken the Spurs had Joe Johnson not fallen on his face against the Mavs the year before.

I think you put Jason Kidd in those prime years, or even now in the Suns, I think they would be a much better team. Jason Kidd would give them the defensive strength they need in the backcourt. Oh, and although its hypocritcal after my last post, but this team would suck with Jason Kidd at the helm. Nash's one on one offensive abilities is just as important to the suns suceess as anything else. You can't go under screens because he is too good of a shooter. You can't double off anyone on the court because they all can hit the jump shot. You put Kidd out there and all of a sudden you can go under the screen thus killing the screen and roll and you can double off of Kidd who will simply never have a consistant jump shot. Plus, unless people didn't notice, Tony Parker is the only guard that has hurt the suns in the playoffs in the last two years. So unless Kidd was going to D up Duncan or Dirk, it makes no difference. Fact of the matter is the suns are going to have a low post presence to go to when they get in the half court with Amare next year. His minutes will cut into the "5th" mans minutes. Diaw, Marion, Bell, and Nash were always going to start. Tim Thomas or James jones were the fifth guy and if anyone even tries to argue that Amare Stoudimire playing at 50 percent isn't better than those two you should be banned from the sports folder all together.

Okay...but what does that have to do with anything. Who will be more likely to win a championship in their career. Nash or Kidd? And like its been said, this is the Heat and Mavs thread. Look forward to a good game tonight...even if I am still in mourning.
-
I still say the championship is the Suns to lose next year. I would like to see it explained how the guy that averaged 25+ points and had a, what some people thought, was a MVP year in this EXACT same system two years ago is supposed to fuck it up when he comes back.
-
I think both Joe Johnson and Michael Redd proved they were max player money last year and it really wasn't hard to see that they both deserved it.
-
And honestly, I don't think she was actually on screen more than she was in X2. She had more lines, and it was kinda necessary with Jean, Proff X and Cyclops being dead and all. At least they didn't treat me to more Marie "Why the fuck are they trying to make me a Xman when my powers are fucking useless in these movies because I didn't fuck up Ms. Marvel and have the ability to fly and super strength so I just kinda stand around and be pissed about my powers" aka Rouge and that bastardized version of Iceman who was always one of my fav Xmen.
-
They would be better off with Marcus Williams with all those freakish athletes on the team. By the way, I have been holding off for a few years now(rightfully so) for a few years now, but I am about to make the call....the Hawks...playoffs...next year. Call me crazy, but I see it happening.
-
The Hawks are going to offer him Max money just out of spite. They have money and no free agents worth a damn coming and need a PF/Center. Plus he and Josh Smith on the same team means that noone will ever be able to score against the Hawks at the basket again.
-
I still marvel at how a guy that big and that quick said no, I won't play in the NBA where guys my size get drafted on height alone with half my athletic ability, make 10 times the money and not get not get knocked the fuck out by any decent heavy weight in the world.
-
Didn't Payton no-show the Hawks, thereby ripping them off in a trade with Boston similar to what Zo did with the Raptors? Yeah but who cares about the Hawks! Gary Payton's career >>>>>>>>>> The Hawks franchise First, fuck ya, and second, Gary was never supposed to show up to Atlanta. The trade was agreed upon with the conditions that Gary would be waived immediately after the trade and then he promptly resigned with Boston.

When you invest it is not uncommon for them to want a real home phone number. Yeah, around 10 years ago. It is common place not to have a home line now.
-
If you've made it this long without one, you should keep it that way. I long for the days I had an excuse for people not being able to get ahold of me. Most people buy them claiming we're doing it in case of an emergency, but they rarely actually get used for that. Might I ask how much are you paying for a home phone service? Because ther is really no need for a home phone now unless you have an alarm system at home. I know here in Atlanta the cheapest you can get home phone service is around 30 bucks a month and that is about 4 bucks cheaper than what I pay on my cell. Add in the benifets of having a cell and its a no brainer.

And that Erica Dampier comment from Shaq stems from when he used to go to Golden State and get tossed around like a bitch by Danny Forson, Adonal Foyle and Eric Dampier. He would get mad because they got all physical with him.
