I personally don't care because basically every player on the team has a ring except Antonio. I love for players to win their first ring which is why I want either of the west teams to win this thing. I don't think there is a championship ring amoung either one of the teams. not ONE.

Lowry doesn't have half the court vision that Williams has displayed with consistantcy. Marcus REALLY can't defend, but as a pass first point guard, Lowry really doesn't compare.

Lakers need a low post threat. I say go get a cheap one like Othella Harrington or Al Harrington for that matter who can score on the block and demand a double once they get going. Jordan was the low post threat for the bulls so that is why he was able to dominate in the triangle, but Kobe's best weapon is his sick first step and you don't want to negate that in the post. Pair that up with a guy like Chandler who simply doesn't want ball on offense, he just wants to play D and rebound. You say get one cheaper but honestly, they don't really exist. Reggie Evans is just about the only guy to fit that mold available, and after that all the rest of them have been overpaid. Or...of course as always, you can go get Danny Fortson.
-
Tyson Chandler is the perfect player for the Lakers. Just go get the rebound. Thats ALL you do. Trading Marion is still jus too weird for me to see. But honestly either he or Kurt Thomas are going to be the odd man out and please...Kurt is the guy that is near the end. Amare. Boris, Shawn, Raja and Steve as the starters with Thomas, Thomas, Barbosa, Jones, House coming off the bench suddenly makes phoenix one of the deepest teams in the league. I say stick with it.

He'll be kicked out the league in about 4 years. I like the guy and all plus he can actually play D which is more than what I can say for Williams, but he can't shoot a lick, and is one of the most argueing angry fuckers I have seen. Plus I still think he came back to early from that knee. I don't care if he played well afterwards, he is that kind of tough stubborn guy that was probably playing through alot of pain. People look at guys with some ordinary problems in college (a drinking party or two, bad grades) as being the ones that would have trouble staying in the league, but I see a kid with this much emotion and this much of a temper problem on the court as being the type of guy that will get into alot of problems off the court when in the NBA. Hope I am wrong, but I wouldn't say he has a better upside than Williams because of those problems.

If anyone took Rondo above Williams, they would be down right retarded. Unless you want a scoring point guard, Williams is obviously the best guy in the draft at that position.

I have had my avatar for over a year now. It stop working about 3 weeks after I put it up there.

They were doing fine with him not out there. He was at the table when dallas made a quick 4 points in a row to push the lead to 6, but the backups had it down to two with him gone. These long rest periods will pay off when the series goes long.
-
Williams would be the best pick for them but Colangelo would honestly be too pussy to take him at number 1. I know, I am a suns guy and Colangelo was our GM, but honestly, his contributions to this team is trading away Marbury and Hardaway to free up money. D'antoni hand picked EVERYONE else on the Roster now, except Diaw who was a throw in with that Joe Johnson trade. What he did do is give up 3 big men and a draft pick for Jim Jackson. And not extend Joe Johnson's contract when there was absolutely NO real free agents out there with his skill level coming up. There is a reason Sarver let him go. Rex Champans incredible scouting for the team made him look good. But he was hands down one of the worse trade makers I have ever seen...just like his dad. Ripper - Still angry over the Dan Majerle for John Williams trade.

I mean, seriously, dude still wins. So some people on the the internet finds out that you watch porn (which, honestly amoung the internet, there is about what, 1% of the people not watching porn?). He got away with 375 pounds from this dude.

Italian prospect means Bargnani. This is why Bosh isn't a GM and never should be. The LAST thing they need is another guy in the paint. They have him and Charlie as midrange to down low guys. What you need is another guy to stretch the Defense and give you more room in the paint and to make people pay when they double either him or Charlie. I know nothing of this Italian guy, but if he can consistantly hit the three and has other intangebles, you couldn't do much worse than a 7 foot 3 point shooter if you are in Raptor land.

Except that it does. Home court matters in game 7's. The only way to avoid a game 7 is to win on the other teams home court and defend yours.
-
I personally didn't get that fucking exciting. It is stealing home court as you don't want to play a 7th game in Dallas. Dallas took it back tonight. Fact of the matter is, Phoenix needs to end this in 6, so yes, winning one in Dallas was huge. To ignore that fact is just plain stupid. As for this game. The game starting with when Dirk grabbed TIm Thomas's arm causing a turnover(that oddly people are just ignoring I guess), then the botched 24 second clock call THEN Kieth Van horn going up for a runner on the next play, the ball slipping out his hand and him going back up and grabbing it again(which for those of you not counting at home is a super duper travel) and Dallas getting ANOTHER rebound killed the suns. They were able to run roughly a minute off the clock there. If they could have gotten on the boards once there, it would have been a interesting game. Suns could have done alot more things to win this game though so those last few minutes would have just allowed them to steal a game they had no right winning. Dallas outplayed them plain and simple. I still think the suns take the next game, but it will be a 7th game now as I don't see Dallas losing 3 times in a row to the suns.

The Heat can't play Shaq or mourning if they expect to beat the suns. Take out Shaq, and all you have is wade who will get his, but the rest of the team won't stand a chance. There are bad matchup teams for some people. What you saw in the first quarter against dallas in game one is what they would do to the heat all game. Miami just can't matchup with the Suns. They matchup better against the Mavs, but I don't think they could beat them either.

You know after all the bitching about that Lebron travel. WHy doesn't anyone like to mention that he got fouled HARD 3 times on that play. Whine whine whine, "arenas would have never gotten that call" says the people that just forget that Gil drew a iffy blocking foul on Lebron a few plays earlier to go to the line and help them get the lead that Lebron took away. Its the same way as when a guy is going for a rebound gets pushed in the back and knocks it out of bounds. ALot of times refs will just say that it is his team's ball because they missed the foul call. You call travel against Lebron there and there has to be a answer as to why he was hacked thrice and no call was given.
-
Yeah, Beans kinda had that one coming. And I am a fan of the guy, but its about time that something caught up with him. I mean, I know he was pretty drugged up when he did all that dumb shit and is supposedly clean now, but still...he did alot of dumb shit.
-
Oh they do, which is what pisses me off. They let the little ones go, SOMETIMEs, then they just randomly decide to call it. Like players picking up, changing or sliding pivot feet happen all the time, but then all of a sudden a player will grab the ball give a pump fake and they will call the split second of their foot lifting before the ball hits the floor. I have no problem with them calling travel, I just wish there would be some consistancy. Expecially last night when that traveling call against Marion in the corner was a HUGE play and the play immediately after it was a more blatant travel and was a even bigger play.
-
Dude, he took two steps then hopstepped. Thats 4 steps. A double travel. To call marion for his pivot lifting on one end a split second before he moved and ignore a 4 step travel around the basket is just dumb on the refs.
-
Decently called game, but all the travel calls on the suns was ridiculous considering that they weren't calling the same plays on the other end. And I am not just talking about the Dirk play. Either you are calling every little lift of the pivot or not. Still, officiating isn't why the suns lost. The only bad calls against the suns were in the first quarter and those were non factors. They didn't hit the shots on some damn fine plays. Suns stole away home court advantage, so lets see if they can hold court at home and put dallas on the ropes. Hopefully so. And hopefully someone points out that grabbing the guy setting the screen and stopping him from rolling is a foul to the officials and to Jason Terry. I understand using the old vet tricks to get away with it, but dude was blatant.

Well...good first half. Eddie House once again providing Steve Nash with addtional rest, something he didn't get in the first two series. Call me crazy, but this series hinges on how productive he is while he is out there.
-
The Pistons are getting quite fucked in this last minute. Of course the facet thta they bitch about everycall in the game kills their credibility.
-
Dallas just got alot more shallow with Van Horn, Dampier and Diop all being pretty much useless in this series and Josh Howard being a little gimpy. the Mavs bench will consist of Marquis Daniels, Jerry Stackhouse, and Darrell Armstrong now. They are going to have a 8 man rotation just like the suns. James Jones's Jump shot is all but gone for this year, but he is proving to be valuable defensively and on hustle plays both defensively. Eddie House played valuable minutes last night, and Kurt Thomas will be a wild card. I personlly just don't get everyone pretending that all of a sudden the Mavs are just so much better than the suns. They were deadlocked in the regular season, the SUns beat them last year, and all of a sudden they are supposed to beat down the suns. Dallas is looking quite focused, yes, but the suns toughness has been carrying through these playoffs, and I don't think that is going to change any time soon.

Yesterday I went into dama levels of stupidity. I got pissed...punched a wall. broke my hand in at least two places that I can count. Out of all the places to punch, I hit a spot that has wood there. And there is no me guessing that it is broken in two places. You can clearly see it broken in two places.. on the back of my hand and further down near my wrist. I just started my job and have no insurance for another month, and I can't afford to throw that much money to a hospital. So today starts Rippers month with a broken hand. I have to type alot of stuff for a living so might as well practice here. Anger...makes you do dumb things some times. And fuck walls.

SNL Season Finale Review- featuring a look back at the season
Ripper replied to bob_barron's topic in Television & Film
I have to once again mention my mission in life to fuck either Nelly Furtado or Mya. Furtado is top of the list because Mya fucked Game, and seriously...ugh. Thats all I have to add to this thread. -
Dirk was getting doubled off the ball forcing the Mavs guards to make those crosscourt passes.
